“We hadn't been here since pre-covid, so we were wondering how they'd survived and evolved. Pleased to say they were BETTER than before covid! EVERYTHING was top notch, from the cocktails, service, and all of the food! My whiskey sour and my girlfriend's greyhound cocktails (both up) were both awesome, and made with high quality mixers. I had the french onion soup appetizer, and it was rich and delicious! My 16 ounce prime rib was expensive at $72, but PERFECT in every way...in temperature, seasoning, and quality of cut. To be honest, I had a bit of sticker shock when I first saw the $72 price point, but they absolutely nailed it, so I can't really complain. They really delivered! My girlfriend had the fried chicken sandwich, and she's a bit of a fried chicken sandwich connoisseur, but she also said that they made it to perfection, and she was very happy with it. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the SYV!“
“We never would have known this was here if it wasn't for Yelp. The food was very good as well as the beer and wine selection. The seating isn't great unless your group is very small. There were only 3 people working and the place was packed yet the service was excellent. We will go back.“
“This hidden gem in the valley is worth discovering! From the inviting atmosphere to the delectable, indulgent food and welcoming staff, you'll love the sophisticated yet unpretentious vibe at The Victor. Highly recommend dining outdoors next to the fireplace if the weather permits. With every seat being quite cozy, you can't go wrong. I loved the fresh, raw oysters, and the tri tip was cooked to perfection. The bearnaise was buttery and herbaceous, pairing perfectly with the steak. The pot de creme for dessert was phenomenal as well, chocolatey with a hint of sea salt. Reservations highly recommended here. (Brunch was incredible too!)Vegetarian options: Grilled olive bread, carrot ginger soup, Rajas con crema, bruleed brie, black bean burger are all vegetarian. The stuffed peppers are vegan.Parking: There's a parking lot shared by the hotel and that's where the handicap parking is. There's plenty of street parking as well.Kid-friendliness: Although it's upscale there are plenty of accommodations for kids, including a kids menu and high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible through the courtyard shared with the Genevieve hotel. Wheelchair accessible seating both indoors and out. The bar also has Wheelchair accessible seating at the bar top, which is a huge bonus.“
“We had the pulled pork sliders and artichoke spinach dip. Both of those were really good! ? It was kinda dark in there (bar area) but it's a cool place. The bartender/server was nice, and he kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. We went on a Monday night, so nothing was going on, but we'll be back for sure. Thank you!“
“Really a cute place... Small, friendly, and clean. We both had eggs and sausage with hash. It was all delicious. Cooked perfectly to our request. Hash had chunks of meat, yummy! Reminds us of our fav diner food. Great for locals and visitors.“
“My wife and I found this restaurant after deciding to spend the night in Solvang after hanging out with friends. It was highly recommended from online searches so we decided to try our luck...and were pleasantly surprised by how great the food and overall feel of the restaurant was on a busy Saturday night. Great steaks and with plenty of options for sides and it was all very reasonably priced.“
“My husband and I had our anniversary party there last week. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The manager, Matt P was gracious and easy to work with, the servers were friendly and attentive, the chef was amazing. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. Thank you all!“
“This wonderful restaurant is hiding just off the main street in Solvang. Take a few steps away from the tourist traps and step into some world class cuisine.Kid-friendliness: Too many nice restaurants lack a kids menu, they have good options for kids.“
“This hidden gem is such a gorgeous spot in Buellton! Don't miss it when you visit the Santa Ynez Valley! The cocktails are the best I have had in the Valley and the food is superb. Everything is made with such care and is just delicious. The filet mignon is probably the best I have ever had! The restaurant itself is so picturesque and comfortable and the service is impeccable.Parking: Easy to park right by the restaurant!Kid-friendliness: We normally come for date nights but brought our kids this last visit and they were very accomodating!“
“Two different locals who work at fine establishments in Los Alamos recommended this spot for their "pinsas" (not knowing what that was). We went there and sat by the fireplace ordering exactly that! Wine and Pinsa on our evening date was lovely. We were so glad it was recommended!“
“The ambiance is fantastic, food was excellent from start to finish, and the service was spectacular. Our waiter and the entire team made the experience wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant and most definitely on a special occasion.“
“Stopped in for a quick rest while just passing through and ended up making a night of it. Received such welcoming and attentive service from Jacob I completely forgot I was on my way somewhere else. I don't even drink and I've never felt so welcomed in a bar. Jacob took full creative liberty to make easily the best mocktail I've ever had, and made me feel like a guest in someone's home. Great service, amazing ambiance, way too easy to spend a whole night in here. This will be a necessary stop any time I'm anywhere near solvang. Cant wait to be back!“
“Great food, great wines, impeccable service. When I say "Impeccable" i mean it was top notch attentiveness from the reservation through the bill. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, and the food was excellent. California produce and products of incredible quality prepared competently in a delightful setting. An excellent spot for dinner.“
“Me my mom and my sister came up to solvang for work purposes but wanted to make the most of it because it was a long drive from the I.E.. We found this place and it looks like a whole in the wall but honestly was pretty decent. They have a lot for room. The food was AMAZING. We got the ranchero burger, a Cobb salad, and the ravioli with all 3 sauce choices and just decide to share amongst the 3 of us. It was so good the flavor and everything was so good. But let's talk about the service. Our server very much gave off the vibes like head rushing to order he came by probably about 3 times in like 8 minutes and we were trying to decide what to eat. Next there must have been a server off the clock eating at the restaurant before her shift, I have nothing against as I used to work at a restaurant and did that because it was convenient for me, but she was not only distracting servers from their tables but openly feeding her friends while they were working and it was obvious that their tables needed to be served but they didn't care. It wasn't until the manager walked out and said something did they finally get to work in which the employee who came to eat went behind the counter to clock in. The host were amazing and super nice. Over all it was really good and amazing and we would come here again“
“Had the most fantastic birthday at Alisal! Started with a great bbq the night before, then a hayride to a pancake breakfast in the gorgeous hills, canoeing on the lake, biking, swimming and a fantastic dinner. What a great experience! Thanks to everyone at Alisal Ranch for a memorable and wonderful time!“
“Nice place to sit and enjoy your food. Recommended to visit during evening hours where you can enjoy live music(weekends) and lake view. Have limited menu option but the food is very good. They haveeal.option for kids also. Wonderful place to spend time with your friends and family. #Happymotoring #enjoylife.“
“We've been going here more than 10 years and has been a go to favorite of ours whenever we're in Los Olivos. Love that they've expanded and has outdoor seating available. We prefer to sit by the bar though. The staff is friendly, attentive and very welcoming. The indoor cafe has a cozy but lively vibe. We ordered their beer on tap, Liquid Gravity Brewing Co.- Orange Cream Machine and BarrelHouse West Coast IPA , both outstanding! Also had their Ahi Tostada with avocado and wasabi hash, definitely a shareable plate, really fresh and is a new favorite! Also one of our go to orders, is their focaccia and dipping oil, still as good and haven't changed through the years! Make sure to stop by this place! There are newer places that have opened up around the corner but the Los Olivos Wine Merchant and Cafe is still the best! And by the way did I mention they have an awesome selection of wines? If you prefer wine with your food they also have a tasting flight to choose from!“
“It's inside the Marriott Hotel here in Buellton. They do a great job with a simple menu and great service as well. They do great breakfast also, not sure about lunch, but I do know about dinner too. Good drinks and beers available also.“
“Stopped by for a bite - located conveniently off the 101 and across the street from Anderson's Split pea this cute diner style restaurant has inside seating only- the dining room is decorated with vintage kitchen items from the 1950s and beyond. The wait staff is warm, kind and attentive. We had the club sandwich. It was huge! It comes with fries but I requested a side salad substitute and it was great- homemade croutons, veggies and the salad dressing tasted very fresh. The club sandwich was so huge I took half of it home. It is made the way I like it with lettuce inside each layer of sandwich. Hubby had French Toast made with cinnamon swirl bread. It was delicious and hubby wolfed it down. The portion was also large- maybe 3-4 slices of bread cut in half, dipped in egg, grilled and served hot. Prices were about $15-$20 Per person and parking was easy and plenitful. Only open for breakfast and lunch- they close at 2 PM so plan accordingly. Great place.“
“We played bocce tonight and then went for dinner and drinks in the restaurant. It was a gorgeous night and the patio was very busy! We had a large group which I understand can be more difficult. Eric was AMAZING in getting us sat. He was running all over the place wearing many hats. With how busy he was, he still made us feel seen. He took our order and brought as chips, salsa, fries, and onion rings as an apology. He worked his butt off tonight and it was very apparent how passionate he is about his job and how much he cares about the guest experience. Overall, although we had to wait a bit longer than we would have liked, he personally, along with the rest of the very friendly staff, made sure that we were satisfied and had a fantastic evening!“
“Tried this place out on a trip because we like to try new places and it didn't disappoint. Lots of menu choices, lots of seating, friendly staff, decent prices, and good food! Definitely a step up from fast food with many creative menu choices. I would absolutely go again and its a great place to go with a small group since there was so much seating.Kid-friendliness: Easy and comfortable. Lots of food choices.“
“For those of you who are needing a place to stay locally and visiting Solvang area, this is definitely a place to check out! Found this gem and was staying there a week and have to stay I love how it is located very conveniently off the 101 FWY, have lots of amenities on the property, and the staff go way above and beyond! Love also the fact that they have Sideways Lounge if you want to chill and have a brew as well and they have a nice food truck with homemade sausages. The location is also very strategic as it is just only 5 mins from Solvang and very close to other places like Ojai, Santa Maria, Santa Ynez, etc. I will definitely make this my go-to place!“
“Great spot for lunch and the aebkeskivers are so good!Vegetarian options: Several optionsParking: Public parking lot across the street and fine about 1 blockKid-friendliness: Very kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: A little tight for wheelchairs but accessible“
“WE HAD AN EXCELLENT LUNCH WHILE WE SAT AT THE BAR AND DRANK INCREDIBLEY TASTY STOUTS. THE BEST WE HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. OUR SERVER WAS MARIAH COLEMAN, SHE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE, FANTASTIC PERSONALITY AND VERY HELPFUL IN GIVING US TASTE BEFORE WE ACTUALLY ORDERED A GLASS. ACTUALLY EVERYONE WHO WORKED THERE WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND ATTENTIVE. BUT WE REALLY LIKED MARIAH. SHE WAS AWESOME. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK DOWN TO BUELLTON. CHEERS!!! :)“
“I came here for the chicken pot pie and it didn't disappoint. That along with the Poutine and guacamole bacon burger were all delicious. It was a raining day and the restaurant is welcoming and cozy. The absolute best thing about the experience was the staff. Mikala was AMAZING. As the rain came down more, more people started to come in and all areas of the restaurant had people in them and she never missed a beat. She was alone in the front and there was the cook in the back and together they helped everyone in a timely manner. I was impressed by her calm demeanor and ability to attend to everyone and get the food out and refill drinks. bus tables and still smile the whole time. As busy as it was there was no pressure feeling or rush to leave. I will for sure visit again the next time we are in town.“
“Me and my friends out in solvang for a nightOver to celebrate yours truly for my birthday. We were wondering were to go for dinner. Not realizing most everything closes early. Which we are use to coming from a small town. So we are staying next door at the Corque Hotel. When we walked in, we noticed every table outside had fire...it was beautiful, the atmosphere. The company. The staff were so nice, they even brought me a delicious treat for me bday. Me and my friend order the craft burger with fries and side salad both so delicious. Especially the fries..one of my friends ordered the short rib grilled cheese..omg..amazing. the other ordered the salmon. The flourless chocolate cake, is so delicate and dreamy. The chai tea turamsu..was served in a chocolate edible cup..what the...oh my so creative and yummy to the senses. We also decided to come the following day for lunch...yes that good..come over and try for uour self...Happy hour everyday except holidays..3 to 530. We got burgers again, the only bit i have to say the burgers a bit chard tasting, but they are beautiful to make it better and so they did. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, so delightful. But the main ultimate yummy fest...the sweet and sour cauliflower, can i drop the mic on this...oh my..oh my...$10 happy hour, dinner $17 or 18...its on the pricy side of things, but not to bad..the quality and quanity are worth it...come taste for yourselves...maybe one day ill see u there?“
“I ate onion soup, hot wings, and a burger? The onion soup was a bit salty and the hot wings had a hot sauce flavor base, so I think there will be some opinions. The burger was delicious ?The atmosphere was nice as we ate outside while the sun was shining before sunset.?The servers are also friendly haha.“
“Honestly it's possibly the best food in the valley. Menu changes monthly and each selection was amazing. Chef and owner always makes the rounds and will even take time to join your table and discuss the food, wine and just life in general. This is a must go destination for any foodie.“
