“We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up.Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating.We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!“

“I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“

“I am devoted to a different Thai restaurant but decided to give this place a shot because it was closer to us, and we were hungry. Wow, I'm so glad we chose this place over our usual spot because this place is amazing. It was so good we ordered it as take out the following night. The pumpkin curry shrimp is to die for. The squash/pumpkin is sooooo soft. The flavor of the curry is unreal, and the shrimp are a good size. The crying tiger was cooked to perfection, and the sauce that comes with it is so delicious. The chow mein noodles were also good, I do wish there was more in the order. The coconut shrimp appetizer was so crunchy, and the shrimp on the inside was cooked perfectly. As mentioned, we had this two nights in a row. Obviously, the best choice is dining in, but even take out it was still really good. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed“

“Love this place! It's my go-to Thai spot to order from. I've never eaten in the actual restaurant, but it's an intimate little place with music paraphernalia on the walls. Whether I'm picking up or ordering delivery, my food's already ready within 20-30 mins.My go-to entrees are the Green Curry (SO good) or the Pad See Ew (classic and tastes great with some sriracha), but my fave standout is their Curry Dumpling appetizer; the chicken dumplings are tasty on their own, but when they're covered in that creamy red curry sauce?? So good. Get it. You'll be glad you did. TIP: you're going to have to find street parking if you're eating in.“

“I've never really been a huge fan of pho until my friend introduced me to this place! I got the beef pho and it was filled with so much flavor and meat. The meat was so thin it melted in your mouth. I love bean sprouts and they were not shy about adding so much on the side! The restaurant is clean and plenty of seating. It is connected to the liquor store next door (thought that was cool). The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I will be coming back for a good bowl of pho!“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. “Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“

“I have tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area in an attempt to find the best curry. Today I chose takeout for my first visit to Sri Siam Cafe. You'll be glad to know the place is tidy which is a plus (I usually order takeout to avoid unsightly decor so it doesn't cloud my judgement.) Upon entering, I was greeted by a server and cashier but I already know what I wanted after seeing review photos on yelp. I ordered the Green Curry/Soft Shell Crab dish and a side of rice. My jaw dropped at the $30 price point but I had already made up my mind. I could have easily switched it to the curry w/crispy pork for far less. My initial reaction opening my bag was that the curry serving was not big enough and I had my fingers crossed that there were at LEAST 2 crabs in the lunch size box so I wouldn't have to throw a food fit! To my surprise the box was PACKED with crispy crab pieces! I already had about 5 pieces before i took the picture and the curry tub was full. Super tasty seasoning on the meat too! Just wish I had some vinegar dipping sauce. 5/5 would come back!“

Overall, sauce was great, chicken was nice and tender and perfect considering it's a Hainan Style dish. Rice was nice and firm, you could taste the chicken fat in every bite of the rice. (Extremely recommended to pour sauce over the chicken.) 10/10.Service: Not much to say about service, this place is kind of a small neighborhood type of restaurant. “Loved this place! Super fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Ordered the Nam Tok Salad, the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Isaan Larb Kua. Everything was really tasty and the server was great about explaining the spice levels. The Nam Tok and the Isaan Larb Kua were especially delicious because of the use of lime juice -- that tangyness paired with the spiciness and the savoriness in both dishes was a winning combo. In terms of spice level, I'd say that I usually like spicy food and handle it well, and the Medium was just right. There are additional chili sauces available if you want to dial it up a little bit. Very generous portions and I was honestly quite stuffed. The price is also ridiculously low and I have to say this is one of the most amazing value Thai places I've ever been too -- the pad kee mow was $12.99 for the chicken version!! They were making pickled chilis on one of the side tables, which is one sign you know this place is legit -- when they make their sauces and condiments from scratch, by hand. Really looking forward to my next visit here.“

“We’ve been to many, many Thai restaurants in LA and this one is about to become our favorite! We had 3 dishes and they all were absolutely delicious. The satay chicken appetizer was the best one we ever had. You gotta try it. “BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! “The most authentic Thai restaurant we have found in LA! Very close to what you'll experience in Thailand. We ordered the Som Tum, Tom Yum soup, pumpkin curry, Pad Thai, Eggplant, Hot Basil with tofu (probably a bit more plain than we expected), Pad Woon Sen (most SoCal Thai restaurants botch it, but Chao Krung Thai masterfully presented a perfect, dry, fried version) and mango sticky rice. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Among the cons are difficult parking, slow service and very dark interior.“
