“Shaks came recommended to us by our wedding photographer. Upon finding out they were Armenian Lebanese (same as my family!), we knew we would book with them. As we lived out of the country, our parents went to the menu tasting and had the time of their lives. They came back raving about the place and said we have to book. Totally didn't understand the assignment of narrowing down the menu items we should have on the big day, lol. but that's a testament to how good the food is (especially the fresh falafel). Andrew was so helpful on calls, as he is very busy and emails weren't the best method of communication, and answered all of our questions, worked within our parameters and with a ton of integrity. The team was a delight on the day of and worked their tails off in the kitchen with a smile and in front of the guests. The food was a hit with the guest and I am still thinking about the garlic that I'm sure I smelled like on the wedding night because I just couldn't get enough, lol. The leftovers were awesome to have and to share with guests, too. We will be visiting Shak's when we're in the area as a nostalgia trip!!”

“Family owned Italian restaurant with pride in everything that they do and everything they serve. Our meal was perfect, from the homemade bread to my pasta primavera and the spumoni after the meal. We got the opportunity to chat with one of the family members about the history of this fine eatery and that just reinforced the dining experience. It is like family there; our server was in her 14th year. They must be doing something right!

“We made the drive from LEGOLAND since this place had the best reviews in the area for pizza. It was definitely worth the drive. Louie, the owner, made some excellent pizzas for the family (including some picky kids) to enjoy. He knew the regulars by name, which is always a great sign.

The pizza was excellent, a thinner and crispy crust with a good amount of toppings. The pepperoni was perfectly caramelized with a bit of crunch, just the way I like it. Great service too, with a quaint atmosphere.

I will go out of my way to come again on our short trip from out of town.

“I can't believe I'm going to say this but I have never been to the Original Pancake house before. The ambiance was very nice - bright, happy, green. The service was decent. We ordered the pecan pancakes, the chicken crepe, orange juice and hot chocolate. The pecan pancakes were fine. The chicken crepe was surprisingly good. The hot chocolate was decent. The price is ok. Lots of parking in the area. We will be back!”

Service was very good; we were the only people in there today and everything was quick. They were attentive without hovering, and very accommodating.

The menu prices were outdated and they were out of some things - this place needs a little love and more customers.

My fiancé and I had fettuccine Alfredo, penne arrabiata, two Cokes, and garlic bread. We spent $38 (plus tip). My fiancé enjoyed the fettuccine - there are carrots in it, which give it an earthy flavor. I had a bite and would add a bit of salt and crushed red pepper, but that’s my taste. I enjoyed the arrabiatta. It’s a spicy pasta, around a medium to hot in a Mexican food scale. The sauce was chunky and they didn’t skimp on the Parmesan, which was powdered. The garlic bread was a great texture, crunchy and buttery and soft all at once.

We will definitely return, and I encourage you to go if you want a quiet night with comfort food at a good price.”

“Fun brewery with a solid golf theme. Tons of places to sit I side and out. Very dog friendly. There is even a dog area outside where you can have a beer with your fur buddies. Inside, there is a large indoor golfing simulator. This is a great brewery for work events and after work happy hour. It definitely has a professional and upscale vibe to it. Staff is wonderful, and they have a large area where you can buy merchandise, beer, and glasses.

The pizza was horrible! They said when I called later it was $17.99 plus the garlic knotts were 5.99. Delivery guy was 6 bucks. Total was 35.00. Terrible terrible pizza. I will never order from them again!!!! I only did because my son ordered it for me cause I’m handicapped,unable to pick up stuff. Not only that but they don’t even carry Parmesan or red pepper upon delivery. They probly charge extra for that too. Wow! I called the next day and the girl on the phone would not even even acknowledge me. I had to ask if she was still there. I hope they get shut down!!!!!!!!!”

Yesterday my husband and I stopped by at noon to pick up 3 dozens of donuts to take to our cousins viewing in Tj. We told this to the lady helping us, then she said "wait, let me give you something!"
