“We came here for dinner and ordered zhajiang mian, another fried noodle dish, and, on the waiter’s recommendation, the salt and pepper fried eggplant. It ended up being our favorite, so we’re really glad he convinced us to try it!

The waiter (also maybe the owner?) is super enthusiastic and loves to suggest dishes you might not have considered. I didn’t find it pushy at all. First, he's running a business and, of course, wants you to explore the menu. Second, he mentioned that if we didn’t like his recommendation, we wouldn’t have to pay. It was actually refreshing, especially since positive, enthusiastic service isn’t what Chinese restaurants are typically known for (as a Chinese person, this is pretty normal to me). I also noticed that he doesn’t pressure people who aren’t interested, so he really knows how to read the room.

This spot is definitely getting added to our regular dinner rotation!“

“Visited Dough Zone on Christmas, and it didn’t disappoint! The restaurant was open and welcoming during the holiday, which was a pleasant surprise. The pork dumplings in chili sauce were absolutely fantastic – the perfect balance of heat and flavor.

“Steamed fish filet with chopped chili was very good. I usually get this dish or similar at most Sichuan or Hunan places I go but this one stood out with the combo of fresh chilis, pickled chili, fresh ginger, strong black/white pepper flavor and (I think) coriander dusted on top. The sauce did something to my mouth that I can't explain, but I'll come back to do more 'research'.“

“Solid food that's centered on a Taiwanese menu but mixed in with a bunch of other Asian cuisines, like Korean Army Stew. They have a super extensive hot pot menu, and the spicy dishes are truly spicy.

Prices are very reasonable and quantities are large. Service is solid too. I'll definitely be coming back!“

Sweet & sour pork had great sauce but meh fake meat, basil eggplant and tofu was excellent, scallion pancakes were crisp and tasty, pot stickers and spring rolls were good, and the vegetable fried rice was truly outstanding. “First I came with my friends. Then I came with my parents and their friends.

This place is so yummy and a hit no matter who you come with.

My favorite to order in order is
1) sweet and sour fried fish
2) sauteed eggplant with fish flavor (idk why it's so good here)
3) house special fish
4) Brown sugar cakes

Everything is good but those are my favorite go to.

The staff are so friendly and kind as well. It's my go to family style restaurant.

Parking: Right in front of the restaurant there's plenty of free parking. I've never had trouble parking here even at peak dinner time on a Saturday night“

“My husband and I love our takeout from here when we are in the area. A bit expensive but you get a good portion of each order. My favorites so far are the baos and dumplings! Pork and chives dumpling or bao are always solid orders, but we recently tried the minced pork & tofu bao and I enjoyed it. The pork, shrimp and chives is also a delicious combo. Not enough meat ratio to tofu but the flavor is good. The dumplings with rice and mushroom inside is also not bad too. Their in-house chili oil has a kick of spice but good with the dumplings. “We arrived for an early dinner at 5:45 PM with easy seating and parking available. Was seated quickly and ordered via QR code. We ordered the Large Old Pot Sauerkraut Fish ($27), which came quickly and was piping hot. Fish was tender, vegetables and other ingredients cooked well, very flavorful. They have varying levels of spice for different palates, but the single chili pepper soup was just right for us. Cheap but authentic Nanjing Cuisine. The duck blood rice noodle soup is a must try. The duck blood is directly imported from China, so as the sausages and bacons.“

this restaurant is the definition of a hidden gem. Knew it was a good restaurant when our friends said that they dined here weekly (and they're from cheng du so they know what's up)

Super clean and stylish restaurant space with prompt service, which complimented the incredible food.

We got three dishes, but their fried coated tofu was mouthwateringly delicious. Each bit gave a crisp texture that collapsed into a juicy savory center that oozed into a beautifully umami sauce. The outside was seasoned too for exploding flavor every single bite. Get it for sure (包浆豆腐). I did not exaggerate how good it was.

I honestly think their hot bowls could be better seasoning wise but I'm not complaining with the amount of portions they served up. Honestly kind of hard to find a place with such a friendly price. Very reasonable indeed.

Overall this restaurant is epic. We're going to be regulars from now on.“

The pork belly and cabbage was completely unlike any other pork belly I've had- instead of crunchy with a sweet sauce, this was melt-in your mouth soft, set off by crunchy cabbage, and with a sharp vinegar based sauce. Fantastic! The Hong Kong noodles with seafood were a treat- I've never had a crunchy noodle dish before, and it set off the seafood well.
