Stopped here on our way home from Telluride and it was great. The servers are very friendly and the food was pretty good. My only complaint was that the hashbrowns were undercooked and bland. Overall good time though.
We asked locals in the area what was a good place to get breakfast. They all suggested The Durango Diner. It was the best referral took. The service was great. Our waitress was on top of drinks and checked on us. Although we hit the rush hour, we were able to get a seat. Our food came hot, fresh, and made to order. It was a cute little diner. I recommend the biscuits and gravy!

Nestled downtown Durango sits a hidden gem with delicious rich home style food, marvelous service and sense of stepping back in time. This diner is a local favorite and the photos on the wall seems to show the visits of famous people through the years. The food is cooked behind the bar. The owner Greg, is also of the cooks. Thank you for the lovely food and wonderful service. I definitely recommend. Great job!! Keep it up. ?
