“took two shots and hit my bong before coming here. i felt so fat but i evened it out by chain smoking a pack of cigarettes after eating. this is my happy place. i always come here when the slightest inconvenience happens to me. lucky chinese will always fill in a void in my heart that most can't. i love you. so. much.“
“The food here is delicious, and the serving ladies are a treat all on their own; always smiling and happy. The quality matches the price, for the most part; my usual pick for my family, 3 trays of 2 item combos [that's 2 side items on top of your choice of any mix of noodles, white rice, and fried, rice], runs me roughly $40 & change, a bit more if I get a drink or any egg rolls. My recommendations are the Garlic Beef and the House Special chicken. There aren't many seats in the place, but it's cozy enough if you wanna eat in, and they don't constantly play annoying music over speakers, which is a big plus.My only warning/complaint, aside from only being allowed one drink refill [their coke tastes better than some places, for some reason, which makes me wish I could get a second refill], would be to get the BBQ pork when it's fresh, if possible; as with the majority of chinese places, the BBQ pork tends to be a bit dry if it's been sitting out a while.Other than that, and the fact I can't afford to go more often, I have no complaints. Please do stop by on your way out from the Wal-Mart just a few doors down from them, if you can; nothing like saving the groceries for another night & just chowing down on some Chinese as comfort food sometimes, y'know?“
“Ok. So, I'm actually pleasantly impressed by the flavor and portion of my order. I got the pork ribs, crispy shrimp, and some fried rice. I don't know why I don't see an option to add pics. Maybe it's my phone, but I see others have posted pics. Well, anyway I recommend.“
“I think this place is a pretty darn good value :) They have a nice variety of foods. The general area and the restaurant ambiance is not the greatest, but I go here sometimes for the nice food and value. It is so expensive at even so called Fast Food places these days, it is difficult to find any value.“
“While visiting Bloomingdales for the first time, we saw a picture of this restaurant’s signature xiao long bao on their window. We decided to come back to try out the different flavors of these soup dumplings. We didn’t come once, but twice. First time we ordered the dumplings, wonton soup, wood ear, and pork chop. For our second trip, we were joined by a visitor from Taiwan who shared with us this restaurant group’s brand of over 10 eateries all over Asia . And how lucky we were to have stumbled upon their first North American restaurant here in OC. For our second trip we tried fried rice, noodle soup, tofu, cucumber, and ordered two deserts, black sesame mochi, and red bean glutinous rice roll. Both were freshly made, soft, easy bite and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall the portions are not huge, as you might expect, the pork chop has a soft skin, not the crispy Japanese style pork Katsu. Every dish was well prepared. They even elevated the taste of a simple fried-rice. The decor is upscale modern, the service was prompt. The server patiently explained their menu, their signature and popular dishes for us to try. When we couldn’t finish our meal, our leftovers were packed in an insulated bag. Next time we are in OC, we would definitely have a meal there again. If you do try their soup dumplings, remember to start with the original flavor, then work up the flavors: black truffle, cheese, crab, garlic, BbQ pork, Szechuan and finally kimchi. No, the kimchi is not too intense, you can do it.Vegetarian options: One person in our group is a vegetarian so we ordered, several items from their vegetarian menu-tofu, cucumber, wood ear.“
“Tried the Braised Pork Noodle Soup today and it was delicious. The meat had great flavor and the broth was rich. Staff were very friendly to me. I'll be back.Parking: Right across the street from Courtyard by Marriott.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level.“
“It was love at first bite, went to try this spot cuz the other spot closed down. Ordered Chow Mein with Veggies, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Broccoli Beef, Walnut Shrimp, and some fried rice. Everything was so bomb, each food had its own flavor yet could feel it's fresh. Place kinda threw me off with how empty it was but people bought their food to go. Would come back here to recommend family and friends.“
“Went here upon reading the reviews. It's not bad, but I was craving more flavor from the dishes. Perhaps I'm used to MSG in my Chinese food and am okay with it.I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops, shrimp with black bean sauce, Mongolian beef, and house fried rice.Overall, not bad, but I am used to stronger flavors.“
“This restaurant is a gem! Super friendly and helpful service and great choices. We enjoyed catching up with our family while sharing a large room with others surrounded by tasteful decorations. If there were 6 stars, I would have given them!“
“Amazing venue! I came here for a friend's wedding and it was a great experience. The venue itself was large with adequate space for a big 200+ wedding. I've heard that it could also be expanded to also accommodate for an even larger group. I definitely recommend this place if you are planning on having a big wedding! The food was so delicious! So many dishes! Even though I was full, I kept eating because of how delicious the food was. The peking duck and walnut shrimpdefinitely stood out to me. Definitely one of the best wedding foods I've had. I definitely prefer banquet style food due to my Asian palette. ImThe venue could easily be transformed for weddings as well as birthday parties and other types of events. It is definitely one of the best banquet weddings I've been to.The service itself was also amazing. The servers were attentive and super friendly.“
