“Great Chinese restaurant if you are looking for lunch specials. The price is reasonable with a great amount of food. If you order their lunch specials, you'll get a soup, salad & eggroll, rice, and your choice of an entree. Enjoy!“

“This restaurant is a gem! Super friendly and helpful service and great choices. We enjoyed catching up with our family while sharing a large room with others surrounded by tasteful decorations. If there were 6 stars, I would have given them!“

“Went here upon reading the reviews. It's not bad, but I was craving more flavor from the dishes. Perhaps I'm used to MSG in my Chinese food and am okay with it.I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops, shrimp with black bean sauce, Mongolian beef, and house fried rice.Overall, not bad, but I am used to stronger flavors.“

“my bf love spicy beef noodles, we went to a few places already but this place tasted the best so far. the texture of the noodles were good and the flavor of the broth wasn't too overwhelming. the golden chicken noodle soup was also very good and light. we got chili oil dumplings and those were amazing.“

“Great dining experience. The interior is large, and clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Plenty of menu selection varying from typical Chinese menu offerings; veggies, seafood, chicken, beef, etc. Menu is very easy to read. Excellent spot for Chinese/Korean dine-in experience. Definitely recommend!“

“So first of all the pork chops are a must soft tender but well crusted and well seasoned outside with jalapeño and garlic just yummy. Another favorite is the mangolian beef cooked to perfection the goes perfect with white rice . I've dined in and the service is ok what i really liked is that all food comes out together and the restaurant feels warm inviting and very family like.“

“Ordered the non-spicy beef noodle soup (hand-cut) and added my own level of heat. Nice broth. Wish I had seen their cold drinks lineup before getting my green tea order from the bakery. Will try their milk green tea next time along with some other dishes (lamb, cold noodles).Nice sitting area shared with the hot deli. Reasonable prices and solid portions. The lady that took my order is nice & served the food to my table. Unexpected and much appreciated!“

“It's difficult to find good vegan and gluten food so when there are options, I'm curious to taste and see if it is any good. I had the beef brócoli substitute the beef for ham and it was good, I enjoyed it. My husband had the shaking beef and he liked it too, he wished it had more of the marinade/sauce. Great customer service!“

“That place was good and food is best. Customers service is best. I wish most place followed their way. The manager only control and seat people take money. He tell the other worker take the order in side. Some place the manger is worker, sometimes he is chief. This place they know their role.“

“Our server was very nice and friendly. Great customer service. We ordered the shrimp with pepper and garlic, shrimp fried rice, egg drop soup, and the Chinese broccoli sautéed in garlic. They were all excellent and were more than enough for the two of us. The place was clean and well organized. The price was commensurate for the portions.“

THE food is made delicious AND has a great tasting & satisfying meal at a reasonable price. They have an app that accumulates points for discounts or freebies. “Americanized Chinese food. It’s honestly pretty good but of course rather expensive for the type of food you’re getting. I also don’t understand why they open up at 11 when they serve dim sum…dim sum is a breakfast food and should be served around breakfast time. So I wish they opened up earlier since this is the only decent soup dumpling place in Long Beach. Overall good place to eat. I take all my friends here“

“Amazing customer service! I made a mistake with my ordering. Totally my fault. But Eric and his manager was so understanding and accommodating. Even at a lost of revenue to them, they were willing and able to fix my problem. Thank you so much! I will be sure to visit if I'm ever in the area!“

“I've been going to this restaurant for nearly 3 decades. This is still our family favorite for traditional Korean style Chinese food. Their Jampong and Jjajangmyun always hit the spot. Their staff has also remained mostly the same since we first started going here. Food is always delicious and consistent.“

“Always a friendly hello upon arrival. The Manager's Special is my Go to favorite. 2 entrees your choice, rice or noodles or I take half and half. Your choice soup hot and sour or egg roll and a can of soda or a. bottle of water. We are talking generous portions. $12 and change. It is easy to split between 2 people or save half for later. The food is delicious. I highly recommend this place for lunch. There is plenty of seating and the place is neat and clean. They open at 10:30 AM Monday to Saturday. If you are in the neighborhood of Cherry and Willow this place is a find. It is in a small strip mall between Starbucks and Black Bear Cafe.Parking: There is parking right in front but also lots of parking behind the Starbucks Food 4 Less adjacent lotWheelchair accessibility: I use a walker and I had a grocery bag hanging on the handle. The door was wide enough for me to enter with no problem.“

“I met my friend here for lunch as it is one of his go-to places for Tawainese/Chinese homestyle food. He ordered us a good amount of things to try - including the Three Cups Chicken, Stinky Tofu, pork spare ribs, Tawainese sausage and buns, and veggies. We had plenty to eat and everything was delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with the food here.“

“This review is for the KUNG PAO CHICKEN and the nice employee. I've lived in the area for over 40 years and... um NEVER been here before! Not exactly sure how long it's been here. There were two Chinese restaurants I frequent and one has gone a little down hill AND is further away from my house and the other closed, so it's time to check out a replacement. I ordered Kung Pao cuz it's one of my husband's favorites and since we don't eat much anymore, we only needed one entree to share. IT WAS DELICIOUS AND HONESTLY THE BEST KING PAO I'VE EVER HAD!! It had the right amount of seasoning and was NOT overly salty. Like some, I'm fine with MSG, so I don't notice it. Also at $17 for one entree, which included enough rice for both of us, we ended up with THREE servings! We both ate it for dinner and I had enough to eat it again for lunch! The kid who helped me was in an exceptionally good mood cuz he had just got his driver's license. LOL I'll be back to try another entree soon!“

“I’ve came here 4 times in a row and the food is consistent. The orange chicken is amazing especially because they give you big chunks of chicken unlike other Chinese restaurants where it’s more breading than chicken. If you are in a rush call ahead or else you’ll be waiting awhile. The kitchen makes as it is order. Good food takes time!“

“I usually avoid Americanized Chinese Foods counters like these because they're always greasy and all you can taste is oil but all the positive reviews got me curious. For this type of fare this is probably one of the best you'll ever have. Everything tasted great and was well seasoned. I was even impressed by the chow mein that you can choose to go with your bowl or combo plate. Delicious enough to eat on its own! When I do go to places like these I will 100% avoid the orange chicken, in fact there are only few Chinese restaurants that I will order it from. But the very sweet lady behind the counter insisted I sample it and I'm so glad she did. It was still delectably crispy and saucy at the same time. Most places don't get that right. I also had the pepper beef and was also blown away at the quality and how well they incorporate that nice peppery bite. Another thing most chinese places don't get right! On top of that the prices are sooo cheap and the portions are hefty. I gotta two item combo and couldn't even finish it so I had a nice snack for later. The lady there is super friendly and enthusiastic about the food. The place is clean and well kept. Awesome food at a great value!“

“Finally tried this new dumpling spot on second street. I had to call and check if they were safe for me due to my peanut allergy and luckily they were very accommodating and able to remove peanuts from any items that had the warning. I really appreciate them accommodating to the allergy since I have noticed a lot of places now don't want to take responsibility and just suggest you not eat there. I am so happy I got to try the food, as we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and had leftovers since they were generous portions. Happy to have this new addition in Belmont shore!“

“Loved the food and atmosphere was really good. I think they serve chinese/korean food here. It was my first time visiting so we had some recommendations from sean ( our waiter) and ordered sweet and sour pork, spicy lamb kebob, beef kebob , and assorted vegetable with glass noodle. Our server came back frequently to check on our table. It was great experience overall. But only downside is that price is little bit too high. Other than that , food and service was excellent.“

“Never been to an All-You-Can-Eat Mongolian place before, but I'm glad I went because I wanted to do multiple rounds!I met the owner, Jeff, and he was a sweet guy giving me a personal breakdown of how it worked and where everything was. So for customer service and friendliness, that was a good start. And as someone who keeps ingredients very simple (ex: not too much sauce or too many different items at once), it still tasted great, and the multiple servings justified the price imo. It's a cozy interior where I think it's great to bring together a small party of possibly 4 - 6 without feeling cramped - which is great for me because any more people would make it hard to have a decent conversation without everyone. They also got ample free parking right in front so it's extremely convenient.Definitely will be back.“

“yummmmmmm! It's a pretty small dining room in a busy shopping center & easy to miss. You'd never expect a Chinese food restaurant to be called "Sullivan" but this place is the real deal. The food was fresh & hot. The veggies were perfectly cooked, seasoned, & crispy. The meat was tender & flavorful. The won ton soup was amazing, full of chicken, shrimp, pork, wontons, & some veggies. The owner is warm & inviting. They were celebrating their 15th anniversary when we went there and had some bonus tasty treats to share with customers & send you home with a bunch. My favorite was a deep fried egglant. The owner said it's hard to make & not on the regular menu. What a treat! We've had great Chinese food at the San Gabriel Valley & it was nice to find a place just as good down here.“

“I was in the area viewing apartments, so I decided to locate a new pho place. This place is spacious, pretty quiet so I enjoyed that. I ordered the steak and brisket pho, I have to start by saying this was the BEST brisket I’ve had in a pho. It was not fatty at all, and super tender but not dry!If you follow me on here, you know the type of pho I like. This one was clean and packed a little flavor. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, but the brisket was unmatched. The noodles were fresh and intact too. — On the downside, I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, but I didn’t like it. I ate one, and they still charged me for it. Not the best customer service I’d prefer, and they asked me about it. So I just thought they’d take care of me. Anyway, I’d go back for the pho if I’m in the area. Also, I want to try the fried rice based off the pics.“

“We got there during Busy Busy lunch time on Sat. We barely sat at the table at the entrance. I was not feeling comfy. The customers passed right our table at the door. No relax this time. We got the menu for special lunch. Small portion w less expensive. We ordered fried dumplings, chicken w lobster sauce, and chicken kungpao. The foods were delivered so fast even thou they had lots of Take out orders. I liked the fried dumplings, Juicy and crunchy. For the chicken kungpao, I give 3 stars, missing something. Spicy but not really flavorful. The chicken pieces are too small, I couldn't taste the chicken. We both liked chicken w lobster sauce, mild, so creamy, soft shrimps w lots of veggies. I give 4 stars. Overall, I was not relaxed due to the corner of the entrance. People and the staff bothered me. However, I want more fried Dumplings. Today's best was fried dumplings.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this spacious Dim Sum restaurant. With its ample seating and numerous tables, it's perfect for gatherings of any size. Good variety of Dim Sum selections as well as regular menu options, each plate bursting with flavor and priced reasonably between $5 to $8. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast or lunch, the service is quick, allowing you to savor your meal without rushing. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is huge, it looked pretty busy all the time. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and would highly recommend it for a satisfying meal any time of day.“
“The place has a very calming vibe to it upon entering. It's peaceful but not oddly quiet. We were waited on right away to take our drink order, which gave us time to decide on the dinner. General tasks for hubby. Very flavorful. I had the chowmein with crispy noodles. Again so flavorful! We'll be back for sure!“

“Came here for dinner and this place satisfied my jjajangmyeon craving! Definitely one of the better places to eat jjajangmyeon from! Their tangsuyuk was solid and their stir fried jjajangmyeon was appetizing. However, it seemed like their jjajang sauce got too salty towards the bottom. It started to remind me of soy sauce rather than jjajang. But it can be a one time thing! Great relaxing place to eat for this kind of food and service was friendly!“

“Stopped in after a bike ride. Good food at an extremely afforable price. What makes this spot a 5 star review is the service. Koi (owner) is so friendly, funny and sweet! “A small local business offering Taiwanese food. The interior is older and aged. The parking directly in front can be a problem but there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center. The staff is nice and friendly. “I ordered the Wor WonTon Soup and I’m so happy I did. I’ve been under the weather and this clear broth with veggies and meat is perfect. The broth flavor is delicate but complex enough to be filling on its own. The wontons are not over cooked nor are any veggies, meat or shrimp ?. Exactly what I was looking for AND at a great price. I also got a BBQ Pork skewer and veggie eggrolls which are also on point. The pork had the flavor of Pork and Seeds - it’d be killer with mustard.I took the dish to go - the soup was clearly made fresh as I waited. It was (is) still perfectly hot now that I’ve reached home and am enjoying it.I even called them to say thanks cuz I was soooo happy. Try it you just might love it ?.The actual atmosphere is nothing special but it is clean and well lit. I’ll be back for their other entrees !Parking: These is a lot right across the street if they don’t have any spots out front open. I did not have trouble parking around 3pm on a Thursday afternoon.“

“First time here, based on high reviews at Yelp. Our friends gathered together for a dinner feast birthday celebration. We had so many delicious dishes! We started with pu pu mixed appetizer platter of ribs, fried wontons, fried shrimp, egg rolls, foil wrapped chicken, etc...very yummy! Then came the sizzling rice soup, fresh Chinese broccoli, duck, beef, lemon chicken, mu shu pork, fried rice, and more. The service was outstanding! The friendly owner was eager to please and made our visit pleasant. Looks like they were busy filling take out orders. Clean and quiet, we enjoyed the warm fellowship/company around the table. Sipping hot tea and singing "happy birthday" (in Eng. and Canto) over a plate of fortune cookies and a lit candle, it really doesn't get any better than this! Thank you, David!“
“Stopped in on a whim, found super friendly employees allowing me to browse, and ended up buying some things even though I knew I couldn't finish it. Due to unfortunate circumstances on the Metro Blue Line, I had to get off at Willow Station and take a bus back to DTLB. There was a 20 minute wait, so as I was walking from the Metro station to the bus stop, I stopped into Rose Donuts and Chinese Fast Food. It's an interesting combination, for sure. I had already eaten lunch, but the donuts looked good, so got 20 donut holes (10 for $2) and a Donut Bar - Chocolate glazed for $1.55...to go. No sales tax for donuts, since they are not considered a prepared food. As suspected, when I got home, I was able to finish the donut...and it was delicious. The donut holes were for the next day, and they were still edible ('m sure it would have been great fresh)..but became too hard by the following night. My bad for ordering too much. As the sign says, they also serve prepared chinese food from a steam tray, and have ice blended smoothies and breakfast and deli sandwiches. Took pictures of the menu and later realized that the chinese food menu doesn't have prices. The turnover of the food on that steam tray didn't seem to be too fast, though just a guess.“

“Fresh Chinese food. Food is constantly replaced from old to new. The don't serve stale food sitting. The food is good plus they give a lot. I ended up having two meals out of one. Additionally we bought donuts. She said she'll be closing in an hour. 8 donuts for the price of a half dozen donut and the owner gave us two extra donuts. A teen asked for free food. They were so nice. They gave the boy what ge wanted to eat for free. How nice! That doesn't happen anymore. I recommend it.“

“You know the restaurant you've passed a million times, but have never gone inside? It's been around for as long as you remember? So it's gotta be good, right? So my friend grew up nearby & her family has always gone across the street. How can two Chinese restaurants survive right across the street from one another? Well, because the food is good. Very good Cantonese style Chinese food. We shared: beef chow fun(dry) Really good. We perhaps have found a good chow fun place since our standby,TG garden has closed. Nice bouncy noodles. Tender beef with great flavor. That's what's missing at most places. The amount of soy sauce, oyster sauce etc. The salt & pepper squid was nice and crispy, not greasy. A thin batter coating. White pepper brought to the table. So I'm guessing the salt & pepper is for the diner to add. Salt & pepper can really be subjective. Same for the salt & pepper pork chop. I added white pepper to my serving. Light batter with green chili slices & green onion. Very good. The sautéed ong choy was very good too. Nice and garlicky. Perhaps a bit too much oil though. Had to ask first containers a few times. But that's classic Chinese restaurant. A friend who is Chinese tells me, you need to be very assertive at Chinese restaurants. Cuz they're very busy, kind of understaffed(?). Be that squeaky wheel. Overall, we're glad we came. We'll be back to our new (old) neighborhood Chinese restaurant.“
