The staff was friendly and the coffee hit the spot. Definitely made my morning smoother, though I might try something different next time; the selection can be a bit overwhelming for a first-timer.”

“The restaurant is lovely, it feels like a small small trataria Italy. The service was perfect, very conscious of the customer's needs. The burrata salad was delicious as was the pizza. The pizzas are cooked, as one would expect in a wood fired stove and are absolutely the best in every way. I want to go back and go through the menu and eat every thing.”

This is the kind of rare customer service that I appreciate, and that is a definite indicator of the quality and professionalism I would have gotten.”

“We took the ferry to Sausalito on a cold, windy day, but there was no way we were skipping Lappert's.

The staff was incredibly patient and kind with our kids as they asked to sample what felt like half the menu before finally making their decisions. They never seemed rushed and made the experience fun for the whole family.

Every flavor we tried was fantastic. Not a single one disappointed. Our son loved his ice cream so much that he went back for seconds, while our daughter and I both happily ended up with two scoops.

When ice cream is this good, the weather doesn't matter. Lappert's was one of the highlights of our day in Sausalito and easily some of the best ice cream we've had. If you're visiting, don't miss it.”

“We had dinner on Saturday night, restaurant was not crowded however we understand that the staff was dealing with take out orders. Service was very slow for our order which seemed pretty straightforward: a soup and padthai. Other guests were served more quickly; people at the next table ordered just before we did, got their food, ate and left beforewe got our food?!? On another note, we were not able to dine on the terrasse since it was a bit chilly and there is only one heater that is broken. Buying more heaters should be made a priority. This said, the food was delicious and tasted very fresh. We all loved it. So highly recommend for the food and maybe ordering as take out, only!”

“Very good pizza in a tiny, almost hidden location right on the boardwalk, near a few other fancier restaurants. Y'know how you just get tired of big, heavy meals on vacation, and just want a single slice of pizza? Get it here.”

But if you gotten lost trying to find the house boats in Sausalito and lucky enough to have stopped in here and purchased a sandwich being made in front of you. You’re very lucky there’s a plethora of handmade sandwiches to choose from, my favorite is the grandma when I walk, and I scream it out and scare the hell help. For which I am truly not sorry :-) great sandwiches give it a try.”

“Cute place but unnavigable due to a slow moving line. I had a chocolate and an ice cream cone: neither were competitive in quality and had tourist trap prices. The staff made this cute place fun. The reason for 4 stars because their competitor that I am familiar with had a ridiculously long line that I saw after I stopped here. In the time crunch I was on, I’m glad I saw this place first.”

“Yesterday, my family and I visited Sausalito, and had a chance to eat in this restaurant. The stuff was professional, attentive, friendly, and helpful. I needed to charge my 5% dying phone, and one of the waitress helped me with that kindly. I really appreciated it! The restaurant is in a good location with an ocean view, and San Francisco on the other side. The day was sunny and beautiful, so all the atmosphere just reminded us about our past trips in Greece. We ordered 3 dishes, a hamburger(including fries), spring salad, and a crab Benedict with baked I believe so potatoes. Everything was delicious, no complaints at all. We spend a good branch time there, and left with full tummies, and good mood! Thank you 😊
1 thing that might bother some people, is that the restaurant is next to the road, and tables are on a pedestrian’s side walk, so if you hate people looking at you, while you eat, you can sit inside.”

“Yesterday, my sister and I had the BEST table at the Iconic Spinnaker Seafood Restaurant in Sausalito - the at table at the far corner facing San Francisco! WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! Thank You Spinnaker for a More Than Memorable Bay Area Experience!!”
