Uncover Santa Clara's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“Great food, AMAZING owner!Definitely the truck I'm hitting up from now on! My friends and I had the tacos and quesabirria, all so delicious, the meats had great flavor, all the salsas were so fresh (esp the avocado one! Omg). Absolutely adore the owner, she's so kind and so fun! You won't regret hitting up this truck!“
“This is a full service restaurant, thus qualified for a full 5 star.I was pleasantly surprised from water, through chips n salsa, to final Colorado dish, that literally melted in my mouth as posted by another patron.I highly recommend you experience the food and service in a surrounding that was pleasant to view.Parking: Like a hotel.Kid-friendliness: Plenty for kids to look at.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited to 1st floor.“
“Definitely come here for the tacos, they're 5/5. No complaints, absolutely delicious. The burritos aren't the best. They also put tomatoes-A LOT. I've never been to a taco truck that puts tomatoes on their burritos. Definitely ruined it for me. It was laking some flavor too. All in all, give this place a try. Order their tacos and you won't be disappointed!“
“Best tamales I've ate and I'm super picky!! The tamales go hard. I have not found anything close to them. I found the new address on DoorDash. I haven't been able to go but I wonder if they moved to the location in the attached picture. Update: I went and false alarm they aren't there.“
“This place is local to us but we just tried it lately. So far have had:Chili relleno, very good.Tacos, fish and shrimp, both excellent.Enchiladas, chicken. Red sauce may be too hot for most people, green fine. Very good.Carne asada burrito, LARGE. Moderate heat, really tasty.Chips and salsa, excellent, guacamole excellent. Chips were fresh and brown, not yellow. A little more salt than usual but great.“
“The first time I came I had 3 regular steak tacos $3.00 each. They were small, but enough. They were delish. This time I had three super tacos with lengua. The super tacos have onions, cilantro ,avocado, sour cream ,cheese, and salsa. The regular tacos have cilantro, onions, salsa. They give you the option of them putting the salsa on for you, or you can serve yourself in little containers.3 different Salsas which are really delicious. They use small corn tortillas which are fresh. They also only use one tortilla per taco, which I like. The super tacos are $4.50 each.I noticed some of the negative reviews are over the Top negative. Honestly, I find those suspicious ? I think some of these people have an ax to grind. Love this taco truck! ???Parking: Big parking lot ,plenty parking“
“Went between lunch and dinner time, wasn't too hungry so I thought I'd order something smaller. I was surprised by both items! Ended up taking home leftovers.both were very good and I'd consider visiting again. The horchata was also very delicious and we had got one to share and our server was able to split it into 2 cups for us!“
“Mall: 5 starsNew Anti-Pet Policy: 0 starsParking: 3 stars Only mall to charge for parking outside of SF. At least the first 2 hours are free. But there are no elevators in the new parking garage so you will have to dangerously climb up the ramp to get to your car after hours (restaurants outside of the mall close after mall hours). Ground floor parking is only for curbside pickup.I've been a patron of the mall for over 40 years. The mall is now stunning after the completed expansion. I love walking around with family, friends, and my furry friend in his stroller and exploring all the stores and mall offerings. As of recent, however, the mall's new pet policies have deterred me from doing much shopping there. I'll drop buy once in a while to complete a merchandise return but will otherwise shop online or at more pet friendly locations. I love dining at The King's Fish House and several other restaurants that offer outdoor seating because I have a small dog. I was just contacted today by The King's Fish House after making an online reservation and notifying them that I have a dog in a stroller. Valley Fair is clamping down on restaurants located outside the actual mall and no longer allowing them to serve patrons with pets in their outdoor patio. I've been dining there with my furry friend ever since the restaurant opened. Westfield has become very pet unfriendly. It's one thing to ban pets entirely from inside the mall (it's unfortunate that some pet owners have ruined it for the rest of us by not cleaning up after their pets), but it's going way too far by not allowing restaurants located outside of the actual mall to serve patrons with pets in their outdoor patio. I am not aware of any restaurants with outdoor seating in the entire City that does not allow dogs. While San Jose City and Santa Clara County (HSC Section 113903) allows restaurants to serve patrons with pets in their outdoor patios, Valley Fair is banning this practice outright.I think management should have taken a softer approach with their pet policy. This Mall has been in San Jose City forever and has always been pet friendly. I would have tried posting signs asking pet owners to clean up after their pets first and maybe even requiring all pets to be contained (i.e., stroller) like at the airports. An outright ban at all Westfield Malls only serves to alienate pet owners (over 57% of Californians own pets) and turn away potential business.“
“Andrew was amazing, not only as a cashier, but as a person in general. He helped us through allergy concerns, brought us our food (which isn't expected at this establishment), and even went above and beyond to help someone who needed jumper cables, asking everyone around, and even going to other nearby places to ask around. On top of that, the food was also amazing.“
“Been a while since I popped in so I manifested my visit using a dream board. Grabbed a carnitas super burrito and was happy with it. Nice and hefty but still pretty affordable at around $13. The salsa verde was killer. Next time I’m gonna check out their al pastor and see if I can buy a bottle of the salsa.Make your dreams come true and visit Freedom Burrito! ??“
“Worked next door, checked around for some Mexican authentic food. This location pulled up. Saw few reviews and they were not so pleasant, I personally like to give a place try. I don’t feel like following what reviews Are writing about bad service bad atmosphere, came in got really good service from the young lady that took our order. She was good at explaining what she had and what I was interested in. We got two shrimp tacos for one order, one order lingua burrito and for another person fries. Everything was fresh and tasted great! We will be back“
“This team is solid. Great service. I like those *happy hour drinks, so I'm often caught at Taco Bell between 2 and 5pm for those.Parking: Just plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchair access, you would have to come through the front, through the parking lot, or through the back, only.“
“Best Taco Bell in the area! With chain restaurants and fast food, you hope to find reliability, especially when you’re tired and hungry or on the go.This location is unlike other Taco Bells! It’s been superior for years. Very clean and calm atmosphere. Always has friendly, hard-working service. The food is never sloppy, but always neatly packed.Hope management is proud of their team.“
“This restaurant was a great little spot to have breakfast before a football game at the Levis stadium. The owner greeted us very welcoming, staff helping and made you feel at home. The restaurant quickly got filled with customers at opening time which indicated to me this location is known food must be good.We ordered a variety of meals everything was good expect for dry lemons but that was okay, definitely recommend stop by on your next trip to Santa Clarita!“
“I ordered the fajita combo plate. The steak and vegetables were tasty and the meal included fresh tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole, a few chips, a little bit of salsa, and a drink. They even added some jalapeños to give it some extra spice. The staff were helpful and nice. The seating was arranged towards one side of the dining area, so there was a fairly wide space between the kitchen area and the tables in the dining area.“
“Puesto never disappoints! Good drinks and amazing food. Our server Masha was outstanding as well. She was very nice and paid attention to our needs. Highly recommend her and the restaurant. Will definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Food is good. Limited vegetarian options though, would love a wider selection.“
