“Incredibly clean, with incredibly friendly & attentive staff! Brought my parents here for their first hot pot experience (it was my first time at Haidilao, too). We were greeted by Sharon, who, upon learning it was our first time, took a minute to explain how everything worked. She passed the word onto our server Earl, who turned out to be AWESOME. He explained everything in detail, guided us through the process, and mixed us a couple of complimentary sauces (!). Throughout the meal he was always nearby when we needed him, even though he was juggling us with other tables (which he also handled brilliantly! Could hear him making legit conversation with other patrons). The sauce bar included desserts & appetizers, and he made suggestions for which ones to try (they were all good)! He and Sharon were both very hands-on and helpful as we were packing up our broths to take home. They both took a lot of initiative and were genuinely “present” with us.The whole restaurant was also extremely clean & well-organized — there was obviously a lot of attention paid to both food safety and customer experience. There’s always a wait for a table at the restaurant, so plan accordingly, especially if you go for dinner.They have the big beer towers if your group wants to share. Full bar with lots of alcohol/cocktail options. Great food dishes were: Ốc Hến Bánh Đa (baby clams and escargot with rice crackers), Ốc Len Xào Dừa (coconut escargot), Ốc Saté Bơ (saté garlic butter escargot) and Cơm Chiên Crawfish X.O. You can make your own dipping sauce at their DIY sauce bar for your hotpot, and even snack on a few items they have out like their freshly made shrimp chips and sesame balls! They have a wide range of seafood, veggie, and meat options including their skewers and side dishes. The soup packs so much flavor and I loved their spicy mala broth. My favorite items were their beef, pork ribs, fish balls, and lamb! It's the perfect place to enjoy a hot, savory meal!They have two locations, one in Tustin and one in Rowland Hills. I typically don't drive to these areas but definitely will go for some delicious Asian food! They have all day happy hour on the weekdays with $1 soup bases and $1 beers, and their skewers cost around $3-10 which is such a good deal! “The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“

“Ate here 2x before writing this review. This is a skewer hot pot place and there is definitely a learning curve the first time. There were so many selections on skewers that it was difficult to choose. The fridge had several levels that I didn't get a chance to notice them all until my 2nd time around. It's definitely a scavenger hunt each visit.There are some rare finds here that are generally not offered at other shabu places. Like duck blood, duck feet, bamboo fungus (pith), giant prawns, crab meat, etc. Nice To Meet You have it all in one easy to access fridge. We noticed more selections on weekends than weekdays, especially the duck blood. It really fresh and runs out fast.For the non-spicy people, there are definitely choices here. The broth comes with 2 choices (or you can go with one, same price) and we loved the beef and tomato broth, both are non-spicy. For meat choices we order off the menu AND we get skewered meat. The kids prefer Flat Iron Steak. Ribeye is pretty good too.Eating with skewers is fun. Definitely an experience. The Brown Sugar Sticky Rice Cake also hits the spot for sweet tooth lovers. Reminds me of the sticky rice cake at Night Markets.The seats are spacious and can accommodate large parties.If everyone in your party can eat spicy, then this is definitely a worthy spot to visit. “Shabu Shabu is our special date night meal. We like to seak it out wherever we travel to. We really enjoyed our meal here, portions (ordered large meat) were good and ingredients were fresh. This is the first Shabu Shabu I have visited that did not have bok choy and that's my favorite veggie I was disappointed. But they have all the other ingredients, excellent broths and variety of sauces, even egg for dipping. We ate here on a busy Saturday night, it felt like a cafeteria with how the business is run, very efficient but no ambiance for the cost of the meal.“

We over-ordered and the wait staff gave us to-go containers. I am eating the leftover as I type in this review a day later. My stomach suffered a little I won't lie, but I can't wait to go back. Trust me when I say you do NOT want to miss out on this place!I went in with a bunch of foodie friends to try out some of their Asian fusion cuisine, and every single dish was off the hook! Everything they post on their social media is exactly what you get. This place has a casual vibe, and it's a great place for family and friends to gather.We started off with the Fried Roe Fish Balls and Popcorn Chicken. The fish balls came out hot and fresh, and they were slightly crispy on the outside with the soft texture you'd expect on the inside. The chicken was really good, crispy, and not greasy at all. I liked the dipping sauces they both came with, too. Next up was their famous Lomo Saltado Fries. O M G!!! This had me salivating when I saw it from afar before they even set it down on the table. The shaken beef on top of those perfectly fried, crisp fries was a party in my mouth all by itself!The final dish was the Back-Rib Pho, which has got to be the sexiest, beefiest bowl of pho to have ever hit my palate! I mean.. do you see those humongous beef ribs?! We had so much food left over AFTER we tasted everything. We each got to pack a doggy bag when we couldn't finish it all. You already know my motto: "Don't waste!!" LOL!To wash it all down, we had Thai Milk Tea (comes caffeinated or not, your choice), and the Lychee Rose Tea. It's like Mongolian bbq style where you grab a bowl, put what you want in it, and they weigh it for the price. It's easy to add too much. “Came here for shabu shabu recently. The presentation is on point, I like the three-tier serving tray! It's as if you're having afternoon tea; just replace the pastries and scones with protein and seafood! Each table had built-in induction cooktops to keep the pot boiling. If you prefer outdoor dining and you brought your furry companion, there's additional seating in the dog-friendly patio. They don't force everyone to get their own personal hot pot, but if you want a broth refill there is an additional charge if you choose to share. Broths we tried - White is a short rib and oxtail base. Fairly basic and clean tasting by itself. Red is similar but with chili paste added. It had a little more depth to it and the spice level was tolerable. Their namesake dPot broth (kelp, pollack, anchovy, vegetables) is definitely plain, but not a dealbreaker once you add things to the pot since that adds to the flavor. Protein - American Style Wagyu Beef Galbi Eye was thin slices of very high fat, thoroughly marbled meat. Takes just a couple of seconds swishing it in the broth for it to cook, with the far rendering very quickly. For something that's more lean, choose the Prime Chuck Top Blade. Quality for both was great. The Seafood option (combination of scallops, shrimp, crab, mussels, calamari) was fresh. We were also given fish cake balls, dumplings, and cubes of tofu to boil. Vegetables - a very large serving of healthy things. Napa cabbage, kale, bok choy, corn, onions, kabocha, broccoli, and like three types of mushrooms from what I remember. Sauces - Ponzu was a bit sour. Goma was more pleasant. Udon (thick wheat flour noodles), Kalguksu (hand cut noodles) and Potato Sujebi (hand-pulled dough) were all tasty additions, it just comes down to personal preference. If you're not getting hot pot, they have braised short ribs, army stew, steamed buns, dumplings, and seiro-mushi (Japanese method of steaming meat and vegetables in a wooden box). Prices are just okay. A lot of the things that are complementary at shabu shabu places elsewhere are extra charges here, or nonexistent. And I'd rather go somewhere that has more variety and flexibility in choosing specific ingredients. But I liked it and I wouldn't be opposed to another visit.“
“Great service and great prices. They have a QR code for you to order from and it comes to you on a robot (the waiters usually unload the dishes for you). There's also a station for you to get basic dipping accompaniments and shrimp crackers and such. My favorite items: lamb, seaweed, fish tofu, and hot pot egg noodles.My biggest gripe was sitting at a booth and the booth was so far from the table. My back was a solid foot away from the booth the entire time to be in eating distance. It was super uncomfortable. However, the second time I went, I sat at a table that had regular chairs and it was much better.“

I ordered my favorite cashew chicken spice level 5. Yes, level 5. I was not disappointed. I loved it. My wife ordered a mango chicken flavored meal.(sorry I can not think of what it was called). It seemed to be missing a touch of hot & flavor of something something... Tasted too much like Kimchi soup. However, the portion size was generous, and the accompanying banchan side dishes, white rice, and hot tea were all excellent. The price was also very reasonable, making it a great meal overall. They say they're most famous for their spicy steamed short ribs.. that'll be my next taste test.“

I came for a promo of two Nam Vang rice noodle got a free chiken rice. So far I am happy with just the rice noodle alone. They taste great. Flavourul and good portion. I will update on the chiken rice later. The nam vang come with dried or soup version. They come with some organ meat, shimp, fish ball, squid, pork, pork grind. If u order a dried version and not well versed in chopstick technique, maybe ask them for premix before bring to u as it quickly sticky together. But definitely worth every bite.
