“This used to be the best restaurant in the area, but ever since Maria took over it is one of my favorite restaurants PERIOD. I used to love the burgers so was glad to see them stay on the menu and wasn’t interested in trying the Mexican food. But when I finally did I never looked back. Carnitas are my favorite and the rice and beans are maybe the best I’ve ever had. Also, everyone on staff is super nice. Love this place“

“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.“

“Enjoyed a late lunch here on our drive back from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. Didn't get to try their Lobster Bisque since they were out (Friday ~2pm), but our daughter loved their clam chowder. The Baked Brie was so delicious - served with warm bread, dried fruit, grilled onions and truffles. It was gone within a few minutes! For our mains, the crab cake sliders were fine, nothing spectacular. But their Salmon Salad was a hit! The salmon was cooked just right, not too dry, with a lightly sweet, refreshing dressing. I wish I could bottle up the dressing and take it home! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in town again.“

“One of our favorite spots! A varied menu that has options for everyone. We have tried many things and each dish has been very good. Pasta, steak, meatloaf, cheeseburger, fish and chips. Tops in our opinion are the French fries, ribs and the deep fried prime rib. On our most recent visit, we arrived later than we planned, (had to replace our kitchen faucet) so there was only 15 minutes until posted closing time, the restaurant was empty, but the staff (Abby is the best!) was very kind and welcoming to us providing top notch service, despite the late hour. The food was great as always, we each had a mid-week special ($15 each for the meatloaf, spaghetti w/meatball, cheeseburger or fish n'chips) The coffee is great, when we've had dessert they're good, but rarely have room, as the meals are generous. Lastly, the restrooms are clean, fresh and..... have heated toilet seats!“

“We stopped for a quick lunch. We chose to sit outside. The food was great! We all had salads. I had the steak salad, which was awesome! Apparently, they are going to have live music on Wednesday afternoons for Happy Hour. Plan to go back and check it out.“

“Cute pub atmosphere - food is carefully prepared with attention to detail. My lamb burger came out a little too red for my liking (I don't think I communicated very well that I wanted it rather well done not at all pink) and rather than just cook it more they brought me a whole new order. It was delicious! Fries are super crispy, well seasoned and everything is very fresh. We had a wonderful lunch! Wait staff very attentive but did not hover. Excellent all over experience.“

“This was a fun place to have dinner and drinks. It is festive and we felt like Hobbits in a tavern. The food and drinks was delicious. We had the cheese fondue - it is pricey but was good and worth trying once. The entrees were all delicious especially the corned beef pie. We did the Mead sampler and it was yummy as well. We will definetely go again.“

“A beautiful restaurant in downtown Placerville, California. Great atmosphere, excellent service and, for the most part, really good food. The one-star deduction is because I think that a great Mexican restaurant should have great salsa. Cascada's salsa is really bland with zero spice. Tip: if you ask, they will provide some habanero sauce that you can add to the salsa. Careful ... it's really hot, but it does improve the salsa.“

“The food here is absolutely amazing!!!!! I had lemon thyme risotto with Scallops, my husband the Salmon. We had calamari for appetizer, and banana foster for dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly. The scallops were so tender and fresh. The ambience was nice, and I thought the drink selection was great. They do have kids menus if you want to bring your kids. It's probably the best food we have had in a while. Service was spot on. I highly recommend going here. It is a gem in the middle of nowhere, lol.“
