Our server on the first visit was Bella and she did a great job, was very attentive and pleasant. “This was our first time trying Mimi’s Café in Apple Valley, and we had such a great experience! We ordered the Crabcake Benedict and decided to share it — our waiter was incredibly nice and thoughtful. He even offered to split the dish onto separate plates for us, which made everything so convenient and enjoyable. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service made us feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and I have to say — the bathroom was spotless, which is always a good sign of a well-managed place. We’re so glad we stopped in and will definitely be coming back. A great first impression all around!”

“It is a typical Carl's Jr. establishment. I have been at this joint many times, while visiting my family in High Desert. The meals, that I would order, were quite delicious. At the same time, they were not on the expensive side. The wait lines, usually, were not long. Furthermore, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the place was quite clean. Definitely, I will visit this place again. Of course, I will only visit, after the pandemic is over. I have many good memories, eating or ordering meals, with my family members!”

Also LOVE the tempura appetizer the chef offered — I wouldn’t have thought to order this on my own so I’m grateful for the thoughtful and delicious addition to my meal. The lady who served me was also very sweet and helpful. I’m glad I had her as my server! Wish I got her name so I could give her credit here (she looked to be in her early 20’s, brown hair and eyes, and wore dark glasses). I dined by myself and enjoyed it but I think this place would be even better as a date spot. Overall, very good experience. I’ll have to come back some time :)”

“My mind was scrambled eggs. Dusty from the road less traveled and a little worn for wear. I need to clean my boots. A sign. Tokyo, like the city, Glowing in the dusk of polluted desert skies along a busy street 2 hours from nowhere. Dining alone I walked to the bar, may I was in order. “Ichiban, tall.” The chef, Kazu, careful not to be seen in his quick study of customers, cleaning the skin from a salmon filet, sharp is his knife, asks if I’m ready. I order off the menu, otoro and uni sushi. “If you have it.” He does. It’s glorious. I ask for a plate of sashimi, his choice, “I like everything from tamago to saba” indicating my adventurous side despite my American heritage. Again he obliges. Textures, flavors, chile, wasabi, playing with my senses so delightful. Im floating now in the ether, buying a beer for the chef which he opens to a cheers, the universal language on a plate, a shared emotion, his love for craft apparent. I almost forgot my jacket by the time I cleared my plate. I never the question the price of the experience, as it is priceless. And this man, in this place, at this time in my life is worth every single penny. 2 thumbs up, a cheers and an applause. Thank you chef. Ora ge chicken, black pepper chicken, beef and peppers, chow mein, fried rice as well as dumplings, spring rolls, salad bar, fresh fruit and a wide selection of deserts.”

I just shared a large Chicken Sinigang, a Beef Kaldereta, Chicken Pansit, and an order of Lumpia with 2 other adults AND THERE ARE STILL LEFTOVERS!!! . The Beef was SO TENDER, and had just the perfect kick that it lingers in the mouth making you want to go back for more. I REALLY hope they make it with Goat sometime, I'd love to try their take on that. . The Chicken was falling off the bone and SO JUICY!! And those radishes!! WOW, tender as soft boiled potatoes. . I can say that I've never had a Pansit with as much variety of veggies that was as balanced with the meat portion without being overwhelmed by either. This has been by far my favorite Pansit I've had to date. . But the Lumpia.... not just veggies and rice noodles. These have MEAT inside! Fluffy, flavored, savory meat and veggies that with their sauce (I dipped a few in the Beef Kaldereta, won't lie, I LOVE that kick!) that sweet & sour with that kick.... I'm drooling again just thinking about it. . This is a FANTASTIC hole in the wall that should be tried by everyone at least once. There is something for EVERYONE here!”

It serves both quality traditional toppings, like all-beef pepperoni, Italian turkey sausage, fresh herbs and veggies, mozarella and other italian cheeses, thick pomodoro, alfredo, and pesto sauces, but also has Mediterranean toppings, like chicken shwarma, feta cheese, zatar seasoning and lamb gyro meat if you're in the mood for something different. Kate crafted the pizzas for us and answered all of our questions. We ordered 4 personal pizzas, Korean BBQ wings with ranch and drinks. Kate brought everything to our table quickly, was very friendly, and asked us if we needed to-go boxes for our left overs. The pizzas were hot out of oven, cooked just right and the Korean BBQ wings were tasty and surprisingly spicy! We will be back.”

“Excellent food that has its own authenticity. We have tried many of their unique burgers, and never been disappointed. Even our teenager wants to go with us if we tell him we’re going to Manny’s! One MUST TRY is the peanut butter horchata. I’ve enjoyed the PB&J burger and the BBQ Mac&Cheese burger. Also amazing is their carne asada fries. Delish, FILLING, and never disappoints!”
