The best food from El Salvador are the pupusas. There are very few places where you can find delicious pupusas and this is one of them. The cabbage salsa was not perfect but acceptable. The papas con chicharrón was well prepared and had a very good flavor but very little chicharrón and the tamales had a pleasant flavor but not to my taste
I'm always hesistant about buying Salvi food at restaurants because I rather have what my mom makes. Gave this spot a try and it was good. Had the atole de elote, it was a cold day so it hit the spot. Tasted like elote and wasn't too thick. Enchiladas de carne had a lot of flavor, decent amount of meat. You can never go wrong with Platanos con frijoles and crema. They were super ripe. The pupusas were food too. Liked that they didn't have too much flour so they didn't feel too...read full review
