“Finally stopped into Saluti Cellars after passing by so many years and boy are we sad we didn't stop here sooner! The grounds are one of the most well kept wineries that we have been to. Clint was amazing and very attentive to my husband, 2 children and I. We brought our dog and she was welcomed with open arms by Zoe, Zeus, Cosmo and Clint's pup Breaker. Randi was extremely welcoming and made sure we seen all the animals. Our daughter loved the horses and I loved the hylands. We feel in love and become members. Already can't wait to come back and bring the rest of our family and friends. Having a glass of wine and walking around was serene and what we call a perfect day. We could have stayed here all day if it wasn't for our little one. To top off the people and the vines the wine was amazing. The Syrah was our favorite!“

“John and his staff serve lunch that is locally sourced and organic. There's always a line to order, but well worth the wait. The elk burger is awesome. John and his staff are gracious and skilled. It's like coming home to family every time I walk in.“

“Stop here after a round of golf, and I must say the pepperoni pizza was absolutely the bomb. The crust was just the way I like it, not too crispy and not too chewy! The amount of sauce, and the flavor was perfect!. This was by far one of the best pizzas I've had from this area in a long time. outstanding pie and I highly recommend it. Craig Pizza.!“

“This local restaurant is definitely a great choice. We went here for lunch on Saturday. Our group ordered the fukomaki and California roll, bento A And tonkatsu. The bento was teriyaki chicken, fried gyoza, and tempura. The futomaki was good and the California roll was well filled with real crab meat. The tonkatsu was a large piece of pork and well cooked and crispy. It also came with Some great tasting miso soup. The teriyaki chicken was well cooked and the sauce was ok. The gyoza was well seasoned and crisp the tempura was Crispy and not greasy. We enjoyed the food and will definitely make this our go to place while visiting pollock pines. Only got pictures of the sushi. The food was sooo good, I forgot to get pictures. Our server was nice and let us make some changes. The restaurant was clean and quaint.“
“Excellent and welcoming staff. Lisa is very hospitalible and set up the outdoor firepit for us right away and bring us some wine for tasting. We ordered roasted squash, spinach and almond salad with bacon dressing, and a chicken artichoke cheese flatbread. Food tastes great. The flatbread was crispy and warm but a little burnt at the bottom. Lisa keeps checking on us to pour the wine and bringing us hot water and water in addition to the wine flight. She is very attentive and informative; we learned much about their winery and the wines we were sampling. Their. cute little dog is also very friendly and welcoming; keep wanting to play with us. We shall return and try their other wines.“
“Greatly enjoyed our tasting at this winery. I am a sucker for Sangioviese so this was right in my wheelhouse! The wine ambassadors were knowledgeable and friendly! Ended up with a bottle of each tasted! Second time here and both visits were quite on-point. Bocce ball court was calling my name but we had another tasting scheduled within the hour! And who doesn't want a picture with the Doggie Diner "statue" in their courtyard! Keep up the good work, Vino Noceto!“

“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.“
“I absolutely love coming here! They have always made me feel so welcome. I am no expert in wine and they always take their time to explain anything. The food is amazing. We come for the wine and stay for the food! We bring anyone we can because of the welcoming atmosphere and hospitality!“

“Great place to stop for lunch and a brew (or soda). They also now serve breakfast! Pulled pork was good, lots of tasty fries. Portions were generous. Food is Hawaii themed. I will visit again. If you are exploring Apple Hill / Camino, it is awesome.“
“One of our favorite wineries. Paul and his staff take such good care of all their patrons! Discovered them last year during the Nevada day, on our annual visit to Apple Hill. They always take good care of Nevada residents on Nevada day, when practically the entire city of Reno goes to California LOL!Make sure you check out Rucksack Winery which is also owned by Paul, across the street.“

“This review is a little late but the food and ambiance was astounding. The brisket melts in your mouth and the cornbread with the honey butter had me talking about this place for months. The service was top tier, we will definitely be making the trip back“
“What a wonderful place to visit and the wines are fabulous! Jann and Rene hosted a great event for us this weekend after our car group went for a beautiful drive through the hills. Jann cooked up a delicious dinner, had great music and poured their fantastic wines for our group. Thank you Jann for all that you did to make our event so memorable. You and Rene are like family“
“My mom and I came on a Sunday in January. It was pretty empty when we arrived since there was a football game going on and the weather was a little gloomy; however, we had an absolutely wonderful time!I had actually discovered Di Stasio at a community event at the clubhouse in my neighborhood and have been dying to visit their tasting room since then. It was easy to find their tasting room and there was plenty of parking. The vineyards were beautiful even in January and the tasting room was so cute. We were greeted by Lindsey who helped guide us through our tasting. My mom and I both decided to try the all red wine tasting menu and were not disappointed. Everything we tried was so good with my favorite being the petite sirah. Lindsey educated us on the history of the vineyards and Di Stasio as well as each wine that we tasted. We had a great time!I will definitely be back with my hubby!“
“It just so happened I was interested in doing the Girl Scout pairing and I thought this was a different winery. I am glad I did ...we were told to have a seat and someone would be with us soon. I assumed it would take a while, but to my surprise a sweet girl name Migali I think that's her name ...greeted us right away with the pairings of Girl Scout cookies and wine she then explained every wine. A few moments later someone brought us some olive oil tasting with tiny bits of bread. They were sooooo good. I purchased the blackberry balsamic. Migali gave us a tour of the cave on the grounds where they have special dinners and events. It was a pretty good way to start our wine day!“
“We got here right when they opened, so it wasn't crowded at all. The donuts and cider were amazing! They had tons of things to choose from nuts, apples, crafts, etc. The staff was friendly, too, despite the early hour. This is one of our favorite places to visit on our yearly trip to Apple Hill. They layout was well thought out too. The aisles weren't super narrow, so that's nice for when it does get busy.“
“Another wine tasting and another club membership! Such a great time getting to know the people running the show here. We were able to taste a good number of their wines, and we REALLY liked the white offerings they had. Subtle flavors and a great little cheese pairing to boot! We literally will be back because we joined the club!“
“What a fantastic place this is!We were there on day when a storm came in. Sitting on the back patio, under a umbrella, sipping wine and enjoying the clouds, lightning and thunder roll through. The people there were so nice and the amount of awards the wines have was pretty cool.We will certainly be going back again.... And, again.“
“Hubby and I were on our way to Tahoe for a romantic weekend vacation and realized we forgot to pack wine! Found Boeger Wines and found something special! The grounds are GORGEOUS!!! A lot of rich history! $15 for 6 heavy pours of their available, and if you have the right server you may get a bonus pour of their favorite! Only intended to buy one bottle of wine, but couldn't decide on which one we liked best...“
“This was a cute vineyard my family and I visited yesterday. They have a complimentary flight which I tried which had a white, orange muscat, sangoivese, another red (I cannot remember), and port to finish it off. They all tried out the delicious selections of ports that deaver sold. We did our tastings inside the gift shop where they also sold cute napkins, spreads, and water bottles. The service was quick and I even got to try some extra tastings like the almond champagne in addition to my complimentary tastings. I will definitely come back to try the port tastings next time since everyone in my family seemed to enjoy them all!“
“We visit Dobra every time we come to Plymouth. Wine is stronger than most but it is really good. Kristi always remembers us and she is always just so much fun to talk to. The grounds are big and pretty and you do your tasting in the cave which is always nice and cool. If you have never been, I totally recommend trying Dobra.“
“I enjoyed our visit to the Rombauer Vineyards in the Sierra Foothills on this rainy day today. We were impressed by the whole experience. The grounds are beautiful, including vineyards rolling across gentle slopes with mountains framing the backdrop, with trees, flowers, and both covered and uncovered seating and tables surrounding the tasting room, creating an ambiance of rustic elegance and a place to shelter from the rain.We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer our questions and suggest tasting of the varieties of wine they produce. As we tasted the selection, I found the wine to be excellent across the board.By the end of our visit to Rombauer Vineyards, I felt not only that I had tasted some truly great wine in a gorgeous setting, but also that I had received genuine hospitality from a staff that cares deeply about the wine they make. I very much look forward to returning to these beautiful grounds to further explore their offerings! From the scenery to the wine itself and especially the friendly faces, Rombauer gives you an outstanding winery experience!“
“This 5 star review is because Janet was so sweet & very knowledgeable of the wines we tasted . Wow! Free wine tasting? That's almost unheard of these days . We loved the Barbera & The dessert wine . We bought both. We sat outside, the grounds are pretty and staff was also very friendly. They are constantly bringing you water so that was nice. They do not serve food , only minimal snacks so bring your own . We got 2 tiny trays they sell with cheese and salami. $18 was I bit steep when they cost like $4 at sprouts but our fault for not bringing any crackers or snacks . Other than that, we loved our time at Cooper Vineyard .“
“This is by far the best winery I have ever been to and the wine was delicious! We got to go back into the barrel room for barrel tasting. Super educational, fun, different experience, personalized, relaxed, engaging and mind blowing. So FREAKING cool!!! The vibe here was super relaxed and fun! Delicious wines! Affordable tastings, bottles and cases. LOVED all the home decor and unique gifts! Super fun!!! Right off Hwy 50 AND delicious BBQ next door! Loved this place! We will be back for sure!“
“This market was a great find for me. Only been to this area a couple of times. We were visiting friends and they took us here for the first time on Saturday afternoon around 4pm. There was plenty of parking and it wasn't busy or crowded. The market is clean and very open. All items looked great and I wish we were able to try some things so we could buy it....There is a small outbuilding that is designated for "tasting" but the employee who was there wasn't very friendly and we didn't really feel welcomed. We tried one thing and then left the tasting building. (We were a little disappointed at how this area was being operated). The rest of the market was great! There is a bargain table that had some amazing deals and I was told by my friend (she's a local) this is the area to shop first! There are locally made wines and cinders. They even have a tasting if you want to pay for it. We actually purchase a bottle of wine (Blackberry apple? Yum!) and two ciders (pomegranate and blackberry -Yum). We definitely want to come back here when we in the area again.“

“One of the best sandwiches I have had in Old Hangtown (Placerville)! I had the Angry Irishman. It was delicious. It's a grilled sandwich with Corned Beef, Pastrami, Cream Cheese, Havarti, Caramelized Onions, Jalapeños, and Hot Pepper Spread all on beautifully grilled Sourdough. Service was friendly. Inside seating is sparse. Just a few seats at the bar, and a table.“
“Yesterday we held our daughter’s baby shower at Blue Barn Provisions. If I could give 10 stars I would. The venue is amazing, it is rustic, quaint and able to host 60 guests. The food was fabulous our guests are still raving about it, the excellent local wine and ciders topped off the fabulous food.Christine and her staff are the greatest hosts, they made the day stress free and so much fun.I highly recommend Blue Barn Provisions for any event you have or just a lunch date on a weekend visit. You will not be disappointed. Our friends and family will be visiting often as we love this venue and the owner.Thank you Christine for an amazing day!!“

“Finally found an all-beef hot dog that I can get in Placerville that is comparable to Bay area hot dog places like Casper's or other hot dog steamed beef hot Dogs. I have been here many years and just never went into streams and now that I have I will be back many many times. I will take a picture “
“Great tasting room and wines. Stopped in on a Thursday and had a nice time. Great indoor space with games that you and your friends can play with. They do have trivia nights - looking forward to checking that out. Overall a great experience“
“Wife and mother in law tried a bottle of the Petite Sirah and says it is the best they've had. They can't wait to open the Barbera and try some of the other wines at Iron Hub. Spencer was great and you can tell passionate about the wine he makes. Will definitely be coming back for a nice day trip to Amador for great wine.“
“Check out the Apple Hill hard cider Trail on the Apple Hill blog! Apple Hill growers have been producing hard cider for generations, and now many farms are offering unique brews that showcase the traditions of the farming, families in the community. The Barsotti family juice company has been making freshly pressed apple cider for nearly 40 years at their family owned, solar powered Cider Mill. Check out their canned delicious hard apple cider. Such great staff and service, definitely a must stop when you're at Apple Hill.“
“I brought my wife and daughter on a Sunday afternoon, it was a very idyllic and wonderful little vineyard! It was spacious and very accommodating with a wonderful atmosphere. The wine wasn't too expensive and the service was top notch!Cannot recommend more highly. My family will certainly be back!“
“Great experience. The non-drinkers of our family were able to enjoy the outdoor seating area while the rest of the crew was hanging in the tasting room. Fabulous wines and friendly service. Bonus points for the furry friend we made. Bought a case to hold us over until our next visit.“
“What a great winery with great owners and a really nice staff. The staff is well-educated in the wines and are quick to recommend wines based on your palette. The pizzas are really good and the chef is great. Overall experience is amazing. Highly recommend.“
“We have been enjoying Terre Rouge/Easton's fabulous wines for over 20 years. While winemaker Bill Easton's Rhone-style wines (Syrahs and Rosés) get the most accolades, his Zinfandels, Barberas, Vermentinos, and Savigon Blancs are exceptionally good!“
“I recently went to this Winery, as my brothers band was playing there. Revolution Beat Band. It was outside and very hot but within 50 feet you could go inside for air conditioning. It was very nice in there and their wine was excellent. Try it, you'll agree.“
“Had a wonderful afternoon visit at Lava Cap today. Sarah was a great host. Even if the wine wasn't good, the view and atmosphere is amazing. But the wines are also good! The Old Vine Zin was our combined favorite. But my particular favorite was the Port. Even had a nice visit from the cat. As my wife and I are both geologists, this was our favorite place to visit for many reasons. Highly recommended!“
“I was visiting my twin brother Mike Smith over the summer and he took me to Jack Russell Brewery InCamino ( very beautiful area in the foothills of northern California) I'm not a beer drinker, but I do drink coffee. My brother bought me 2 bags of Olio Three Bean Blend. And I absolutley love this coffee. So far my brother has sent 5 bags since Aug 2023. More is on the way ! I promise you won't be disappointed !!!“

“We had dinner here tonight. It was delicious! Salad was crisp, variety of veggies and topped with blue cheese crumbles. The meatloaf and Jaegerschnitzel were really good. Love that they offer smaller plates for seniors/smaller appetites, etc. The remodel came out really nice-cozy! We've been coming here for years...many of the dishes come from St. Pauli Inn...remember it up highway 50 before they moved to Camino? ?“

“My biscuits and gravy this morning was delicious and a generous serving. It was brought to my table with steaming hot coffee by the owner, Haley Kline. Very friendly welcoming kind of place, I'm looking forward to many more visits. Can't wait to try one of the many bagels with a tasty smear of my choice, or maybe even lox and cream cheese. The turkey pesto bacon Harvarti on a garlic bagel yummy, lots of choices... Thank you to the amazing team involved in making my order. Jean Long“
“We signed up for an event. My husband got an email, that it was cancelled. We drove here thinking we would just pick up and leave. We were surprised, to see the event going on as planned. They accepted our early reservation, since it changed to first come, first serve. Had room inside, which we prefer with it raining today. A good acoustic guitar and singer were playing. Wood stove pizza and delicious wine was poured. Our server Katie was experienced and very knowledgeable. This place has always been unique and surprisely fun.“
“Came in on a Friday afternoon for a glass of Primitivo (excellent) as I knew they had live music scheduled. Elana and Mandy were behind the bar pouring wine, a badass duo!! Both are super friendly and slightly sarcastic, made the whole experience a lot of fun! Definitely recommend stopping in on your way to Tahoe.“

“What a lovely accident. I was passing through and stopped to grab a bite to eat. On a Tuesday, I was able to walk in and be seated right away. Was met by great staff who was very kind and welcoming. The ambiance was set as a charming farmhouse. And the star of the experience was the food. It was fresh and well seasoned. I munched on the Cajun chicken sandwich, with a couple of modifications. (Don't hate me, but I'm a wuss when it comes to spice) highly recommend! I also had the clam chowder and focaccia! Yum yum yum!!! If you're in the area come here for good eats and good people!“
“I've been here a few times over the past few years and it's quickly become a must visit winery for me. The property is just stunning, the outdoor space is cozy and inviting, they have bocce ball and a putting green, and the indoor bar top is gorgeous. I have thoroughly enjoyed every wine I've had here and have never had a bad experience with any of the staff. The prices are fair and it feels like a hidden gem amongst the many wineries in the area.“

“Had a bday party there recently. On a karaoke night. It was wonderful. I bought food to take home and it was scrumptious. Had breakfast couple weeks ago and for the money it was a lot of food. I'll be back Indeed. Bartenders and cooks ate so sweet and appreciative of the business you give them.“

“This burger joint is close to my home, so I have been a regular consumer. One favorite was the Chinese Chicken salad. Their limited hours makes it tough to eat there. They take no orders after 6:30 pm and close the indoor seating early as well. Recently, they raised their prices significantly. At these rates I would rather eat at a nicer place such as the Tap House or Brick Oven Pub.“

“This used to be the best restaurant in the area, but ever since Maria took over it is one of my favorite restaurants PERIOD. I used to love the burgers so was glad to see them stay on the menu and wasn’t interested in trying the Mexican food. But when I finally did I never looked back. Carnitas are my favorite and the rice and beans are maybe the best I’ve ever had. Also, everyone on staff is super nice. Love this place“
