“We were going to be in town for my grandson's Birthday so we decided to order an ice cream cake ahead of time near where we would be.I am very picky and ordered a special cake with ice cream chosen for each little cone that would be on top of the cake and of course a special ice cream that they did not have on their list for the month. I did this by phone. The woman I spoke to was very nice and assured me my order would be right and ready on time. It was.The place is just spotless and the service is wonderful. We were so pleased with the cake. It was great. We also had some ice cream while we were there and it too was wonderful.We especially loved the service from the B&R. It was just perfection.Have a great time eating some ice cream.“

“What a delightful bakery and coffee shop! I stumbled upon this gem looking around Chinatown for some boba. Their drinks are on the steeper side but they are so good!! Even the cups are cute. I saved my cup after the boba cause the quality of it is so well made that I have to use it again. For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11.They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. The Hello Kitty goth cake was next level.You can find baked treats, custards, mini cakes, and snow ice here ☺️?There’s some seating inside and along the window a few tables and chairs. It’s a delightful spot to look out and gaze at busy Chinatown.Parking is available along the streets in metered spots.Everyone working there was super nice and the service was fast despite the line.“

“I came here to try the cakes. We got the sampler box and was so impressed with the cakes itself. They were extremely tasty, flavorful and rich with flavor. The service was great. It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. We really liked the ube cake, black sesame, Belgian chocolate and lavender lemon.“

“Ordered the 12" Square famous Strawberry Whipped Crème cake for our monthly office birthday celebrations-- and it was a total hit for 40 sweet tooth employees (serves up to 50 I think). Very fresh and sweet fruits and the whipped crème was light and delicious. Cake also moist and just a touch of sweet. Easy to cut but it's a very tall cake so needed help to keep the slices in tact haha I was in awe watching the owner (?) freestyle write a birthday message on the cake with such ease. Very kind staff (even made sure we wanted the nuts on the outside out of concern for any food allergies). Would order again for sure and look forward to trying more of their confections!“

She left a bad review, but the owner reached out to my wife to make accommodations, which is generous.We ordered 3 types of cupcakes, Devils Food, Carrot, and Birthday Cake. I'm happy to say that these are absolutely delicious. Carrot cake is by far the best, but I'm also a fan of savory and spices, then Devils Food follows. Definitely the environment felt welcoming and especially the young girl taking control front end with a very positive and well attended to costumers!! When I say I took a bite at the Oreo chocolate slice cake I purchased, wow! Definitely what I was looking for taste and texture from a cake. The cake sponge wasn’t dry nor soggy but texture was at its best touch, the pairing with the frosting wasn’t overwhelming with sweetness but the perfect touch. “We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

“We just placed an order for our wedding cake. Irvine was amazing! He shared his favorites with us and we were able to try different flavors. Honestly, we still had other cake shops to visit, but it was his attentive service that made us decide and place an order on the spot. I can't wait to receive our cake so I can show the pictures. I will say that that every flavor we tried was delicious. We had the marble, vanilla with buttercream, red velvet, and lemon cakes. The place is super clean and very well lit. “We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“

If you're coming from Barrington and turn right on Olympic, it's easy to then turn right on the street that JFB is located. If you're coming the opposite way, Olympic turning left to get there it's kinda dangerous imo!“

“Great lil mom-and-pop bakery! Service is great and has a large shared parking lot. This is a no-frills kind of bakery. Generally, what they offer aren't fancy but are solid basic korean-style pastries. I especially like their white bean pastry. And my goodness, they do not skimp on their fillings! Just that alone will have me coming back. Haven't gotten their cakes but they look nice and are fairly priced. They also sell coffee and korean shaved ice, which I'll have to try one day! “This is actually one of the nicest BR I have been to, ever. It is very modern with dine in, carryout, AND drive-through options. It is clean and well lit as well as well stocked. I liked this place because they had a lot of other dessert treats besides just ice cream. Treats like their standard ice cream cakes and bananas, but also different ones like their mango fruit bars and mini personal ice cream cakes. The service was ok. There were four employees, and it seemed that if you don't let someone help you right away, you may have to wait a bit. I think just know what you want when you get there and it should work out fine. Also, I'm not sure about your local BR, but ours does not accept the deals offered through the app on our phones. I suppose they are an independently owned BR?
