“Second time eating here. Always a delicious meal. The garlic naan is so flavorful! Our server recommended the goat curry (I’m usually a lamb curry fan) and it was one of the best. Definitely come back. No pictures as we devoured the meal! Next time!!“

“Went on Monday evening, it was full packed. We had to wait for 15-20 mins. Worth of wait time. Food quality and taste is good. Even its Nepali restaurant I felt Indian taste. We ate kothey momos, veg chowmen and. Panner chilly. All were delicious, especially kothey momos. You must also try masala tea, it was fantastic. Service was okay as it was busy. They charge 3% for credit card payments.“

“Finally got to try the Momo grill restaurant after going to the food truck for years. I only regret not coming here earlier. The food is exceptional as always. The best Nepali food in the Bay Area. Momos are served hot and the service is so efficient. Manoj goes above and beyond to make sure everything is great. Really cute sit down restaurant with authentic Nepali decor. 10/10 would recommend this.“

“Urban Momo is a Nepalese food counter within the larger San Pedro Market. This cuisine has Indian, Chinese, Burmese, and other influences (or Asian Fusion), of which Gayle and I love curry and spice. My choice was the Chicken Biryani (Indian rice dish including vegetables & rice) was well placed, while Gayle raved about her Paneer Tikka Masala (Grilled cheese cubes in red creamy sauce). Although beer would have been an excellent pairing with my dish, I chose lemonade to allow the sweetness to supplement the spice. Gayle stayed with her usual glass of Chardonnay. As the San Pedro Market is largely an ethnic food court model, we had the pleasure of sitting where we wanted to, this time outside. Service was efficient, including the use of the fob to tell us when our order was ready. It was a nice time out including Gayle's Son and his Wife.“

“At first, I was gonna give this place a 1 star rating but ended up having a delightful overall experience. After picking up meds next door at Walgreens, I was hungry so decided to give it a try. “Indo-Asian” cuisine sounded interesting. I walked in and the place was empty even though it was close to noon. The lights were dimly lit and no one was around so I wasn’t sure if it was even open. I said “hello” to see if anyone from the back would hear me and some guy came out looking at me all confused too. I asked if they were open and if I could sit down but he didn’t understand what I was saying. I sat down anyway. A few minutes later, a scruffy man came out to take my order. He looked like he just woke up, talked really fast, and was a bit grimy looking. I started to regret my decision to eat there. After waiting maybe 25 mins for my food, I’d have to say that it was really flavorful and worth the wait. This pushed them up 2-3 more stars. As I was eating, I watched some teenager walk in to ask for a job. Turns out the grimy waiter was the owner of the place. After a brief conversation, the owner told the kid he could come in the next morning and gave him a job. Witnesses this act of kindness bumped it up another star. After the kid left, the owner came over to sit down and chat with me. We had a lovely conversation about Nepal, how he got into cooking, and he showed me pictures of his beautiful children. This bumped them up another star. This served as a reminder to not be so quick to judge. Kindness goes a long way! Nice little hidden gem on the Eastside, def worth trying!“

“The momos here are the bomb! We ordered the egg fried rice, chicken momos, chili chicken momos, and gobi manchurian. They were all so yummy and flavorful. They also give you sauce bottles; one mild and one spicy to use. There is only one table to sit at with six chairs, so you're lucky if you come at a slow time. You also know the food is really good when they take a while to make it. It's worth the wait!“
“These momos are soooo good. We used to order them for delivery during Covid when we lived in South Bay. We still think about them. They made us so happy in a time when little else did. We have yet to find momos as good as these ones, years later.“

“All preparations are very good. Doordashed the food. There are 10 pieces in each Momo order. Quantity of noodles was pretty good. It fed 5 kids. Sauces taste great. Chilli Garlic chutney is very spicy so be vary of that who cannot eat hot spice.“

“This is probably the best veg Momos that one can get in San Jose. Absolutely love the Momos and dips served to us. Minced with garlic, carrot cabbage etc .VEG chowmein were not that spicy (that's subjective)but I would love to have it customized as the cook there seemed sweet - willing to work on feedback. Foodtruck is right on the main road and accommodates few chairs & tables.“

“This place serves really good, delicious momos. They only thing you need to make sure is that repeat your order and confirm before you pay. They charged for Veg chili momos and just served veg momos. This happened with me 2 times and I observed that with other customer as well.“
“I wish I took a photo of the food before I devoured it! Where do I begin! Completely blown away - this is one of the best customer experiences I have ever had! I called ahead to find out where they were. They told me how to get there and even TEXTED me the address after we hung up! When I got there, I had no idea what to order. I just told them that I was starving and they made a recommendation. After ordering, they offered me a complimentary cup of, probably one of the best Chai Teal Latte’s I have ever had in my life - no offense to my south Asian friends who have made me CTL at their homes. After a short wait, the cook walked outside with this LOADED plate (literally a mountain) and handed to me this giant mountain of food. He walked me over to the sauce area and explained to me the sauces and poured me sauce on the side. The food was amazing. Well spiced, hot off the grill, and overall one of the best values of food I have bought in the South Bay. I wish I took a photo of the food, it was amazing. All for $13 (veggie chow mein + side of veggie momo). Thank you MoMo team! I will be making this one of the places I visit regularly.“

“Amazing food . I totally recommend the butter chicken curry! And definitely pick up an order of garlic butter Naan! I've never been a Indian food fan. This place is delicious! The owner or manager is fricken awesome and personable. The rest of the staff seem ok. But limited on communication with non Indian customers. I can guarantee this place has lost business because of this reason. Over all excellent food and I'll be back again soon“
