“Just tried them and it’s AMAZING. The staff is so sweet and welcoming, plus they have a variety of foods that are delicious! They are one of the only places here in the springs I can find calamansi juice, which I recommend trying if you’ve never had it before. You guys are amazing! 🩷“

“I tried going here early this year, I set up a dinner with a buddy on a Tuesday, but didn’t realize they were only open Wed-Sat. It frankly wasn’t a priority to come back sooner. What a mistake! Last night, my woman said she was in the mood for some chicken, I remembered this place, and when I mentioned it, she said she was in the mood for BBQ. She’s not gluten-free, but let’s just say her mind was blown that a dedicated GF place could be this good. I got the two meat plate (brisket & turkey) and she got ribs. For sides we got meaty beans, fried brussel sprouts, and fried smashed potato. The sides were mind blowing. The ribs were exquisite! The turkey was the best I’ve ever had! The brisket was really good. I’ve been to most of the best BBQ places in KC. I’ve been to a bunch of great rated BBQ places in Texas and the Carolinas … this place compares. You know how a lot of places you feel sluggish or weighed down aftera meal vs. other places when you eat you feel light and your body feels great? I felt amazing after! No sluggishness. I can tell they use quality meats and ingredients! The owner, Joshua, came to us a few times to talk to us … what a fantastic dude. He mentioned that they’re looking to expand with the space next door and he’s considering a GoFundMe to pay for it … I’m in! I’m now a raving fan and this will be a regular place that I’ll take family, friends, and guests. Easily one of my Top 3 eats in Colorado Springs. So many things on the menu that I’m looking forward to trying!“

Today there was a mixup in the charge (1/4 lb brisket was charged the same as 1/2 lb), but the manager took care of it promptly and with kindness.

“I came with some friends to eat and hit the moist brisket, which was great. They got the regular brisket and it eneded up being dry and seemed overcooked. They spoke to a manager and they took care if the issue promptly. Everyone was happy. Thank you for the great food and service!

The fries and okra are prepared as they are ordered and are served fresh and hot. The fries are nice and firm, not mealy at all. The brisket was good and the hot links too. Portions are generous. The staff is great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back. You can’t miss with this place.“

“Ozzie’s went above and beyond for me to pull together a catering order for a corporate Veterans Day event in the middle of a snow storm. I placed the order a week or so in advance and the staff was incredibly helpful in recommending items for my group. The day before the event we got hit with snow that continued on to the event date. They fulfilled the order despite the weather and the ribs were falling off the bone. If you haven’t yet, give this place a try!! Food and service are both exceptional.“

“It was my wife's birthday tonight. We had a rough day in regards to things and wanted to get to the restaurant earlier but didn't end up there until 8:15 when they closed at 9pm. We are in the service industry and don't like coming in that late.

Our server Lolita gave us a great experience and we enjoyed her delightful demeanor and her willingness to talk. Out food came out promptly and we'll cooked. Thanks Lolita.“

“Stage Stop is my favorite place in the COS area to grab dinner and drinks. The building is adorably charming. The drive out is scenic. The brisket is the best we’ve had in this area. “Was a bit of a trick to find (is hidden in the corner of the buildings), but the food was spot-on from what remember from Daegu and Seoul Korea (though they didn't have whole-clove garlic onthe tables, which I kinda missed lol)...definitely give a 9/10 :)“

“First time I went into this restaurant since it change from the Chinese restaurant. They really changed the inside of the place, updated it, nicely done inside the lobby. I got a recommendation from the lady that was on the counter as it is my first time in here since Chinese restaurant was there prior. Took the food home and had it at my place, the food was outstanding. I had the Hawaiian dish rice macaroni salad three types of marinated barbecue meat . With some cooked cabbage laying underneath. It all tasted great. They gave me plenty of food, well flavored. I don't know if you guys have been to this place yeah I recommend people trying it out it's right across the street from Monica's restaurant on Fillmore between Cascade and Nevada“

“Walked in after a show at Ford Amphitheater. Even though it was close to closing time, we were sat quickly and without hesitation. We sat at the bar and had access to the full menu. The food was great (pork slider appetizer) and the drink was yummy and strong (mule)! The bartender was friendly and the staff all seem to get along and work well together. Will visit again next time I’m in the area and try an entree.“
