“This little restaurant situated in the corner of a strip mall is an absolute revelation. It's an unbelievable addition to the area and a must try. We started by ordering a tray of their chipotle chicken fettuccine. It will ruin you for all other places that offer a version of chicken fettuccine. It's beyond good. The chipotle sauce is creamy and has a nice subtle kick. The chicken is grilled perfectly and yet stays moist. The pasta itself has the perfect bite to it. I can't say enough. It's that good. Next up we tried the Italian chopped salad. The salad had no business being that good. I hate salads and this salad converted me instantly. The greens were crispy and fresh and the dressing was to die for. This is one salad you will not regret ordering. We came back the next day and ordered the lasagna. This lasagna does not belong in a restaurant without Michelin stars. It was layer upon layer of cheesy awesomeness with a delicate marinara sauce in between. I can't wait for the day where you can taste pictures because this lasagna blew our mind. We are fat boys so we had to give the Meat Lovers pizza a try. There are no words. The dough has a perfect texture and the cheese melts so good. The toppings were generous and you had a bite of something meaty in every bite. Last, but not least, the bread. We tried the regular bread rolls but there was nothing regular about them. Absolutely fluffy pillows of goodness that were good by themselves or great with any of our pasta dishes. We also had the garlic bread which was maybe the only pedestrian thing about our meal. I prefer my garlic bread a bit more buttered but held up well to the sauces. Finally, the bruschetta. Crispy toast with the freshest tomatoes and dressing. A must have if you have the room. Don't sleep on this spot. It's worth the visit from literally anywhere.“

“Hubby and I usually go to the Van Nuys location but we’ve been anxiously awaiting for this one to open. It didn’t disappoint. Hubby had the Murrieta Milkshake and I had the Orange Shandy. Their Caesar salad and Hot Italian Pizza was delicious. So happy this one’s in our neighborhood. Hope they rock it out of the park!“

“Best and most authentic (I believe) Italian food I’ve had in a while! We followed all of the owner’s, Fabrizio’s (from Napoli), recommendations.Appetizer: started with the focaccia board, which included honey, caramelized pears, prosciutto, some other meat, and of course focaccia. It was the most unique appetizer I’ve had and so delicious!Main dish: we had salmone al limone, which had vegetables and mashed potatoes on the side. With the salmon cooked medium and the white wine sauce with lemon juice, it was all so delightful and quite possibly the best tasting salmon I have ever had.Pasta: we had genovese sauce (beef shoulder stewed with minced onions, basil, etc. stewed for 48 hours) with fresh pappardelle pasta. Very rich and delicious!Dessert: we finished with an affogato and was offered to try some dessert wine, Italian moscato with mint leaves on top. The espresso was so flavorful. On top of the food, service was great with Fabrizio, Claude the waiter, and a third waiter. All staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We chose sit outside because it was actually quieter and we wanted the fresh air. They were nice enough to ask if we wanted the heater turned on. Everything was perfect - food, staff, and ambience. We have found our new favorite local Italian restaurant!“

“This place was amazing. We came it with a group of 10, and we got set up with a table right away. They got our orders quickly, and then appetizers and food came out just as quick. However, the food was probably the best Korean fried chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce flavors were delicious, chicken was crunchy. Definitely have to try Korean BBQ , Lemon Pepper (dry), and the Sweet Chili Wings. Even the Bulgogi Pizza was great. Great little hole in the wall spot. Will have to come backWheelchair accessibility: It's a dive in location off the strip of the downtown location. Entrance is level with sidewalk, so wheelchair can roll right it, and there are a couple tables that can be set up with wheelchair seating. I can not vouch for the restroom as I did not check.“

“Those of us who like pizza... have to visit and try these unique delicacies. They have 25 pizzas on the menu. We have 6, we are missing 19. The place is small. They don't sell beers but it's worth it. 2 locations passage to and San Fernando.“
“This is one of my favorite pizza places now. The photo gallery in their website totally does the pizza justice. It is as good as it photographs! I never had Detroit-style pizza. I don't take part in the Great Pizza Debate with regional styles vying for Best Pizza Ever. Pizza is either good or it's average. The flavors and textures between cheese, crust and sauce are either balanced and each component delicious, or the magic just doesn't happen. Whenever I try thick, rectangular pizza slices I'm always disappointed in either sauce, cheese, or crust. I always hoped that pizza would taste like these slices. This pizza is the paradigm of what a thick square slice of pizza should be-- a sauce that is deliciously balanced between sweet, tangy, and savory-- the perfect intermediary between cheese and carbs. Speaking of carbs, a nice thick crust, just doughy enough to feel your teeth sink into, but with the edges perfectly carmelized to support the slice as it makes its way to your pizza pie-hole. The cheese was-- well, cheese, but cheese that goes all the way to the edge of the crust, caramelized to a deep golden brown against the pie pan. On this maiden visit, we tried both the Margherita and the Biggio. The Biggio is their version of a meat lover's pizza-- pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, and bacon. The ham and bacon, however, lent a smoky flavor -- almost too barbecue-ish -- for a non-bbq pizza. I know this is Detroit pizza but it was almost a little too un-Italian to us. The Margherita pizza, on the other hand, was crave-worthy. The cheese, sauce, and crust converged into a balance of flavor -- sweet, savory, and tangy, as well as texture -- doughy, crispy, the cheesy stretchiness, the caramelized edges.... I thought this slice was pizza, pure and simple, delicious in its simplicity. Even the tomato slices seemed to be cut the right thickness. I got ours to-go and tried calling ahead-- several times. No go, so I had to order when I got there. The pizzaria (suite #203) lives on the second floor of a two story mini-mall, overlooking the street-side dining lanes on Colorado. The parking lot is also on the second floor which is convenient, the entrance of which is on Mentor, just south of Colorado. Our order took 20 minutes to prepare-- well worth the wait. We also ordered a Caesar salad. Their Caesar was a mix of iceberg and romaine and was fine. Just know that their Caesar salads are tossed-- a dealbreaker for some if you're not into lifeless salads. Just remember this if you're ordering to-go and have to drive a ways before digging in. There is no soda fountain in the restaurant. Beverages are canned. After trying their pizza I appreciate this. I also liked how their menu is simple-- there are just two salads offered and most importantly their pizza, but really, their pizza is all you'll really need. Detroit or otherwise, it's just really good pizza.“

“I’ve been a diehard loyalist to the Arts District Pizzanista, and it’s still so odd to me that they opened one in sleepy San Marino, but no complaints from me! The slices are the same taste and quality as their AD counterpart, and the vibe is as chill as the area that it’s in. It’s a must for a casual lunch if you’re in the area.“

“While looking for a nearby pizza spot, Alitalia Pizzeria came up on our Yelp search. Their Pizza By the Slice option was very appealing so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. The location itself was on the small side. A bench and a few chairs for waiting but not a table to sit down to eat. Unfortunately when we got here they said the Pizza by the Slice option was only available until 4pm. That's fine but I wish they depicted it better on the menu. Had we known that wasn't an option in the evening, we would have called in our order instead of waiting around for a pizza to get made from scratch. I think we already had our stomachs set on the pepperoni so we decided to get their medium Pepperoni Pizza ($16.45). Then for the waiting that could have been avoided. It felt like forever. The one nice thing is they let you grab as much parmesan cheese and chili flakes as you want. The interesting thing is that their sign said they close at 8pm on Sundays but they closed up as soon as we left slightly after 7pm. In retrospect we were contemplating what else we should have gotten or even their half and half option. But not having the pizza by the slice thing and more labelling of such really threw me off. Anyways as to the pizza, my boyfriend thought the crust could have been thinner. I felt like it was oily. I was blotching the pizza like teenage oily acne skin. We both felt like we might be back for the pizza by the slice deal but we aren't in a hurry to try their full pizzas. The cost is high and the satisfaction isn't all the way there.“

“Typically love outdoor dining but we made dinner reservations a week in advance and arrived on time, and we were still placed outside in the tent even asking for an indoor seat. There were at least 4/5 tables empty that we could see that could seat our party of 5 but we were denied those seats and said we would have to wait 45min for those tables. Since we had little kids and we're celebrating a birthday, we didn't want to take too long. So we were stuck outside in the rain and cold (they had space heaters but unfortunately our table was not under one so we ate in our heavy coats/jackets) After dinner we skipped the desserts bc we were too cold and uncomfortable to stay around any longer.“

“Got some wings, salad, and pizza from here (half and half). Me and my wife split a meat lovers and supreme and it was pretty damn good. The corners were nice and crispy, the salad was big and had alot of toppings, and the wings were fire. Definitely enough for a family of four but we just kept for leftovers. I would return if I was in the area.“

“Great little pizza place with fast lunch service. Pizza was good, price was right, and the store is clean. They accidentally overcharged me by $0.50, which they realized when they gave me my slices, and immediately offered a cash refund. No need since they deserved that as additional tip.“

“It is rare that I will say food is amazing from an Italian Restaurant, but Tardino Brothers makes the grade. Let me just say, I'm a semi-regular here and the food is AMAZING. “Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.“

“I have gotten delivery twice now. The food was delicious both times. I got the wood works pizza, no ham. The crust was perfect, just the right amount of sauce, very generous with the toppings. My husband had tried the calzone, Greek salad (the large could be a side for 4 people) and the lasagna. The salad was very fresh and had plenty of toppings, calzone was one of the best he's ever had, and the lasagna was excellent ?. Highly recommend!“

“The pizza and fries are soo good! And service as well, we wandered in close to closing last night (had an event nearby) not knowing they closed at 8, but we still felt welcomed and the younger blonde guy at register did an excellent job. We had a Hawaiian type pizza with dried pineapple, which sounds weird but was SO good! And fries with their garlic sauce, I'd go back for those two items for sure. We also had a supreme pizza that was delicious as well. Also, tried their freshly made lime guava lemonade, we loved it. Wish we lived closer, would be there more often!“

“Ordered Large size pizza in 2-different flavors: Meat Lovers & Supreme. Actually it’s not much of diff in b-tween, except bell peppers, onions n mushroom, olives in Supreme. I prefer the Supreme w/ some moist juicy tasty bites from the veggies.Overall the topping is fresh which bring out a good flavor to it. Pizza dough itself is a bit too soft more like a bread, as I prefer a little more chewy texture. It’s 3.8.This is my very 1st time trying out based on my pizza searching when this local hole n wall spot pup up w/ a high rating score. It doesn’t even look like this business is open, as all the windows are closed, even it’s hard to find the entrance when there’s no Open sign.Cashier guy is not so friendly nor attentive. “It was my first time coming here, and I had the 12" pizza with pepperoni. The crust was my favorite part. It was crunchy and soft at the same time. The cheese was a bit too chewy for my taste. But I really enjoyed it as a whole. I'd say it's a bit pricey, but compared to other pizza places, it's worth it and fresh. My boyfriend reay likes the Fettuccine Alfredo, it's his favorite. Took about 20 minutes for us to receive our food. They offer take out but only until 9pm.“

“Pizza is delicious ? kinda thin with a thick fluffy crust. Service is good they just need someone to stand in the front at all times they get so busy everyone is putting in their fair share so it's understandable that sometimes you might have to wait a min or two to order a refill or something extra but they are always nice and friendly. As for atmosphere I liked it more when it was darker inside but that's just personal taste“
“This place is very cool. Aside from the somewhat kitschy "secret" entrance (which was probably much more "in" 10 year ago), they really do create a unique cocktail experience. From the creative menus, perfectly balanced drinks, glass where, and presentation--they really have it dialed in. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. And even the food menu, despite being somewhat limited, left us very happy. Definitely not a weekly hangout, but worth discovering for yourself.“

“The pizza is amazing. Salads are OK. The wait staff is young... and often more interested in socializing with each other than taking care of customers. On my last visit our waiter forgot a number of things. Including to put our order in with the kitchen. We ended up being there for almost two hours. And no one apologized.“

“I had not had Angelo's pizza in decades, so I thought I would see if it was still as good as I remembered. I ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeño pizza to go. It was ready when they said it would be, and a little on the high side as far as price is concerned. But it was worth it, it was a totally delicious pie. Everything was on point, the crust, sauce, and toppings. My only gripe is that they open the box to show you if it was what you ordered. Yeah, let all the heat out so it can be cold when I get home. I cannot stand when shops do that. If you've been in business for over 50 years, you should have a better method of getting an order right. Overall, outstanding pizza ?.“

“Came in on Saturday for a quick and simple bday dinner. Turns out our server Kaitlynn made it exceptional with her professional and friendly service!! It was a pretty busy Saturday around 9:40pm and the majority of the restaurant were seated with customers. Kaitlynn still went to all her tables and greet/check on all her customers. She came over apologizing for such a wait and got our orders. We ordered our usual, Avacado Egg Roll, Couscous Mac and Cheese Balls, Prime Rib, Clam Chowder, Strawberry Dream and etc. As soon as we finished ordering, our soup and drink had already arrived. I never experienced such speedy service at any other BJ's before. However, as we were finishing our soup, our Prime Rib dinner came before our appertizer (which was confusing but we were hungry and didn't care anyways!) Later, as we were finishing our Prime Rib, our appertizer came at the same time Kaitlynn came and checked on us. She noticed that our steak came before the appertizer and apologized for the service but we understand that it wasn't her fault anyways. It wasn't a big deal to us anyways as long as we get the foods we ordered. Later we got the famous pizookies and we got both the salted caramel and chocolate chunk. They were both amazing. Kaitlynn lighted a cute candle as she wishes me a happy birthday! At the end, she also wrote a happy birtdhay on my receipt!!I can't express how Kaitlynn made my day so much better with her cute, friendly and professional service!! She is one of the best server I had experienced at any BJ restaurant!! She pays attention to her guests and noticed all the little details! I rather drive a bit longer to have such an amazing experience than to save on commute time!! Again, thank you Kaitlynn for such an amazing experience!!Parking: Plenty of parking available“

“The food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. “I have been a customer of Follieros since it was a smaller establishment down the street. (Like since 1975?) Some of it may be nostalgia for me, but I love everything about this place. The pizza has just the right texture and a tiny hint of sweetness to the dough. Sauce is amazing and love thier pepperoni and great mozzarella cheese. My hubby always gets lasagna and it is also awesome. Can't beat the prices, too. Lasagna is only $10.50 WHAT? We eat here for two of us around $30 including the tip... and it's quality food. If I lived closer, I'd eat here every day. Maybe its a good thing for me, I don't live closer, so I dont gain too much weight...??lol... oh and by the way if you go, order a Strawberry..(soda) a tradition and I can't eat here without it.Parking: This area has a lot in the back, but it seems like it's usually full. “This is the second time that I have eaten here and on my second visit I was blown away. After going to RT Rodgers Breweries 6th Anniversary I came in for a slice of pizza. Last time I had their NY style pepperoni but I was happy to see a whole Detroit style pepperoni which I had to order and order I did. I ate it there and happily waited for about 10 minutes as they heat up my slice. When my slice was ready it looked delicious. Lifting my slice up to my mouth I bit into it. The crust was airy, the rim was crispy and the pepperoni was great and not greasy. The sauce on top was over ther top and had a subtle tomato sweetness that complained the whole slice. The next time I come here I will definitely be ordering a whole Detroit pepperoni.“
