“Amazing coffee and espresso from Columbia. Shop is minimalist and bright. Visiting from out of town, I tried their latte campesino (delicious but I prefer less sweet lattes so I will ask for half syrup next time) and cappuccino. Came back a couple days later for a second visit on the same trip and will make it a point to come back in the future.

And when I'm feeling Fat I get the Whole sheet, and I drive from O.C to get my fix oh wait and them Chocolate chip cookies... Ahhhhhh Pizza n Cookiiieess....! Thnx For the best pizza in my Vida. !”

“It's a nice little spot in San Pedro. The staff makes customers feel welcome and even offers a botana free while you wait. There is a wait, but it's for good reason, they're making your food from scratch. We had a pupusa de chicharron con queso, pupusa de frijoles con queso and a taquitos plate. To drink, an agua of cucumber pineapple. The pupusas were delicious, great flavors. Taquitos were bland, not to our liking, we had high expectations though. So we were a bit bummed out. The Agua was a bit too sweet for my liking, but once ice starts melting, it's better.

Overall, I think this is Salvadoran owned (not sure) but I saw a flag and they're pupusas were delicious. I'd try the Salvadoran dishes there again, not sure about Mexican. Sorry, but overall, everything else was great, including the service.”

“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.”

“My very first time at Waba Grill, even though it’s been in business for quite a few years. I visited the San Pedro location on Gaffey St. While it’s hard for me to review the atmosphere since I was ordering a To Go order, the store seemed clean and safe. The counter clerk (Gerry) was extremely friendly, especially after I told him it was my first time there. I asked if he could give me a general rundown of their menu, which he did, and he was super patient when I asked a couple of stupid questions lol. The food was tasty, but overpriced for the amount given. They also need to do better on the cut of their beef, as it had some gristle. This may be the beef purchased by corporate, as opposed to the prep worker’s skill in the kitchen. My impression is that the “kitchen staff” is simply 1 or 2 employees who simply assemble and heat the menu items. Nevertheless, Gerry was a good employee to have up front since he was both friendly and helpful. I may go back to give it one more try. Good location, clean and safe, with plenty of free parking in the back parking lot, and free side street parking as well.”

“This bar is so much more than a local dive bar. If youre a history nerd, do your best and have a drink here. My partner and i went on a weekend spontaneously. The bartender is the sweetest, and showed us loads of history about the bar. The area that it's in used to be the jail, and if you ask they can show you where the cells have been sealed! I had such a fun time for a few hours chatting with the locals and bartender.”

I have lived in San Pedro for seven years.
My husband and I didn’t know this PLACE until recently, however has been back 10 times in 4 weeks!

It appears low key in the outside.Do NOT be Deceived! In all San Pedro , THE Peninsula and could compete so easily in the entire State of CA for the dishes they offer, EXCEPTIONALLY Great tasting!

This is the BEST Place for : meat eaters, vegetarian or both.

The owner IS very congenial , The staff professional , efficient , welcoming. Our waiter, Jose, he is the best!

I rarely eat meat outside the house and enjoy it.
At Sebastian’s we have tried their : lamb chops entree with rice & Greek Salad ,gyro,The sampler, (we choose : falafel,patatas bravas,traziki,ALBONDIGAS )

Today , my husband and I had an amazing dining with the Best Rib eye bone in, last time we had it was 12 yrs ago, in another country at a five restaurant!

This is epic. This is The very first time I have consumed the entire t.bone steak and enjoyed it all, even licking the bones!

“Since I'm a very picky Japanese food eater, I tend to avoid anything that might be Japanese where it's not 100% Japanese. That said, I do enjoy the Thai food here. It's decent and filling. The staff are polite and I like it because it's in walking distance for me.

I have tried some Japanese-ish food like the lobster rolls or teriyaki chicken. Those dishes weren't bad if you consider them more California Asian cuisine. The prices are what you might expect these days for a spot like this. They do have lunch time specials so I think those are worth making the trip if you're in the area and want some decent Thai etc or something different.”

“It is the perfect place for even a mildly cold day. The ramen is absolutely delectable and so rich in flavor. I got the fried chicken curry ramen, and it was so good! The portion size was perfect and filling. There was more than enough chicken brought with the dish, and everything balanced so well. My friend and I split some takoyaki and the pork buns, and both were delicious. I look forward to visiting again!

Parking in the area can be difficult, as it's only paid street parking. On the bright side, the street parking is free after 6:00 pm.”

“Quick and good Mexican food. Not spicy, not too much salt, fried items taste good.

My to go items are the crispy potatoes tacos, with lettuce and cheese- cheddar. 9/10 times the tacos have lots of potatoes - mashed style and you quickly get full.

The chicken crispy tacos the day I went Sunday before noon- the chicken was so soft and had a good taste.

I haven had the enchiladas but my boyfriend and his mother liked the cheese and chicken enchiladas with the rice and beans.

This is more of a take out place. However they do have a lunch bench to have your meal.”

I've been a fan of Nim Chan's Kitchen for a while now, and it never disappoints! If you're looking for delicious, no-fuss Chinese food, this is the spot in San Pedro. The staff are always so welcoming and attentive, making you feel like a regular from the very first visit.

The food? Amazing! My go-to dishes are the Mongolian Chicken , the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and the garlic pork– full of flavor and always served hot. Portions are generous, which makes it great for sharing or taking some home for later. I also love how well they package the food for takeout; they make sure nothing spills, which is super thoughtful.

“Whenever we are in San Pedro, Los Angeles, we try to stop at Brite Spot for lunch or dinner. My grandson loves Mexican food and this place is his favorite in the area. It is real Mexican food, so if you are looking to diet this is not the place for you. The place is just so adorable. It is all decorated in sort of a Ranchero theme and you will hear Spanish music from the juke box. They have a great counter and super booths. They also have out door seating and I think live music out there now and again. The atmosphere is just the best. The customers are all nice and the staff is great. Your food will come hot and as ordered. They even have glass bottles of Coke from Mexico. Their food is comforting and filling. We love their enchiladas and tacos. They have great fish dishes, mostly fresh, and wow, their guacamole is fabulous. Parking is free and easy on the street. It is never too crowded. You will love this place.”

I wanted meat and she suggested the beef plate but I was being greedy so I added the rib to it. The food was really good! The meat was really well seasoned and like she suggested the sauces were really good. Get two sauces each. My order took thr right amount of time to be ready, and wasn't over ir undercooked. The portions are big and the salad is really good. It's definitely Keto/Adkins friendly. You get a lot of meat. I'm definitely going back. It was worth the price. Had I not been a total piggy, I probably could have gotten two servings out of it. I highly recommend.”

“Came here during the tallship festival, which the rubber duck was also part of the festival.They don't called this world largest rubber duck without for a reason, this floating cute ducky weight over 1300 pounds and over 100 feet tall !This is first time they had this in the west coast, who know if they ever come back.. History said unlikely but maybe in other west coast cities in distance future... Parking is not bad but you can find free parking not too far away in most resident area.This place is packed even during when it just open the door, expect a line.. There's two entrace, the line near the USS IOWA is long.. But the entrance in the left is fast and his is when you get your ticket. Which run $7 to all way over $80 if you want full sail on the ship which probably no need, since the rubber duck is so close to the pier and you need some distance to take a decent photo.LIke I need to tell you more, bring you *(&$ camera and just enjoy it ! There;s some band and small set of booth, real reason to come here is to see the ducky !”
