“Stopped in for a drink after skiing weekday early afternoon, tried the brussel sprouts app and chicken sandwich which was absolute heaven. It's a cute old renovated minors cottage and it's small, no reservations. I waited about 10 mins for a spot at the bar. Service was excellent. My Bloody perfect. Down side might be table waits for parties bigger than two.“
“This place is tiny, but has all of the goodies! The gelato is OMG good. The sample tastes they handed out were huge as well, allowing you to really get the flavor. The staff were super nice as well. I had the Black Forrest (delicious dark cherries and a slab of dark chocolate) and the Banana Nut (banana ice cream with peanut butter and nuts). A mini cookie on top was an additional surprise! Unique homemade flavors. I’ll be back!“
“The food is amazing. Such unique flavors and the ambience is so peaceful. A hidden gem truly. Had brunch there for my birthday and then came back for dinner the same weekend. The staff is super friendly too. Definitely a must visit when in Aspen. Few minutes walk from the Aspen airport.“
“My favorite restaurant in Aspen. Hands down. Recently changed ownership and still 5*****. Everything on the menu is great - portion sizes are generous - so don't over order! You won't be disappointed and it has something for everyone.“
“This place is THE spot amongst Aspen locals. We came in after a long ski day after a recommendation from a friend who raved about it, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s small and tucked out of the way, but the food is good and WHERE ELSE IN ASPEN can you get a burrito for $12? Nowhere. Amazing. We will be back again soon. It’s usually pretty packed.“
“Loved this place. It’s just the right spot for a great dinner without having to get too dressed up. It may look like a normal bar, but the food was outstanding. The pirogi appetizer is a must. My only critique is that the hot drinks we had for dessert missed the “
“4.7 The appetizers and pastas were absolutely delicious! This was some of the best Foie Gras I've ever had which pushed this review to 5 stars. The Cacio E Pepe was fresh and you can tell the pastas were home made. It was also cool some of the ingredients for the gnocchi special were housed from an employees local garden/farm. The main dishes lacked some seasoning and were a little lack luster compared to the Apps but would go back for those dishes for sure!!“
“As far an on-mountain “fast-food” goes, this place is up there! The Apple Strudel, which was highly recommended, was good, but could have been warmer. I had the hot-dog, very good and bigger than a normal hot-dog. Staff were friendly and the service was fast. Hard to find seating during prime lunch hours, but we managed to find a good seat. Views are fantastic.“
“If you happen to be staying at The Little Nell or visiting Aspen make brunch reservations at Element 47. Pancake lovers: try the Lemon Soufflé Pancakes, there’s just the right amount of citrus in these decadent fluffy pancakes. Vegans & avo toast lovers try the Avocado Toast. Plentiful, perfectly seasoned mashed avocado with feta & pickled onions on house baked bread is superb. Another vegan option is the Warrior Pudding Bowl, this healthy dish is super flavorful, light yet filling. Ingredients include quinoa, hemp, chia & oat. The Nell’s famous Hot Cocoa is rich, creamy & a quintessential tribute to Valrhona’s top of the heap chocolate. The recipe includes half & half, sugar, Valrhona cocoa powder & chocolate. It’s unreal! I’m a pastry fanatic so I always can’t wait to hear what flavor hand pie (pop tart esque) is on the menu. I also stash one in my ski back pack, makes the chairlift ride even more fun!“
“We were looking for a casual simple place to eat, and we found it at the Ale House! We just had to walk out the door at the Ritz and it was very convenient. The special soup was really delicious. My husband enjoyed his Caesar salad and our friends raved about the turkey club sandwich. There's not much service you go up to the counter order and then they bring you the food. Great views of Aspen Highlands. I hope to go back again before we leave.“
“We have been there many times. The owner is always there overseeing and that's why it is so well run and organized. The food is interesting and beautifully plated, delicious and consistent. We always leave looking forward to the next time. Our favorite restaurant in Aspen!“
“I do recommend Hickory House but I’m not happy my past 2 delivery orders. Ordered the double meat burger well done March 15 but arrived medium rare. Placed order March 20 for double meat burger well done and once again arrived medium rare. This time I called the restaurant but was told there was nothing they could do. I hope they decide to credit me for the burger I received tonight.“
“The food and wine both were truly outstanding. The service was sporadic; they could have used additional help. The dining room views are to die for, and we loved the space between the tables and the privacy that affords. Only one constructive criticism: the sourdough bread and its delicious lemony butter should be included with the meal. Would by itself be a drawcard to dine at West End Social! Just slightly increase the prices of other menu items. Overall, a TERRIFIC experience“
“A modern farm to table cafe at the roof top of Aspen Art museum. The sitting area is spacious and modern. They use fresh and high quality ingredients. The views overlooking the surrounding mountains is gorgeous. The prices are not cheap but that is the norm in“
“Fast and tasty place to grab a quick meal for lunch or dinner. Even though we came close the closing the staff was so friendly and let us take our time. Chicken Quesadillas were hot and excellent. Grilled cheese on wheat bread was O.K. Ambience isn’t cozy but there were some fun coffee-table books to look over. Plus the soda machine is one of those modern ones where it has a touch-screen. Neat!“
“Delightful restaurant and great food! All of the “shareable” foods were really tasty and the service was fast and attentive. Buffalo chili was also excellent. The atmosphere is also nice, cozy, and away from the hustle and bustle of the mountain. Definitely better than a lot of the on-mountain options, but still easy to get to on your skis.“
“We split the devious Caesar salad. We each had the Colorado trout that was tasty with unique flavors. Very much enjoyed. Friend ordered a delectable bananas foster. He also ordered a drink. 22% gratuity auto added to the bill. Bill came to $104 each“
“Best sports bar in Aspen! Every game on a NFL Sunday. Better TVs w crisp picture. Fresh craft beer on tap. Full bar. Good food. Across Highway from Highland Skiing. Easy free parking. Part of Aspen cross country ski center. Reasonable prices. Nice to get some natural “
“The ambiance is beautiful, service was attentive. The various course were very good. The only 2 item that fell short was the rib eye special...it was fatty and not flavorful and the trout....it was dry and wasn't presented as nicely as the other dishes. At this price point everything should be 100% on the mark.I look forward to returning in the future.“
“One of the few places in Aspen you can get food after 10 o’clock at night. The staff is absolutely fantastic and loves doing what they do. Great place to stop and grab a late night burger, and beer. It’s good bar, food, greasy burger, and chicken wings, but you can order a salad or chicken wrap if you would like. Great place to end your evening.“
“The Boo is the place to be. Had a nice Xmas dinner here with family and friends after getting stuck in Denver. Sommelier made exceptional recommendations to pair with our meals. Desserts are a must. Dance floor is a vibe. One of my fave places in A-town to dance the night (and dinner) away.“
“An incredible dining experience. Every plate was outstanding with many subtleties. Timing of the meal and the serving attention was outstanding. I would have liked there to be a less expensive wine by the glass. Ambiance was nice with low key lighting and a beautiful bar.“
