“One of the best hot chicken joints in LA and iv tried them all, the chicken is so fresh, tender n juicy you just want more n more. Staff is very friendly, it's a family owned and operated business and you can tell they really care about the food and the service. If your lucky you'll run into the cutest little girl taking orders, literally made my night. Will be back soon!“
“Fried Chicken wings to Die for!Atmosphere: Small restaurant hole in the wall very no frills, tv playing korean tv shows counter to order, Clean restroom and maybe 6 tables to sit. Overall pleasant interior.Everything is fried to order, be patient and you will be rewarded. It took 20 minutes but I would wait hours for this its that good. They use a Rice flour which I think is key to their amazing chicken. This also makes the breading naturally gluten free I believe.Food:Soy Sauce Honey Wings - This is the most amazing combination of sauces, sweet and salty perfection. The wings were PERFECTLY fried and insanely addicting. i could drink this sauce daily.Original Wings - The literal crispiest chicken I have ever had. You could hear the crunch from our house 30 minutes away. The flavor and quality is unmatched. The only wings i could easily say needs NO sauce whatsoever, the chicken speaks for itself.. salt, pepper and crunchy heaven.Pickled Radish - So sweet and delicious a great palette cleanser, also a must get!Drinks:Canned Sodas and teasPrice:This is a case where I gladly say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, the quality of the chicken and the amazing fry they get along with the unbelievable sauces. Around $17.00 for a small order which is 9 wings both flats and drums.Parking:They have a free 2 hour parking lot which we were lucky enough to find a spot at. I could see parking being an issue if you dont get a spot in this lot for sure.Service:The absolute nicest staff. The owners were so gracious and warm and welcoming. This is how a meal out should be, they appreciate that you are there and we had NOTHING but praise for the entire experience. The fact this place isn't on EVERYONE'S MUST EAT list is shocking to me. This is the BEST chicken wings in LA hands down.“
“Klunkin Chicken isn't just about the delicious food - it's also about the warm hospitality. From the moment you walk in, the friendly employees make you feel right at home. Combined with their juicy, flavorful chicken and signature sauces, Klunkin Chicken offers a dining experience that's as memorable as it is delicious.“
“If you want to see what real hot chicken should taste like then you should stop by and try this place out. The brine is done so perfectly that the chicken just falls apart. The seasonings they use taste amazing. I never get tired of this place from the chicken to the fries to the sauce everything is amazing! The service is always top notch and the inside is actually clean and tidy so you can sit down and enjoy your food!“
“We had our first at Memphis when we drove through Tenessee. My wife and I didn’t expect to see one in LA.Crispy chicken outside and juicy inside. These are made fresh as you order so make sure you have the patience to wait.Wife ordered 3 wings but was given a different one, but they have us keep it while they prepare the actual order. Going the extra mile!Staff are also diverse, which is good!❤️“
“This is maybe the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken is incredibly well seasoned, not too spicy, but super flavorful. The sides were excellent. I was going to take a picture of the food but it was gone before I remembered… will be back!“
“I went to finally try this spot on a Thursday for $2 tenders. Ordered 2 cool (less than mild), 2 glow (mild), and 2 spark (medium). They all came out looking the same and once I tried it all, there wasn't much of a difference in spice level. I could've tried the next tier after Spark --- I think .The batter was great - loved the crunch and crispyness of it.I thought they would've been stingy about the $2 tenders but the size of the tenders were a good size.Staff was nice and efficient for a busy Thursday lunchtime. There's outdoor seating if you can't find a spot inside.“
“Been stopping in here for a few years. It is inside the Greenland Market. The owner is wonderful & has a fun, infectious energy... but actually everyone else who works here is always very nice as well.Never had anything bad from here. The drinks, chicken, chips, dogs, rice cakes, everything has been yummy (never tried the sandwiches but judging from my experiences here, i would assume they're just as good). Doesn't take too long to get your food, but as everything is made fresh, it might be 5-15 minutes depending on what you order. Smart to put in an order first, then do some grocery shopping as you wait ?You can't go wrong with a yuzu slushie, some rice cakes and a half-n-half noodle dog. I sprinkle a sugar packet on my noodle dog - I'd highly recommend trying that if you haven't! ❤️Parking: Plenty of free parking at Greenland market.... but just beware of snatch thieves. Lol“
“Provender: how's the chicken? Crispy and moist. I recommend getting your chicken sandwiches or wings from this joint. The wings are a decent size also. Prices: 10 wings will run you about $20. Seems pricey, but once you see and taste them, they'll seem worth it. Parking: they have a shared lot, and it's best to enter on Sherman Way. People: fun for all. Perks: they also offer hot dogs in addition to their sandwiches, strips, and wings. They have a wide variety of sauces, so you can order the original wings and get the sauce you enjoy best.“
“I feel dumb for not realizing how close Daybird is to All Day Baby. I would have swung by had I known all this time.No Mei Lin in the house. She must be off getting ready to cook T-Day for Oprah. We got the Taiwanese popcorn chicken sandwich, the hot cod, a no spice and a medium tender. That popcorn chicken sandwich really did taste like popcorn chicken...and I adore popcorn chicken. This chicken is super crispy and juicy and just perfect. Why did it take me so long to come here? It's probably the most complex chicken sandwich I've ever had with the flavors you get from the chicken, fresh acidic slaw and Martin's bun.The hot cod sandwich is what the filet o' fish wants to grow up to become. I loved the spices on the crispy fried cod, and the bite where the moisture from the fish leaked out was insane. My only complaint was that the fish outshined the American cheese and the aioli that's also in the sandwich. I tasted the spiced fish more than anything else. In that moment, I was actually glad I didn't do the Astrea add-on because if I didn't taste the standard aioli, what hope would I have had to enjoy the caviar?Had to try the tenders since we wanted to know what the regular chicken spice mix tasted like. There's a fair amount of batter on the tender and I think the tender has been pounded out a touch. No spice tender was great, but the batter to chicken ratio was probably too high for me. The medium tender was delightful...loved the tingle and numbing feeling. Batter to chicken ratio was also high here.Liked the peach ginger tea...but it was more ginger than peach. The milk tea was really great.Gonna have to come back. And I love that parking was readily available at 2:30PM on Friday.“
“I love this place! The chicken is deliciously spicy. I love spice, so I get hot spice and it's perfect. The fries are well seasoned and crispy. The white sauce is the best sauce. My order is always ready when I get there and the staff is very kind!“
“I ordered mild chicken strips and fries and my husband had hot chicken strips and fries. The chicken was moist, juicy and flavorful. The seasonings were excellent. The hot version was indeed quite hot and really good. The mild is very mild but tasty. I will try the medium next time. The staff was really nice and very caring. It's a simple little place. I would go there again anytime.“
“Some of the best CHicken sliders i have had in the heart of Glendale. Driving pass here after seeing someone, We decided to stop by here and grab some Chicken spicy sliders and non spicy ones. Food was finger tastin good with pickles, mayo and all the good sauces. Staff are cool as hell. Gotta love Hot Chix, You always want em hot. Wish i could hang in Glendale often, But ill be back again when visitng my kinship over here.“
“I got the inferno chicken sandwich and the shrimp, and let me say I tapped out on the second shrimp, but I finished my chicken sandwich. If you love spicy foods, this is a great place to get them. I dont suggest you try the inferno unless you eat really spicy stuff. My lips are purple, and I was about to cry. That's how spicy it is, but it's good. Really recommend this place. Plus the staff is friendly.“
“Was in the mood for some chicken wings and stumbled upon this place dedicated to wings, tenders, sandwiches and fries. I like the focus of the menu, it’s not all over the place and there are plenty of choices.I got their original wings and it came with fries, onion rings and potato chips. The batter was incredibly crispy and the chicken was delicious. We also ordered a chicken sandwich, it was filling and their mayo hot sauce is legit. If you live in the fashion district they offer free delivery. Easy to place an order online or at their counter. Nice outdoor seating area. There’s street parking around the block. The employees were super friendly and welcoming!“
“This is the first spot we stopped to eat coming from NY and the website looked great and it's around the corner from our hotel so we have it a shot and SO GLAD we did! Cute spot, great menu with really good prices. And the FOOD, oh man the food was absolutely amazing. The flavors, presentation, serving size are perfect. Highly recommend Wildbird!“
“This is my local location. I've never dined in because the corner where they're at is ridiculous traffic wise, both car and people. I always opt for a 2 people meal. Everything is always still perfectly hot temp wise by the time it gets to my place. Speaking of hot, their spice level is it. You can't go wrong. They stay consistent. I've yet to be disappointed with any item I've tried. Thanks for always being the perfect solution to my munchies attacks“
“The food here is delicious! But, one of the employees there, little Latino kid who always has earbuds in while customers are coming in, tends to IGNORE you when u come in for food. He, does it deliberately it seems to run customers away so he doesn't have to work. It's, seriously pitiful because if it weren't for him & his "turtle service" this place would be five stars. They, should get rid of him & choose a person who REALLY cares for the customers & wants to work. Regardless, of this particular employee this place has delicious food guys. It's, just sometimes u will need to YELL to get them to come to the front counter to order! Outside, of that employee I mentioned the food is delicious for the third time! ❤️❤️❤️?#He'sBADforBusinessVegetarian options: Menu is small but they have options for anyone who doesn't eat meatParking: Sometimes, the parking can be super congested when they're busy. Because there are other small restaurants inside the lot as well, not to mention a nailspa.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“Wow, what can I say. First time coming to this spot, ordered at the kiosk and our order was done in 10 minutes. We ordered the #2 Monty's Favorite & the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Looking at the price I was a bit skeptical BUT after we received our order I can 100% say it was worth with every penny. Portion sizes were great, the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Do yourself a favor and please try the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, absolutely DELICIOUS. Haven't had a chicken sandwich that good in forever.10/10, will definitely be coming again soon!“
“I always been coming here these people are awesome, they mostly have your food ready and everything prepared on time, I'm writing a review for this specific time I went. I ordered a combo and they gave me alot of extra food, they hooked it up I guess just because. So I asked for Mac and cheese in replacement of the fries but they gave both, so it seems like that was just a free addition. And they gave me an extra tender too, alot of free extra food, I love that, thats how you get customers to be loyal and come back, I guess they just did it for the good or generosity, I'm not sure the reason why they gave extra food, but I'm guessing just cause they felt nice and like doing a good thing which is awesome i love that, thank you guys I really appreciate it“
“Catered a lunch for 40 folks today in the office. I was completely swamped with work and only had 24 hrs to find catering for the event. They were totally fine with my order of 10 chickens for the next day. The meal was chicken, french fries and salad. The family meal is $30x10= $300+ tax=$330. People were very surprised, happy, and satisfied. They could stop talking about how delicious the chicken was. Then my Latino colleagues gush over the aji sauce omg they were using it like salad dressing on their chicken. Out of the 2 containers we only had 1/2 container left which my Latina colleague took home to share with her mom. Been coming here for over 10 years and should have written a review much earlier but this catering put them in "awesome" status. So glad I work in the city.“
“I ended up the main chick combo the fries here were one of the best. The potatoes they used and how they seasoned were perfect. The chicken itself needed more seasoning. The chicken combo was honestly very good and will plan to get this place again down the line.“
“Great value, $24 for 24 pieces of boneless wings (large pieces). Tastes extremely good as well. The chicken was also crispy despite being drenched in the sweet and spicy sauce. The waiters are nice and friendly. As for the atmosphere average. Nothing too special about it, but nothing bad about it either.“
“First trip to California and we were on the Santa Monica Pier looking for a place to eat. We decided to cross the street and check out options on the Promenade when we found this place. Customer service was great and staff was friendly. Very happy with the portion size and speed of service. My chicken-waffle sandwich was delicious! Enjoyed dipping it in syrup, ketchup and the honey BBQ sauce. Would definitely recommend it as a place to try!“
“Simply a classic and a must if you are in this part of town. For those who grew up eating it, it's still just as good as you remember (a bit more expensive) for those who've never tried it, you are missing out!Parking: The parking lot get filled up quick you might be better off looking for parking up the street or in the surrounding neighborhood“
“Amazing! My wife and I were skeptical because the other restaurants were packed and only one group eating in here but we took a chance and we are soooo glad we did! We got the double cheese smash burger with fries and it was sooooo good! The patty was well seasoned and the buns were great! The fries were crispy and fluffy! We also ordered the honey butter wings as well as the 77 chili wings and they were both sooooo tasty! They were super crispy and the chicken was juicy! Amazing 10/10 can’t wait to come back“
“Rating: 7.5/10I mean you can get 5 sauces wings for just under a ten-er! I think that's a sick deal. I got their garlic soy and it's pleasantly soy forward with garlic umami dancing around the mouth like an army of fairies. Not delicate but fascinatingly savory and just under the cusp of being too much which goes well with the salty soy. Cwispy too :)Will definitely be coming back for their different sauces!“
“Delicious place for fresh wraps, I love this place. I practically lived off their food in college. This location, in particular, is better for take out with some outdoor limited seating. Parking is also rough, but you can find street parking and mobile order prior to make it faster.“
“Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles is a place you must visit to cross off your bucket list at least once to see what the hype is ALl about. If you're visiting for the first time, I would recommend trying "Scoe's" 1/4 chicken or the "Herb's" 1/2 chicken entrée. It all really depends on how hungry you are. They are essentially the same, except the Scoe's is smaller, while the Herb's has more chicken. They both come with 2 waffles. You have the choice of white meat or dark meat chicken.Pictured is the Scoe's special, mac and cheese, and Biscuits and gravy.I recommend eating the chicken with Louisiana hot sauce, dipping your chicken in syrup, and eating the chicken together with the waffle. Their waffles are amazing. They are made with Roscoe's own private mix.You can also try their chicken with some of Roscoe's own personal hot sauce bottles. They make different ones than the go-to Louisiana hot sauce. You can buy some of their hot sauce bottles and a T-shirt to take home at their locations. I've been to two different locations, the Hollywood and South Central Manchester locations.Neither of them disappoint.I used to frequent Roscoe's regularly about 10 years back when i was in town for shows or visiting the old Amoeba location. This place hasn't changed much. Still bomb!Wait times may vary.Parking is either super easy or somewhat difficult to find. Depending on the time you are showing up, it can get very busy. There are paid parking meeters on Gower Street. Depending on the day and time, the meeters are free. You should be able to find parking around the area. A short walk to a delicious meal never hurts. Also, the "obama special" was pretty popular.I added 3 pictures taken with my film camera. Enjoy the HollyHood location!Parking: Street parking is free at certain times and days. Please read signs to acknowledge if you're able to park for free“
“Very impressed. Food came out fast. I ordered the NOT chicken slider sandwich which is basically a cauliflower sandwich! THE CRUNCH I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR forever! It’s the best crispy sandwich for vegetarians I’ve tasted so far. The fries are actually good too; seasoned fries which you rarely see these days. Definitely returning. I had to leave this review bc they so deserve it.“
“This place was amazing. The chicken was on point. They also do Carne Asada with amazing flavor. Beans and rice come as sides with the family meal and was perfect. We normally went to Pops chicken in North Hollywood but they always close early and it’s super frustrating when you want to eat after 5:30 PM.This will be our new go to place since they’re open late and their chicken is just as good if not better than other places we’ve been.“
“Wow, I discovered this place by accident cuz I had the intention of dining in a nearby restaurant but it was closed. Since I was already very hungry, I decided to give this place a try and I was glad I did. Definitely a hole in the wall in this part of NoHo, this place has minimal decorations and a few tables and chairs for dining customers. I ordered three tacos, asada, pollo and pastor. I loved each one of them. Definitely tasted very authentic, I thought for a second I was in Mexico. I'm hoping to drop by again soon cuz I want to try the charbroiled chicken which looks like is the specialty here.“
“This is my first time at this branch, believe it or not.And I am embarrassed-not-embarrassed to admit that I ordered "MILD" chicken sandwich because I'm lame. There was no line to enter. No line to order. Very short wait to get our food. There are plenty of indoor seating.Street parking is available in the surrounding street. If you still can't find one, Cedros Parking is cheap and is conveniently located across the street.“
“Dinah's is the quintessential classic fried chicken spot! Located on the east side of Los Angles—this place is a hidden gem tucked amidst the swank Galleria shopping district in the foothill enclave of Glendale, California just beneath the Vergudo Mountains. The ambiance is a perfect blend of folksy and traditional with carved wooden furniture and ornamental decór laid about in a fashion not dissimilar to what one might expect to see in an old guard Dixieland dining room of a grand home in the southern United States. The seats, tables, and flatware were all exceptionally clean and the restroom areas were also noticeably well-kept. Service was top-notch with polite and pleasant staff readily available at every turn. Food was served within minutes of placing our orders and came out piping hot with generous portions and no room for regrets. We ordered the Chicken Dinners, which come with three pieces of perfectly crispy golden fried chicken along with two sides and a dinner roll. My order included mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and an extra chicken drumstick for $1 as part of the Friday Special. The potatoes were rich and smooth. The mac was creamy, oozing with cheese, and it had a perfect bite to the pasta. And the dinner rolls were as to be expected. I could not have been happier, as this place satisfied my every craving for southern comfort food without all of the off-putting qualities of a standard, fast-food chicken spot. If you're in the mood for a good fried chicken dinner the way it should be done, at a reasonable price, Dinah's is the way to go. Five Stars across the board.“
“They are great at providing excellent customer service. The food is always cooked to perfection in whatever way I make my request and is ready for pick up when I arrive. The Asian woman is always so very accommodating and knows me so well. She always says hi (my son's name) mom.“
“The best Mediterranean/persian/armenian food in dtla. I had the half chicken plate and it was HUGE and very filling. The prices here are unbelievable low and the food quality is amazing. Very clean on the inside too and friendly workersWould definitely come here just keep in mind limited parking nearby“
“Coming from a Mexican culture our food brings family's together through its bold and spicy flavors. Food to us needs to be all about flavor and let's not forget that our food is not complete unless accompanied by a spicy salsa and tortillas! I've passed through this place numerous of times and never had the time to stop in. Well today I'm glad I was lazy to cook and remembered about El Pollo Pio Pio. Their chicken has nothing on El Pollo Loco nor Sevans Chicken. Its full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I purchased the family special that consists of 2 whole chickens, 4 sides (rice, beans & coleslaw), HANDMADE tortillas and a salsa! Ok so for all this it was less than you would pay at any other places. I'm not a big fan of coleslaw but this one was delish, their salsa was a little salty for my liking but definitely had all the flavors going. The rice and beans were also great in flavor. Overall I would rate this place a 9 out of 10. I think if they added avocado to their family special it would be all so much tasty and a 10 from me! But then again I love avocado with everything ? if you haven't already tried this place its a definite must. I will definitely be coming back!“
“It taste amazing the food is great. It is like that scene from Ratatouille and Remy eats the strawberry and cheese. It is very flavorful and unique. The sandwich could have been crisper but it was still amazing The fries are seasoned nicely. And the restaurant was overall really cool with there aesthetic and design.“
“The chicken is ALWAYS amazing but their fries are always cold and taste frozen. The fries should be hot, not cold and soggy. It hasn’t been once or twice, it’s every time lately and I’ve been there like 20+ times. Initially they were fresh. I don’t know what “
“Just happened to stop by Wildbird and was very impressed. The free-range chicken was hot and crispy and tasted great. We had the full chicken meal and while it was a bit expensive, it was good. We had the beans and the I would highly recommend getting the sweet potatoes. If you do a Google review you get free salsa and chips. The chip seasoning was good. Geo was our server and was really great in helping us order. I would definitely go back and also check out their other location.Parking: It's Westwood“
“You guys are awsome. Stela and the cashier were awesome tonight. We came in almost at close and they were super nice and even cooked fresh food for us. We came from far and barely made it but they made our dinner and night perfect. You need more like your crew you had tonight. Starting from management all the way to your cook. Had the best smile and ready to make the food even if it was time for them to almost go home.“
“Great family-owned business. Ive always had a good experience there. The food is really clean, filling, and i never feel bad after eating this. Spicy chicken plate came with hummus and pita bread included as well as extra sauce. You can tell by the taste and look that they use top ingredients. This is my 6th time visiting, and the previous 5 times have been to-go orders for my mechanic shop. All previous times have been great as well! Even one of my employees that wont eat anything outside period ate this and cleaned his plate :)Vegetarian options: There is falafel that is vegan and vegetarian!Parking: Its a shopping center. 2 times was very busy but the rest of the times i came here it was goodWheelchair accessibility: Door is wide enough for a wheelchair and there is a ramp on the side“
“Went with three others last night. Service was vey friendly, although you do all the work ordering on the computer. Seating was outside, only, which is OK when the weather is good. They do have heaters but they weren't needed last night. The food was excellent. The fried potatoes were fresh, and crisp. The Dirty Chicken (their specialty) was very crisp and very juicy. Mac & cheese was not like so many others that have overly saturated gooey cheese. These were just right. The sautéed broccoli was delicious and al dente. We will definitely be back for more.“
“I enjoy fried chicken, although I'm no expert. I've visited this place twice, and in my opinion, the quality is decent, the portion size is reasonable, but the bread isn't that great. However, I do feel it's a bit pricey for what you receive.“
“Amazing service and always such good food. I gotta callout Silvino though for his incredible service.Silvino is one of the nicest - most helpful employees I've ever come across in Los Angeles.Thank you Silvino for being so patient, kind, welcoming, and warm! Looking forward to stopping by this location again“
“I’ve been coming/Ordering to/from CCC since 2010 and the quality of the food and the service has been always top notch!! If you’re looking for a whole variety of healthy alternatives CCC is the place to go. I recently ordered from the catering menu at the Westwood store and they have the best combinations of delicious wraps, rotisserie chicken and the best side dishes ( that broccoli pasta y the roasted potatoes are so delicious) for a job meeting and everyone raved about the food. Finally I’d like to comment about the SERVICE. They are always friendly and willing to make you entire satisfied! The place is always immaculate clean! CCC is the best place for great, healthy and inexpensive food!Alex Nataren“
“Always on point! There were 5 of us so we got a family pack with and extra side of mashed potatoes and gravy and extra biscuits! We also ordered a whole peach pie to go because it was my birthday! we spent about $110 and it was worth it! Will be back again. Also twice now we've taken the Metro E line to the Culver Blvd stop and walked over there. It's a real cute walk! And once we've taken our food to go and hopped back on the train to the pier and ate it at palisades park?“
“The chicken is solid, as is the mac n chz.The staff are less so. They'll sell you a drink cup when the soda machine is broken (though to be fair, when we went back and complained, they did offer a bottle of soda no charge)They also didn't shout out the order number very loudly when it was ready. We were sitting by the door (so not far...) and did not hear them.Vegetarian options: They have meatless chicken!“
“Not just spicy but fresh and crisp made-to-order hot chicken and wings. I normally don’t dip but their house sauce was an irresistible compliment to the chicken. Cole slaw was simple and snappy which balanced the intensity of the other flavors. Portions are generous. Personable staff. Definitely will be returning.“
