“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.“

“Mulnaengmyeon was much more delicious than nonnaengmyeon. I think it was closer to regular naengmyeon rather than Pyongyang naengmyeon. One order of naengmyeon (naengmyeon) costs almost $20, so I think it's a bit expensive, but since it comes with one sari, it's almost like 1.6 servings. The ribs were delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small. Even though it was a weekday evening, I waited for over an hour to get in. When you're feeling a bit hectic, there's a Yelp waiting line, so be sure to check it out and wait.“

“My friend and I had just finished a hot yoga sesh in the area and wanted something healthy to eat. Lucky me, she found Appu's! We were greeted by Chef VR himself! He made us feel so welcomed and gave us wonderful recommendations since it was our first time. We were not disappointed as the food was sooooo bomb! The vegan mango lassi is his own recipe and I was mind blown how good it was especially being vegan and having no sugar added (besides the fruit). “Been here a few times and honestly, for the price, it's a great place to go to when you're craving pho. We usually get the beef steak for $8.89 or the chicken bowl for $7.87, which is honestly a steal in this economy! Bowl upgrades are only $3 more, which I say is totally worth it. The pho tastes so clean and with a deep flavor. Personally, I think the pho is very worth it for it's price; I can't get enough of it. In addition, the service is phenomenal. “While visiting Disneyland, I searched for and visited a Vietnamese restaurant.Located next to a shopping mall with Korean restaurants, about 20 minutes away by car.Parking is convenient and very friendly.The food prices are reasonable and above all, the portions are very large.I ordered large and had a lot left over, but ordering regular would still be enough.I recommend the rib rice noodles.Be careful because mix includes crucibles and parts.The taste of the rice noodles is pretty good, but the sweetness is quite strong, perhaps because of the American style.It would be nice to eat it once in a while when you get tired of American food.You can choose between thin and thick noodles.“

“I had Tabu Shabu saved for a long time because I wanted to try it and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I came here on a Friday night and our server Kathy's customer service was just amazing. “The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“

“I dined in this past Friday and place was good. Mostly, the service and food was on point. I was exceptionally impressed with the service. The server that took care of us was very attentive. She took our order and checked up on us promptly. I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during my meal, and even then, she immediately got me a new pair of chopsticks. I believe that taste is most important for a restaurant, but service must be matched to the qualify of good to have a complete experience. This restaurant offered great food and service. The only thing i'd complain about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The utensils weren't very clean and had tiny debris on them (probably food particles that weren't washed out) and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant wasn't up to par with food and service.“

They have robots to deliver your items so it cuts the work for the servers because they have a lot of tables to wait. For was delicious. Me and my cousin got the combo with an entree plus soup and rice. Both items can be customized how spicy or non spicy you like it. The rice in the clay pot was so good, bc the bottom crisp up! “As we landed ANA(Santa Ana Airport), first thing we craved was the Korean food. I managed to use Google maps to search for nearby Korean food, but Soondae(Korean Sausage) caught my attention first. It really wasn’t only the review score, but the awareness level of this place from the locals.It’s conveniently located in H Mart (Korean Supermarket), but it’s well known for making its own Soondae and Jokbal. There are more than 3 options for the size offering and it will fit whether you visit as a solo or with big family.Soondae, not only was it fresh, but its Gan(Liver) was also very fresh! (Talk about being moisty instead of the usual ‘dry’ ones you come across)All the side dishes (Lettuce, Jalapeño, Garlics) were on points and the staff were readily available on spot to re-fill at any given time.I highly recommend for those who have love for Jokbal and Soondae, but also those who are seeking for a new Korean food/menu to try out.“

We really like it. Seasonal? Maybe. Exceptional could include the Doenjang soup/chigae, which we all agree is maybe the best we have tried in years. It is a treat. Many regard this dish, served elsewhere, as a pedestrian food, ordinary and a staple, but here it is elevated. The Chunggukjang is a more rustic version of the Doenjang soup/chigae, and it is very delicious. For the uninitiated, this is a stew made from something like (Japanese) natto, and it isn't great for a hot day, but rather, awesome for cold weather dining. Delicious, not for the delicate. In sum, this is a mom-and-pop style place, not some corporate chain, exactly the kind of place we like to support. People in the area who seek good homestyle Korean food will know this place and appreciate what they do here.“

“Been coming here consistently for awhile now because they make one of the greatest Thai food I've had so far, it is very comparable to the food in Thailand. I always get the same thing here, pad thai and papaya salad because it has such an addicting taste. The pad thai is very saucy and flavorful, while the papaya salad is fresh and light. You are able to adjust the spice levels from 1-10 if you either like it mild or really spicy. Service here is wonderful and the times that I've always come is never busy plus their food comes out pretty quick.“

I love the broth and it's probably one of the best I've ever tasted so far. The spring rolls were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the peanut sauce, but it wasn't terrible. And the Thai tea tasted pretty good! It was a little pricey, more than i had hoped to spend, but mostly worth it when im dying from a cold and want pho lol. “Another place I go to regularly and somehow never reviewed. This little place is the definition of a hole in the wall with fantastic home-made tasting food. The kimchi stew tastes as good as the ones my friends' moms make. They always use very ripe kimchi. Their dumpling soup is also very good with broth that actually has flavor. Their meats are all well marinated and the stone pot bi bim bap is awesome! They also give you tons of side dishes. Their prices are also much lower than most of the places nearby. The Aunties don't speak a lot of English but they're always so kind. Love this place. **Tip: if you prefer white rice make sure to ask or they'll automatically give you the rice with stuff like beans.“

Normally, my husband and I would prefer to go to LB Thai, but when we don't want to make that drive, we go here. The broth for the Thai Boat is always thick, rich, and full of flavor. I wasn't a big fan of their Hainan Chicken, which they only serve on certain days, but their Rad Na was pretty good. Super saucy with their gravy, but flavorful, nonethless. The pricing is pretty steep here for the serving size that you get. I felt like my plate of Rad Na didn't have too many noodles as I'd normally get elsewhere, but it felt like more veggies instead. I didn't really feel full after my meal, but it was fine. I wasn't trying to feel super stuffed either, I guess. But this is the place you want to go in the north for Thai Boat cravings. “Love this place. Delicious Korean BBQ and all you can eat banchan, or side dishes. It is a great place for a Combo lunch or dinner. You choose a meat/entree and a type of tofu soup which is delicious! I ordered the Spicy Chicken and Beef Galbi. I also chose the Seafood Tofu soup, Spicy. They ask if you want mild, medium, spicy, etc. Spicy was perfect, not too spicy at all.“

“This is my go-to AYCE KBBQ spot for several reasons. It’s generally affordable for the high quality of meat. It’s not ~super high quality but I would say it’s on the higher end for an AYCE spot. They also have beef tongue, galbi, and intestines which I consider more premium items. It gets pretty busy so I would suggest putting your party’s name on the Yelp list 1-2 hours ahead of time.My only complaint is the terrible customer service. It feels pretty understaffed which causes the employees to be spread to thin / overworked. Our server takes forever to check back in with us which is not ideal for a KBBQ place where you need to order stuff frequently. Sometimes there are employees who I feel like do the bare minimum and seem like they don’t enjoy working there (don’t smile and are not very friendly).Again, this is a great kbbq spot in general but it can get very busy and service can use improvement.“

“I visited during lunch time and had spicy pork combo (about $20), and the portion is great! My husband ordered a cold noodle(물냉면) & dumpling combo (about $25). Spicy pork was a bit salty for me, but i assume most people would like it (as i prefer to make my own food less salty and greasy at home.) Overall it was great. Love their dumpling, and cold noodles. I wish they offer mode side dishes though. They only have two kinds of kimchi (배추김치 & 깍두기) and steamed cabbage.“

“Dine was so good. I came with some friends and ordered a bunch of things on their menu. We ordered gamjatang, sliced smoked duck, steamed egg, seafood pancake, dolsot bibimbap, and their bossam. Everything was so good and seasoned very well. We came here randomly because we were craving Korean food but definitely satisfied our cravings. “We ordered both the first and second pho on the menu. The difference between them was just the size. The first one was huge and the second one was smaller but still filling. The pho was delicious and they gave us many beef slices. I was so thirsty when I got there but they charge for water so I ordered the lemon soda instead. I was worried that it would be super sweet and taste very artificial but it wasn’t, it was actually pretty good. My friend ordered the passion fruit drink and I thought it was a bit too sweet. Overall, it was really good and I would love to try their other food.“

“I like the big portion of this restaurant. I went 2 people so we ordered 2 dishes. We tried: 1. Pork Back Bone Stew: very huge portion. The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. “I never tried pho here but only order pho satay. I just had to give some comments. First pho satay here is good. I order from here and the one at Torrance. The Philippino guy who married the wife there is nice. Anyways, March 28, I ordered two pho satay and asked if I can I can sample pho soup. I tip generous here even though I'm not eating here. She said, you can't try since you don't order it. She said it in a rude way. Probably not going to come here again because of that. Pretty sure she's the owner or related to the owner.I'll just order from the sister side restaurant instead.“
