“Okay this is going to be a long review1-beautiful atmosphere, well done ✅2-wonderful friendly staff, well done ✅3-as a very first time customer i did my research and read many reviews before fully committing to trying out this restaurant3B- I agree with everyone who shared their opinion of “leaving here hungry”3C- the food is absolutely delicious BUT the price ratio and plate proportions are off4- have you ever heard of Grandville4B- this restaurant could be Grandville’s twin, you are so close and yet just not there5- the advertised drink menu is so short and limited but in truth the bar can make many more traditional cocktails you just have to ask- the menu should show more of these options6- overall I believe this restaurant will survive but as a business can improve and dig deeper into fully servicing a bigger presentation of the community successful vs becoming a limited community customer pleaser7- i am going to put 5 stars but i am wishing i could give 4.5 stars- really wish google offered half star options“

“This is a 5+++, as you would be hard-pressed to find a more creative, flavorful and truly life-changing pasta meal than at Cento. The Spicy Pomodoro Pasta may be the singularly most delicious pasta dish on earth. The lamb meatballs… to die for. The grilled octopus, OMG. Pasta will never be the same for you. The beet spaghetti? Just ask Luca… it becomes part of you. Highly recommended.“

“This place is divine. It is true authentic French and you feel like you've been transported to Paris when you go. The food is so finely prepared with quality ingredients and each dish is so unique and delicious. It's my new favorite!“

“AOC has always been a “go-to” restaurant for all the right reasons- food, food, food, service, service, service, ambience, ambience, ambience. I must have dined there +20 times and it just keeps getting better. And, NO, I was not paid for this review. I am particularly “gushing” with my comments this time because my wife and l are dealing with stressful external forces in our life and AOC provided a little quiet from the storm and performed perfectly in every way. One of the best meals we've ever had there. Kudos to all!“

“This was our first time at Saltie Girl. We will definitely be dinning at Saltie Girl again.The oysters were outstanding and not a bad price at $4.50 each. They had great flavor.LA Pink salad was very good with an excellent crushed maple walnut dressing dressing.The Moules Frites, probably the best I ever had, even better than in Belgium! Ipswich Claim had a wonderful coating and excellent flavor. The Fried Brussels Sprouts outstanding flavor. The French Dover Sole with the lemon, capers, butter and parsley, amazing flavor. Lump Crab Toast bold and delicious flavor.The one dish I would pass on next time is the Tins. We had one tin with Sardine In Olive Oil With Lemon and one with Hake In Green Sauce. They just lacked flavor.Service was top notch.“

“One of the best Korean barbecues in LA the meat is great quality. There could be a little bit of weight because they don’t take reservations, but it’s totally worth it. you can get a drink while you wait for your table. We always go in groups and get the beef combo that comes with a soup. The Wagyu is also really great.Parking: Depending on time of day, you might find street parking with meters or free street parking. the plaza also has limited parking spots.“

“Fusion Filipino restaurant with natural wine and Filipino beer selection. After trying many under-delivered fusion Filipino restaurants, Spoon and Pork easily takes the crowd to have the best executed fusion style dishes. We had the sinigang, grilled chicken, adobo chicken wings, pork belly, and garlic rice, and none of them disappointed.Sinigang's soup was rich and flavorful while the topping in the soup was cooked separately so they are not over cooked. The ribs came with a real nicely grilled flavored. The pork belly had crispy skin as expected and the fat to meat ratio was really good. The adobo chicken wings sauce was thick and sticky and not too salty nor sour, we kept the sauce for dipping Even after the wings were devoured.We are glad we took another chance in another fusion Filipino restaurant and we'll keep S&P on our rotation.“

“Excellent food and cooking! Large menu, including a lot of option for vegetarian/kosher diet. The outdoor seating was nice and equipped with heaters. Price was fair. The service was a bit long but we went on a Sunday night, so understandable. We will going back for sure!“

“I found this place 2 years ago completely by accident. My family and I walked in, and the rest was history. Amazing atmosphere, amazing service, and the cherry on top: the AMAZING food. I can't say enough about the food. Excellent selection, combinations, and taste. The chef knows what they're doing, and it shows. The black fried rice is so unique and delicious. We left happy with happy stomachs. I am excited to report that two years later, HATCH still exceeds my expectations. Happened to be in LA again and remembered the food. I couldn't remember the name, so I searched for it. Found the place, and it's a short walk away. Perfect. Walked in, got a table, and the service was amazing, per usual. The food was fantastic! The owner came over and checked on us, asking how everything was going. We explained how we were so happy to find HATCH again after two years and memories of the wonderful experience. The owner ended up cutting us a deal and said if we ordered one dessert, we'd get another one the house. Both of the desserts were delectable. The next time I find myself in downtown LA, I will be returning to HATCH. I'm so happy to support an awesome restaurant with amazing food and a wonderful owner. You guys are killing it!“

“I love this place. A bit pricy but everything is fresh and prepared with much tlc. The staff is always so sweet and there's a particular lovely trans server who always greets me as if I'm family. She has the most warm personality and to be honest, she is one of the reasons I keep coming back! She recommended the citron roll to me and I've been hooked ever since. I'll typically order that, and a couple other simple rolls that are discounted during happy hour. My fav thing to do is sit on the patio eating sushi and people watching. One time a guy decked out in Beyoncé fan gear came up to me and sang happy birthday to his Beyoncé pillow (it was her birthday that day). Nothing but good vibes here.“

“Holy Basil is instant comfort that teleports you home. The dishes are flawlessly executed and the flavors are consistently on point. The vibe of this hidden gem reminds you of your family’s kitchen and I feel like a kid again full of excitement from the escaping aromas. I lean heavy into firing the menu family style and always look forward to memorable meals shared. Their take out withstands LA traffic to the far away land of Santa Monica. “The most authentic Thai restaurant we have found in LA! Very close to what you'll experience in Thailand. We ordered the Som Tum, Tom Yum soup, pumpkin curry, Pad Thai, Eggplant, Hot Basil with tofu (probably a bit more plain than we expected), Pad Woon Sen (most SoCal Thai restaurants botch it, but Chao Krung Thai masterfully presented a perfect, dry, fried version) and mango sticky rice. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Among the cons are difficult parking, slow service and very dark interior.“

“Bit of a pricey spot, but so worth it! Got the intestine hotpot, gyoza stuffed wings, and oysters. Hotpot comes only with intestine, cabbage, chives, and noodles, so we ended up adding tofu pork meat. Such a good choice for a cold night. Fattiness of intestines was umami and not overwhelming, especially when paired with the yuzu kosho. Noodles were thick and the perfect texture. Wings taste exactly what the sound like and had a nice grilled flavor. Oysters were very fresh and refreshing.“

“It’s a unique take on ramen, good depth of flavor, great noodles, but for me the truffle dominates and the richness of the soup is too buttery. Like it for something new, but I prefer a more traditional take. I like truffle and I have had a dozen bowls in Tokyo. I was expecting the price, but at the end of the night it felt too steep.“

The server was a great help when we were deciding what to order. The food came out quickly and was all quality and so, so yummy. There were 3 of us and we shared and ate family style.I did feel like the prices were a little high for the amount of food you get. “My husband and I visited Juliana for a dinner date and we loved the ambiance and food! The decor is beautiful and modern, and the menu is a unique mix of tapas and mains with Asian and Italian influences. We ordered the Blueberry Tenderloin Steak and the Burrata Bolognese Spaghetti and I highly recommend both! A fun spot for a date night or a dinner out with friends.“

“The owner reached out to me and apologized for our experience and said he spoke with his staff already. I felt that he was genuine and is making changes due to our feedback. He also kindly refunded our meal without me even asking him - which tells me that he really cares that people have a good experience at his restaurant. If I lived in Santa Monica, I would be willing to give Manchego another go as I know the Owner cares. The restaurant does have a cosy, nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly.“

“A very happy discovery. After being a bit surprised at the minimum cost at another nearby restaurant, I kept walking. I was drawn to the gas flames of outdoor dining. I found Bacari GDL and was very pleased. The food was excellent. My Bacarita was spicy but refreshing with watermelon to counter the bite. My ceviche was the best I have had. My pork chop with caramelized onions was perfect after a long day. Hannah was a delight in her care of my dining experience. I hope to return to Glendale again to enjoy this gem.“

“I've been really into wine bars lately and decided to check out Mignon. The bar is so dark that I had to whip out my phone and used the flashlight to read the menu lol. Staff is super friendly and provided great recs! +Mixed and match of cheese and charcuterie 5/5: Our server recommended some soft cheeses and less salty meats, and everything tasted delicious! + NY steak 5/5: Wow, I didn't have much expectations of an $18 steak but it's one of the most well-seasoned steak I've ever had. It's so soft and juicy as well. I was so impressed. Apparently there's only a limited amount of steak! + Uni spaghetti 3/5: Unfortunately, the uni was kinda fishy otherwise it would've been tasty. Overall, I had a great time at Mignon and would come back again for HH!“

“We visited this establishment for the first time on Superbowl Sunday. I have never seen a manager go so above and beyond for his guests than I witnessed at the Den. It was crowded, but he went out of his way to find seating for us and took great care of us. He was very visible during the very crowded time and could be seen helping his staff. When we are back in the Hollywood area, we will revisit here just for the customer service alone, although the food and drinks were 5 star as well.“

“Went there for a quick lunch. Ordered $22 bento box. Decent quantity with quality food. ? friendly and professional service. The environment was good too- not a lot of people. “Great spot! I came here 10 years ago, and was delighted to find out it is still open. Same charm: dark wood, sweeping curtains, smokey cocktails, red leather couches, jazz music. We had the chicken bites, a glass of cab sauv, and one of the lychee cocktails. Everything was good but the lychee wasn't overwhelmingly good- I will probably switch to a whiskey based drink next time. The chicken was a perfect small bite to pair with drinks. Everyone there seemed to be a pair: first dates, deep conversations, etc. There are tables in the main room, couches in the fireplace room, and a long bar.“

“obsessed! what a cute spot right on Sunset Blvd. it's hard to find restaurants w/ good vegan options & all the dishes here were phenomenal. particularly enjoyed the broccolini, mushroom & potato, green goddess salad, mushroom risotto!! the hummus was fire too. service was great , it's a total vibe inside. we came on a sunday night & it was jampacked. definitely coming back!“

“Very nice ambiance. Came for dinner with family. Server was good. Ordered the cuckoo's nest to drink. It was like a refreshing cucumber juice. We ordered the Gypsy bacon pizza, paella, crispy ribs and tomahawk steak. The pizza tasted like a sandwich with the bacon, tomatoes, and pickles. The crispy ribs were really good, soft and tender. The paella came with pasta which was different but good. The sausage that came in the paella was really tasty and the shrimp was pretty big. I was getting so full once I got to the tomahawk steak but it was very juicy and great flavor.“

“I am beyond sad that Bar Moruno has closed. But I was overjoyed to be there on closing night and celebrate with the regulars that had packed the place to bid their farewells. I have eaten there countless times and was shocked to read that they were closing. It seemed to be packed every time i went so I am at a loss as to why they chose to cease operations.I decided to sit at the bar so I could socialize with the bartenders, all of which have been there pretty much since day one. My favorite cocktail is their coconut gin martini, an unforgettable mix of coconut gin, white vermouth, matcha tincture and celery bitters. I cannot get enough of this drink and, thankfully, one of the bartenders taught me how to make it so I can continue enjoying it at home. SCORE!!! I also ordered their radicchio salad which pairs nicely with the cocktail. The salad is huge in comparison to many of their other dishes so I was more than happy to share with those around me.It was a joyous occasion that night and I treasures spending time with so many other regular customers. “Service was great, and the restaurant is a fun vibe. Go with a big group so you can try a variety of dishes. We tried the cauliflower, beets, hummus, panzanella salad, oyster mushrooms, branzino, potatoes, and some friends had the rib eye. For dessert we tried the baklava pie and the olive oil ice cream. The panzanella was my favorite dish, but overall everything was solid. It's in a small strip mall and has a few parking spots which is an added bonus.“

“This was a great find. We had originally planned to go somewhere else but they weren't able to accommodate a vegetarian. We ended up coming to Anju House and are so happy we did.The portions are big and for the price I think it's very reasonable. The food was well spiced and tasted good. “Came here on a Friday night for a girls dinner with some friends. Food was excellent!! Loved everything we got. Drinks were also very good - I recommend the espresso martini but the wine I ordered was also fantastic. Service was not slow but definitely drawn out so I’d plan on taking your time which we were happy to do! Our server was wonderful. Overall great experience and would come back again.“

“I've been here a few times and am always pretty happy. The service is prompt, the drinks are good and alcohol forward, and the mid-lobby location is convenient and approachable. Some of the drinks are pricy, but I think that is more justifiable given the bar's prestigious location right next to the Crypto center.“

“While I was staying at the hotel, this became my go-to place to sit and get something to eat when I didn't feel like going out. The indoor/outdoor flow is perfect on a nice night if it's cool enough to sit by the fire. The drinks are incredible variations on classic cocktails, but the bartenders are knowledgeable and can make you anything with their stocked bar. My only complaint I had is that the bar has inconsistent hours. Some of the evenings they were closed by 11:00 and some it was open until well after midnight or 1:00. I was told this is guided by how busy they are on any given night. Keep this in-mind before you plan an evening around a nightcap.“

The only problem for me was the popcorn shrimps were pretty disappointing, there were more flour then the actual shrimps. I love shrimps so I was pretty disappointed about it. Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice).
