“What a great experience. We were a massive group of adults and kids and they were completely accommodating. They gave us a table for just the kids. They took care of splitting bills to respective families and they did this all without skipping a beat or showing any hesitation or frustration. The staff was amazing from beginning to end. I highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and the ambiance was on point. I most definitely go back and you should definitely pay them a visit.Vegetarian options: Many options.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. We were able to get a table just for the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entrance and tables.“
“Nestled downtown Durango sits a hidden gem with delicious rich home style food, marvelous service and sense of stepping back in time. This diner is a local favorite and the photos on the wall seems to show the visits of famous people through the years. The food is cooked behind the bar. The owner Greg, is also of the cooks. Thank you for the lovely food and wonderful service. I definitely recommend. Great job!! Keep it up. ?“
“This has become a staple on all our Durango trips and is a MUST! You can't go wrong with anything you order here.Everything is seasonal, made fresh, from scratch, and is all organic and farm-to-table delicious!Like, how can ketchup be so freaking amazing when I handmade!?!?! OMG! And their fried fingerling potatoes, to die for!!! We got a basic burger and the patty melt, and we were so full at the end!!!I highly recommend trying their floats made from cane sugar and I believe they use a local soda company! So good!!!The view here is just heaven and you have to check out the little market next door! The entire experience is A+++++ and I highly recommend having a picnic here!“
“Great service and great food! We had the stripped sea bass and pork belly. highly recommend both! Probably the best Fish I have had in a long time. So much love went into that dish! Perfectly roasted tomatoes with farrow and garlic. YUM!“
“I liked this restaurant. It had a good atmosphere. I didn't get any "weird owner" vibes like other reviewers. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We really enjoyed the acorn fondue and decided to start making a variation of this at home. It's a great idea! We also took the recommendation of others and had the mushroom pizza, which was really delicious. They had a good wine list, but no decanters. If you have bottles in the $100 range, it would be good to have a few around. Otherwise, I'd go back for the pizza and a glass of wine any day!“
“Ask about the Sherriff and the MarshallEl Moro was recommended to me by the front desk at the Stater Hotel. Typically, I'm skeptical of these recommendations but it was a wonderful evening to stroll up Main street and I soon found myself at the bar of El Moro. The service could not have been better! My glass was kept full of a wonderful liberation (try their twist on a Manhattan, amazing. For me the apple beet salad was unusual and delighted. The dressing is thick and smeared around the inside of the bowl (trust me on this one) and allows you to get just the right amount. The NY strip was fine, nothing that I would seek out again. But the people, so kind, so full of a unique place (check out the food grater lamps around the bar.)Oh, and don't forget to ask your server about the Marshall and the Sheriff.“
