“Ordered appetizers of onion rings and calamari. It was so delicious I didn't even. Snap a pic! It was literally inhaled. For the main course I ordered the Cobb salad with a add on protein. I choose steak rare. It was to die for!Dietary restrictions: They are very open to changes and questions asked about ingredients.Parking: Lots of parking . Regular and handicap.Kid-friendliness: Had a well rounded child menuWheelchair accessibility: I was able to use the rear entrance opened by staff that was right near the handicap parking. Which was awesome since my dining companion was elderly and handicapped. The bar area though does have a small flight of stairs up. It does have a hand rail if your ambulatory. There are tables on the first floor available if wheel chair use is required. You are by the pool table, awesome basketball score shooter and other games.“

“We all had the filet, I also had the grilled shrimp...everything was excellent. The best steak we have ever had. Delicious flavor, tender, and melt in your mouth heaven. We noticed the previous reviews and after a local hotel shared how he's never had a bad meal at this location, we decided to stay for dinner and not just drinks. It DID NOT Disappoint! The service was spot on. The Simsbury location offers an excellent historical atmosphere too.“

“I was at Kbarr 2 Friday's ago June 16th to be exact I had a great time. I just missed the happy hour ?‍? lol but still had a great time food was amazing Maddie the bartender was great made the best rum punch I've ever had it was better than the rum punch I was drinking in Jamaica...the food was great as well as the atmosphere I definitely can't wait to go back to see my Girl Maddie she's my new favorite bartender. “TJs is a sports bar with great food and immaculately clean. The burger ? tastes like steak! I have had three of them and they are the "best burger" I personally have had in Connecticut. It's small in a cozy, way and the 8 TVs are set up so you can see NFL or Basketball anywhere you sit. It's really perfect for 3 friends & you to play pool and eat, or a casual "date night" because there are booths you can snuggle up in. I usually just go to the bar side; but the restaurant side has 8 small booths so you can take mom or a friend to a tasty lunch. The menu is quite large but I personally stick to burgers.“

“I've been going for karaoke night every other Wednesday... Kelli (Kellioke) has a lot of songs, including recent ones, and she does a great show. Nina (server at the bar) is fantastic. The bar is quaint and historic, and there is a cute outdoor seating area. Stop in sometime!“

“This is a fun old feeling bar. The fanciest thing about the place is the digital juke box, and yes, it gets used. That being said, we loved this place. It was a Friday evening and the bar was full of folks who had just gotten off work.We started with the sweet chili wings, and wow.. they were good. My honey had the chicken sandwich which was good. I felt like testing to see if the Diablo burger was really that hot… it was an amazing burger, enough warmth to make you sweat but not tongue scorching. If you like spice, get this!“

“The Buffalo Mac and cheese was amazing! My hubby got a Mac and cheese burger which he said was also amazing. The place was not too crowded and the food came out reasonably quick. The barista was very nice and gave great service. The chicken quesadillas were also so good and were served with sour cream and salsa.“

“We've been here a few times for both dinner on the deck and special occasion events. The food is typically decent. I've enjoyed their pizza. They're meatball sub is delicious (and I'm Italian and am typically really picky when it comes to meatballs). The back deck is so delightful- especially on a cool evening sitting around one of the fire tables. I have 2 young kids so being able to dine outside is always nice. We dined there last week and had a less than stellar experience. It was a Thursday evening. The kids and I met some family after they played golf. It was much busier than I would have expected. Waitress comes over in a huff - clearly overwhelmed. She wasn't that friendly and was rushing, She took 8 orders - drinks and meals - without writing anything down. My cousin and I chuckled about it when she walked away. We were both saying it'd be a miracle if she got it right. Well she didn't. And the worst part is that we waited about 30 mins for our meals - and the two she messed up out of the 8 were my 4 and 9 year olds. So then we waited another 15 mins for 2 pizzas. It was just annoying. Write it down next time. Well obviously be back but definitely not if something like this happens again.“

“So for anyone who doesn't know the Hive Bar has a beautiful Hall. They could accommodate weddings, parties and small events. Has a fireplace and a stage. We loved it for our daughters first birthday. The owners were wonderful to work with. Everything was set up the way we were told. Brian was very professional and catered to all our needs. Would definitely recommend for your next event!!!!! ?“
