Restaurantji's Winters guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“The woman and man behind this restaurant are pillars of our community. Not only are these the best tacos. These are the best people. I absolutely love this place and considerate a treat to be there. the red salsa is I think the best salsa on the planet. The seasonality changes depending on where they get the jalapeños from but it's always simply the best.“
“I love that this Taco bell doesn't close early just because there's no customers at that moment... Because you best believe that at the closing time approaches(12pm) there's a bunch of us racing the clock to get there before it's too late to eat... luckily I made it and I look in my rear view mirror to see 4 cars being me in the drive thru“
“We arrived at this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The staff were very polite and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.“
“Best Mexican food in town! La comida esta deliciosa y authentica! (The food is delicious and authentic). We got home Pedro's super torta and Green chilaquiles (my favorite and always on point!) The super torta is for a big appetite. These plates can be shared.“
“Food was great server was really nice the asada was fresh good authentic Mexican food. All you Liberals complaining about no mask stay at home and make your own food if you're so critical of people wearing mask, I'm sorry all of you bought the government lie. This is what to expect from a cantina very good flavorful food. There is a reason they have been open for 30 years. You mask wearing people are the reason they don't have 5 stars. Salsa is on point to so stop hating or just stay home and cook you own food while not wearing a mask.“
“I’m glad we went here for lunch because it was really good, just as we remembered. (My grandson and I) I had the taco special - 3 pork tacos with beans and rice and included a soda. 13.99 and the tacos ? AND the beans and rice were delicious. My grandson got his favorite - a bean and cheese burrito ?This restaurant was my daughter’s favorite- she passed away almost 9 years ago now. So we are long time customers and will continue!“
“We hade been waiting forever for them to open and it was well worth it! The inside is clean, bright and cheerful. We always get great service and delicious food! I recommend the Pozole. It comes in a huge bowl full of pork and hominy simmered in a tasty broth..Yum!“
“Drive thru take out us our norm. We enjoy Taco Bell at least a few times a month for lunch or dinner. I have had breakfast burritos, too. It's good fast food, especially if you develop favorites, but some of my favorites are gone. I prefer burritos now and crunchwraps. They have more diet sodas than other fast food places.“
“Was a bit of a wait. The food wasn’t as hot as I expected and the taco shell didn’t taste as crispy as I would have preferred.Staff were nice and friendly. Was passing through the area. So not sure if I would visit again. But definitely fine for a quick stop by if you are driving through the town.“
“We were in town visiting family last evening so we decided to come here for dinner around 5pm. Liz was nice enough to put together a couple tables for us. They brought 2 baskets of homemade tortilla chips & mild salsa for $2.50, which was yummy. They also have a self serve salsa bar with both mild and hot salsa. My sister & I each got a Modelo Negra beer $6ea. & my husband got a soda $3.50 I thoroughly enjoyed my Super Wet Chicken Burrito $13.50 which was HUGE!!!! I even have at least 2 days of leftovers. Several of us were even dipping our chips in the red sauce that was on top of my burrito. My mom and her boyfriend both got the Chili Relleno combo plate $14ea which they said were delicious. My mom even commented about the Spanish rice being some of the best she'd ever had. My sister & my husband both enjoyed their A La Carte Chimichanga's $11.50ea. Liz did a great job checking on us, and refilling our waters. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.“
