“So never coming here and brought by a local friend, walking in out of the 7 people at the counter SAM came over as my family looked confused at the menu, he said have you guys been here before? We said no we were waiting for our friend and gonna look at the menu, he offered how it works and. Was super friendly, out of the other 6 people Sam was amazing what a good worker you have, and the food was great, I got the brisket, which was top notch! We will be back when we come this way to the spring best bbq around since we live in Arvada. Great experience. Love they do the national anthem go America!!“

“Update: Unfortunately, due to 5 negative experiences in a row at Porkbutt, I feel inclined to alter my review. Because of constantly being out of items / deciding to opt for Gold Peak tea instead of the delicious fresh brew they had been using, I don’t think I will be visiting again any time soon. I’ve tried once or twice per week for a month to visit, and each time had to go elsewhere. But the tea thing really was a big blow for me. I LOVED their fresh house made iced tea. 😞 My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try Porkbutt BBQ for a while and finally had the opportunity yesterday. We pulled up at 11:52 and waited in the car since they don’t open till noon. They opened early at 11:55. The staff was 10/10. Knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. The food was INCREDIBLE. My boyfriend is a Rudy’s fan, but I’m not since they don’t have good sides in my opinion. But Porkbutt has amazing meat and sides. We got chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, iced tea, lemonade, and he got the brisket grenade. The cheese sauce on the mac n cheese and grenade was so unique, I asked a staff member what that unique flavor was that gave it just the tiniest kick, and she said hatch green chiles. It was really good. The nuggets aren’t frozen bagged nuggets, they are fresh cut chicken thighs breaded and fried to order. And everything in the restaurant is gluten free. They also have all sauces made from scratch, including the ranch which I dipped my nuggets and sweet potato fries in. And I’m an iced tea snob, and the tea was SO GOOD. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the mac n cheese noodles were a little too soft for me, but still delicious. Even their business name and logo are adorable. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I came with some friends to eat and hit the moist brisket, which was great. They got the regular brisket and it eneded up being dry and seemed overcooked. They spoke to a manager and they took care if the issue promptly. Everyone was happy. Thank you for the great food and service!

“Build your plate. I had brisket, hot links, okra and fries. This is the best restaurant okra I’ve ever had. Being from Mississippi, I know fried okra. The fries and okra are prepared as they are ordered and are served fresh and hot. The fries are nice and firm, not mealy at all. The brisket was good and the hot links too. Portions are generous. The staff is great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back. You can’t miss with this place.“

“Ozzie’s went above and beyond for me to pull together a catering order for a corporate Veterans Day event in the middle of a snow storm. I placed the order a week or so in advance and the staff was incredibly helpful in recommending items for my group. The day before the event we got hit with snow that continued on to the event date. They fulfilled the order despite the weather and the ribs were falling off the bone. If you haven’t yet, give this place a try!! Food and service are both exceptional.“

“It was my wife's birthday tonight. We had a rough day in regards to things and wanted to get to the restaurant earlier but didn't end up there until 8:15 when they closed at 9pm. We are in the service industry and don't like coming in that late.

Our server Lolita gave us a great experience and we enjoyed her delightful demeanor and her willingness to talk. Out food came out promptly and we'll cooked. Thanks Lolita.“

“First time I went into this restaurant since it change from the Chinese restaurant. They really changed the inside of the place, updated it, nicely done inside the lobby. I got a recommendation from the lady that was on the counter as it is my first time in here since Chinese restaurant was there prior. Took the food home and had it at my place, the food was outstanding. I had the Hawaiian dish rice macaroni salad three types of marinated barbecue meat . With some cooked cabbage laying underneath. It all tasted great. They gave me plenty of food, well flavored. I don't know if you guys have been to this place yeah I recommend people trying it out it's right across the street from Monica's restaurant on Fillmore between Cascade and Nevada“

“Parker was an amazing waiter. He slipped in a few small jokes, all at the right time and place. I felt like he was coming out of his comfort zone, and I was 100% there for it. The salmon was a little overdone on the outside because they added the sauce a little too early, so it burnt a little too much to the outside, it was chalky. But everything else was great. We will be back.“
