“We ordered some takeout/delivery on a Sunday evening. We got a large mozzarella pizza, an order of garlic knots, and some fried mozz sticks. I really enjoyed the pizza. Not the best Ive had in the New Haven area, but not a bad pie at all! I ate more than I intended. The mozz sticks are good, but on the salty side. The garlic knots were tasty, a little small, and with lots of butter. Nothing was bad. And I really thought the pizza was decent. And having the option for delivery, we will be ordering again!“

“I went to the new location on Church street and I was impressed with the space and ambience of this wing establishment. The owner was accommodating and friendly. He referred to me by my first name (Sue) which is a plus especially in Customer Service. The food I received was delicious and he even threw in a dessert on the house. “The wings are so good. We were in town visiting family, and they took us here to try the wings. It's an old establishment with a lot of character. The staff was very friendly and they seated us pretty quickly. We all got wings. They came out hot and covered in sauce. I got the mango habenero sauce, and it was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The wings were large in size, too. An order of 7 was enough to fill me up. They had a good selection of beers, too. Give it a try if you are looking for a historic pub with great food and spirits.“

“My niece gave it a 100 out of 10. She is a picky eater. She literally liked the plastic container after the banana pudding was done. We ordered wings, flounder, greens, mac and cheese, fried broccoli and lemonade. Everything was good. Don't walk run to one of the best restaurants I have been to. “The best place to get food for the next 3 towns. The food & service was so good. This is what I heard crack is like although I recommend the chicken store. Please don't do crack. The chicken was so delicious & saucy which made it entertaining while watching some Halloween shows & there's like this come down that you feel the next morning & for a couple days where I felt like I got so full & I wanted to go back like I was getting agitated & wanted more but was busy & still processing what I had. I was having these flashbacks of the employees saucing my food & greeting me when I came in the store & I was like those trappers!! ???. Then I was recycling cans for the chicken money I mean I recycle cans but I felt like there was an ulterior motive wanting chicken money like it was something feisty or ? grr give it. I had cheese fries & Hawaiian flavor chicken strips & it was fresh, perfectly sauced & warm. I had a brownie too & some tea. Win. It was next level. “Pretty good pizza, slices are HUGE! It's greasy, hot, quick, cheap, and tasty. And I loved every single bite! It was within walking distance of Yale/my hotel, and they are open very, very late. Not a lot of seating (2 tables), so they encourage to go, but the menu is extremely extensive and you will have a hard time making a choice. The prices are very reasonable and you can order everything from pizza, to calzones, to salads, and 4 types of cheesecake. It took maybe 5 mins to hear my pizza up. And they have a self service cooler full of maybe 30 different types of drinks. They have pizza boxes for single slices all the way up to extra large pizzas. Place was very clean and looked like a typical grab and go pizza parlor. Will return!“
