“I’ve been coming to China King, do not remember that was the original name back in 1994 when I started going there. We would always get a chow mein fried rice, orange chicken, and the spicy chicken. I came yesterday with my nephew for my mother‘s birthday. We got three trays of the spicy chicken and three small containers of chow mein. Food is very delicious and fresh Mr. David, which is the cook is very kind, always happy, smiling always greeting everybody and is polite to his employees, he gave us some popsicles yesterday.
I told the lady at the register that we came from L.A. and she said do they not have Chinese food over there? And I told her yes but we just come here just for the spicy chicken. She said she started working there about little under a year and a half ago. Great value for this delicious and fresh food. I need to come one day and take some to my dad.“

“Older lady skimps the plates sometimes and I expect to get big portions when I come home from work starving and stay loyal to them. I avoid every other Chinese spot on the way home which there’s a lot and come here cause I’m loyal to them. I’ve been here since the two sisters back in the days, I miss them sisters
I remember I would be able to feed me and my girlfriend at the time with one plate maybe they just had love for us cause it was just every other day but let me tell you them plates were fat. I couldn’t even close the lid.

“Eating here is kind of a unique experience. When we made reservations they asked us to order the food in advance. We ordered the coconut chicken hot pot (椰子鸡锅
), and braised beef daikon. The 椰子鸡锅 dish was interesting as it had coconut water, coconut meat strips, jujubes, and chicken on the bone we had to cook. They also were very particular where they told us to eat the chicken and broth first, then add the lettuce and cabbage.

The braised beef daikon dish was also quite delicious. Looking at the clientele around, it seems like the go to Cantonese style food in the area.“

“What an awesome little restaurant that popped up here. Was looking to try something new and found this amazing little bao spot. The most amazing thing is how they fry these bao. The bottom is hard and crunchy and the top is soft, making a soup filled bao in either seafood, curry or the standard pork. They sell them in quantities of 6 and 2 to 3 is enough to fill me! Highly recommend a quick lunch or dinner here, you won’t be disappointed in the authentic flavors.“

I was disappointed that I couldn't order a combo meal, where you get 2 different dishes with a side of rice and noodles, just like most chinese fast food places. “Their bbq were okay, I agree with some review saying their meat were small and mostly were fats. I've had bigger meat with the same price. Their other dish was better. Abalone was worth trying, it tasted really good and super spicy. Mala dish was my favorite, the more I ate the more numbing my mouth got.The service was fine in the beginning but later the servers stopped coming over to check up on us. We requested some items and to go boxes, but no one ever returned. Lol.“

“Hidden Gems in Santa Ana!! Their noodles was super flavorful and very, very tender. And was surprised me wa their skewers, it’s not like any other skewers at the other places. “This was my first time here and I came kind of late, so they were out of a lot of items. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, wonton soup and orange chicken. I should have gotten the family meal. Maybe next time. The 4 person family meal is $25.99 and 6 person family meal is $35.99 and they look like a ton of food. My rice and soup were made fresh and really good! I will definitely have to come again (a little earlier) and try some of the other dishes“
