Cute hole-in-the-wall vibes with seating to match. service was great, food was fantastic, and we didn't wait long for anything despite ordering several things throughout the meal. Would highly recommend the Lime roll or chicken teriyaki rice bowl!
While the food is Solid, this is not a good place to bring a group. The location seats 20 or less guests and tables accommodate 4 or less. Most couples sit at the table making 2 spots unavailable. Our group did a to go order and waited 45 minutes. Multiple other guests came and went during that time so I think our order was put after theirs. We were grumpy by the time we got our food.

Rice Monkey is a fantastic place to eat in Durango. The staff is always welcoming and professional. We haven't tried the sushi yet, mostly because we love the Phō. Their rice bowls are really delicious as well. The only problem is that it's a tight space, so it's usually packed. If you go at an off lunch or supper time you won't be disappointed. ?
