“This is the best bakery I've ever been to in.my.life. I've traveled around the US and have had tried many great places...but this one is INCREDIBLE. Every single dessert we had was amazing. The apple pie croissant changed my life lol. And the honey cinnamon latte brought me back every single day of my trip. They also had a seasonal turkey and cranberry sandwich that rocked my world. Chocolate croissant? Yep. Get one. I'm not kidding when I say, just go, try a little of everything and enjoy the gorgeous Tahoe scenery. Can't recommend enough!“
“This place is local to me. The flavor is great. We've ordered multiple times. We laugh as we never know what you're going to get. Is it my order or someone else's? However it's still good. “We just came from a St. Patrick's dinner at St. Theresa's in Tahoe. The dinner was wonderful but the desserts were off the hook. I don't even know how they made the rainbow cupcakes.Apparently the owner runs the shop out of her house. If I ever need a cake made in Tahoe I know where I'm going.“
“**This review is based on the outdoor seating area and ordering an appetizer and adult beverage only** California burger is located in a pretty cool spot in heavenly village. There is a large amount of outdoor seating with a small stage for musicians to play music for patrons. We scored an outside table after about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday. This is a nice area to people watch, listen to music and enjoy the Tahoe scenery. Our server was quick to greet us and take our orders. I ordered the Shamrockin'. This is an adult milkshake made with Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Crème De Menthe, Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Chips. This milk shake was awesome and I highly recommend it! I also ordered the buffalo cauliflower. The combination of breading on the cauliflower was delicious and the buffalo gave it a little heat, which was a great combo. A must visit spot for lunch or dinner!“
“Decor was bare bones but baked goods were pretty good. Lemon meringue tart was excellent. Berry turnover was made from tart dough, not puff pastry so I was disappointed because it was like a pop tart. The cream horn was good but insubstantial and needed a bit more sweetness. They also have espresso drinks here, and the americano was fine. Customer service was okay.“

We each enjoyed our choices (Blue Moo, Blazer, chilli beans, zucchini fries)Parking: Limited on-site parking is available…but worth the wait if it busy.Wheelchair accessibility: This is a small space inside and not very wheelchair accessible. However the outdoor dining area appeared very roomy if you have warmer weather than we do in December.“
“We went to the sushi bar here. It was a great place. Unusual decor but friendly staff. Very busy so it’s poplar. The menu was exciting and the food was excellent and well priced, but the venue was cold (we ate in our ski clothes, hat and jacket!) and all our meal were lukewarm in temperature when we went to eat. Disappointed.“
“Ordered an 8 in almond cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting for my wife's birthday... it was fantastic... adults and kids all enjoyed... the almond and raspberry complimented each other very well... moist w the perfect amount of sweetness... beautifully decorated... communicates very well via email providing recommendations etc... highly recommend!“
“We have been going to Basecamp for over 9 years as we lived on Stateline. We now live in Minden and go to Heavenly Village to hang out and eat, listen to live music, etc. Let me say that out of all the servers we have ever had. Alydia, I think that is how you spell her name. This girl was on top of everything! Great service she never forgot one thing we asked for, she would look over to see how full my glass was. wow! this girl is AMAZING! She had a smile on her face the whole time. I hope to sit in her section next time we eat there. We appreciate you Alydia :o)“
