“I am lost for words, the food always amazing the customer service is WOW!!! down side I don't know who to give credit to, since both times I been there they don't have name tags or they don't introduce themselves. If you wanna feel welcome then this is the place for you.“
“Rib Shack serves up some real quality BBQ in a quaint, homey location. I'm mid way through a SoCal BBQ kick and stopped here with some friends after the San Diego Spartan. Food was ordered at the counter and served in Styrofoam containers, which we ate in the patio seating area. The selection is great, from your standard meats (brisket, ribs, tri tip) to more off the beaten path choices like catfish. You can order most options as a sandwich or part of a combo platter. Of what we tried, the ribs were the clear winner (truly fall off the bone tender), but everything else was great as well. The Mac and Cheese side also deserves its own shout-out - the perfect level of creamy and cheesy! Everything is clearly smoked on-site - you can actually see the smoker from the outdoor seating area, which is a neat touch. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area or passing through!“
“I am from East County and used to the El Cajon/La Mesa locations. Walking in here felt and looked the exact same, if I woke up in there I would swear I was on Fletcher Parkway. Great friendly service with a delicious menu. A lady walked out saying how fantastic it was and telling everyone that walked by they needed to try it. What does that tell you?Parking: We parked directly in front of the door. It is a huge lot with several businesses and a lot of parking.Kid-friendliness: I always went here as a kid. There aren't any toys or anything except for a few gumball/toy machines at the entrance. I'm sure they have a coloring placemat.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, wide enough entrance and walkway, tables spaced apart.“
“Super fun experience, I've never had Korean BBQ in a restaurant like this before. Not bad for a first time visit. I'm a pescatarian so my dishes were somewhat limited. The seafood offerings are great don't get me wrong. I was with family and it was a wonderful experience overall. The bulgogi, baby octopus, chicken, beef, sides were tasty?, everyone had a great time we were there for like 2hrs?, we have a big family. Corn cheese... get it!!“
“Swiss Grill is Back! After a health issue these guys are back and better than ever! Their chicken is AMAZING but I was also BLOWN AWAY with their ribs. You know you are eating great ribs when nobody is asking for sauce. They are so good they don't need sauce! I caught them at Vista's Saturday market, but they also go to other venues, I also caught up with them at Lawrence welk resort in Escondido on a Monday after they sold out on Saturday in Vista!“
“Quaint small town restaurant. Food was great and served quickly. Went for the burger but got the prime rib Instead. The cut was great and medium rare was perfect. Served with a salad and baked Potatoe. No issues with the service as they were very attentive and were very accommodating to request's after food was served.“
