“Cool bar right off the side of the mountain by the condos not in the main area off the gondolas. If you go up the stairs towards the condos from the gondola and main base area you'll reach another dining area and you have to go past that a bit. The margaritas are crazy good and also strong. Service is as quick as it can be for super crowded days. The wings are super good and it's such a fun place to hang out after skiing. It gets so so crowded though especially during spring skiing on weekends. Most chill and fun bar after skiing especially if you have a big group of people.“
“Came in for margs, stayed for dinner! Great casa migos skinny margs. Excellent service - thank you Jose and staff! Great fajitas, Guac, salsa and chile rellanos (soft). Authentic. Left to explore and came back for more. Excellent non-ski town prices.Kid-friendliness: Easy to bring a family here“
“Total gem of a "local" bar. Located downstairs, you have to be looking for it, but worth the look. I love the beer line up, and it's always changing. Only cask ale in town. Great Colorado options for beer, whiskey, and cocktails. The jam cocktails are to die for. I see people complain of the snack options, but hey, it's a bar. The pub cheese is great and if you're drinking they let you bring in food from the surrounding places. Great mix of locals and visitors. Thoughtful bartenders are very knowledgeable of the taps and help to pick the perfect pour. Plenty of TVs and sports. The music volume is low enough to have table conversations. Great place for Aprés Ski. Oh, and Rob Day sucks! (IYKYK)“
“This was our favorite restaurant on the slopes because they have nice bowl options. This also has a great view up and down the mountain. During peak periods I would suggest getting there before 11am or you will not get a table. The bar has a great view up the mountain. The balcony looks down the mountain.“
“Kids went down, ordered and had a drink while they waited for the food to bring home. They said the ordering was a little confusing and different but the atmosphere and vibe was cool. Staff was not the kindest (I give this one a hall pass because how hard it is to find staff). Now for the food - was absolutely fantastic for slope side grub. Pizza, fries and wraps were excellent, however the wings stole show, outstanding!“
“What a wonderful surprise! As native Texans and Mexican food lovers, we were thrilled to find that SB has a true authentic Mexican food restaurant! We love the cozy vibe downstairs. We had great service from Jasmine, and the margaritas were fantastic. There are some true authentic menu items not found anywhere else in town. Great tacos and enchiladas, sauces, etc. I'd love to keep this Steamboat's best kept foodie secret, but the news is too good not to share. Can't wait to go back.“
“5 Stars on a BUSY Saturday night. Carl's did not miss a beat. We walked in during prime time without a reservation and they graciously created a table in the way back. Our server was very attentive and came to take our drink and appetizer orders fairly quickly. Who ever is running this restaurant, the chef and whoever is responsible for ops and the team should win an award. Everyone worked together, things ran smoothly and the all the food we ordered was excellent. We started with the Crispy Brussel Sprout Leaves - MUST HAVE! We then had a Wedge salad, Adult Grilled Cheese and Hamburgers with a great Char and flavor. See pictures of the bar it is quite extensive especially if you love bourbon and whisky - so many choices. I love an old-fashioned and they had so many very interesting options to choose from. Great for families.“
“The food was so over top delicious. Gastronomic delight. We had the rolls with sweet butter, tomato bisque soup, roasted beet salad, and braised short rib. There were so many other choices we would have liked to try but didn't have room. Beautiful painting gs on the wall. Great view of the Yampa River next to the restaurant and Howelson Hill. There's a yurt for a large private party. Outdoor fireplace. Beautiful lounge/bar area also.“
“3 went for dinner. BLT wedge salad and warm spinach salads were great. The bison and 8 oz filet were cooked a perfection. Desserts and accompanying port were fantastic. The only complaint is the finishing of parmesan/ horseradish was tasteless/horrific. They made the 8 oz fillet into a cheeseburger. At the prices they charge, that is unconscionable. So go, spend a lot of money, just don't get any finishes on your steak.“
“This place has a perfect dive bar feel on the inside. It has a relatively small bar and a couple of bartenders that are usually very busy. Where this place excels is out back, where they have lots of tables sprawling over a lovely lawn and patio that backs right up to the Yampa River. The kind of place where you sit at a plastic table in some plastic chairs drinking cheap beer and making some great memories!“
“Saddles is located inside the Sheraton right at the base of Mt. Werner at the end of the slopes. They have a nice outdoor deck with fires. Inside is nice and cozy. Service can be slow- there are 2 spots inside at the bar where you order so that's only 2 people serving the whole place and it gets backed up. However, the drinks are good and the bartenders are very friendly.“
“I had the Bakers Pie Pesto pizza and let me tell you that is hands down the best pizza!!! It was cooked to perfection, I will definitely returning for this pizza. Also the lavender lemonade cider was so good too!! can't wait to come again“
