“What a great meal! Came here because we were on the way to get donuts at Brooklyn Baking Co and missed their breakfast timing - so glad we did! Had the Irish Benny - AMAZING corned beef hash, perfect eggs and sauce!!! Fluffy pancakes too and my boyfriend enjoyed the waffles - "real syrup and fresh, fresh fruit!" Owner is super friendly as is the staff and we had just a great experience ... what a find! Definitely putting this on our come back again soon list!!!“

“OMG! this place is the Bomb! I had the monster Bacon Veggie omelette with the bacon on the side! Friendly staff and a traditional cafe with counter and booth seating where you can watch the Maestro at work! Parking on street and behind the restaurant?“

“Have been here twice recently. Had the corned beef and Swiss omelette this past visit. The service is friendly and nice. The coffee is hot and delicious and the food comes out sooooo fast. Get here early and don’t be scared to wait in line it’s worth it.“

“I brought my niece and nephew there the morning. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the cinnamon swirl pancakes and all 3 of us ate of them and didn’t finish them, they were huge! The western omelette my nephew had was very good as well! Definitely fair priced as well. Will definitely be back.“

“Connie's is one of my favorite local breakfast spots! I literally go there almost every Saturday morning... it's not very big place, so sometimes you do have to wait for a table to be seated (but it's breakfast, so the turnover time is pretty quick). If you're going on a Saturday or Sunday morning, I'd recommend going bright and early (around 8AM) or a little later (after 10:30AM) to avoid the crowd. As far as the food, it's just your standard breakfast menu, and they do also have a lunch menu as well with sandwiches, etc. I usually stick with eggs, bacon, and toast, so nothing too crazy. The coffee is hit-or-miss, but usually more of a miss, unfortunately. The food is very good though!Overall the staff is generally nice, though sometimes it seems like they're a little overwhelmed and the service is a little slow. Still, I would recommend Connie's as a solid breakfast spot!“

“Unfortunately the food seems to be taking a fall, uncooked or overcooked food but some not all but some waitresses are friendly and it makes it a nice place to come, just need to see what's going on with the person cooking the food, maybe just having a bad couple “

“This is the place for you if you appreciate excellent customer service, savory, delicious food that tastes like momma made it, and a good laugh with great people. Cannot say enough about what a wonderful little place this is. Thank you Sara and Karen for cooking it with love every single time.“

“A quaint quiet local diner with AMAZING food. The side of hash (corned beef) was so crispy and flavorful! The knife work on the potatoes in the hash was so perfectly even (aka everything cooked evenly) which lended to how amazing every bite was. I loved the Scotty's Benedict which had 3 poached eggs over baked Virginia ham, melty cheese, and English muffins. My partner got a sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll for just 5.95$ and wow did he love it! It had the freshest eggs, juiciest sausage patties, and gooey melty cheese on a tasty roll. You definitely won't leave here hungry.“

“I've been going here for years and the food is always great. I enjoy their chicken tenders and fries meal when I want lunch and there are a ton of great breakfast options. Depending on the day, it can get pretty crowded here though. It's great on weekdays or off hours on weekends, but during peak brunch time, I would not go here with a large group.Parking: The parking lot is free and a very short walk from Brown Stone House, but during peak hours, you may not find a spot. There are other free parking lots nearby though and the nearby restaurants don't all have the same busy times as Brown Stone House, so that helps.“

“Spectacular housemade hash. My eggs were perfect over easy but a little under seasoned. Rye toast. The only reason it's a 4 instead of 5 was because of the hash browns. Under cooked almost raw slivers that were burnt to bitterness on some parts and raw on the other with only pepper as seasoning. A complete throw in so the container looks full. Wick service delivered hot. To kitchen staff: put some pride into those taters !! You have world class hash and gutter potatoes, step it up !!“

“It was my first visit, but I need to give them a 2nd chance. This was a very nice place and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, my bagel was not that good. Very hard and chewy. Seemed stale. The flavored cream cheese was very good. I would like to go back and try another bagel to see if the experience is the same. Like I said, I gave them a second chance. I had the same everything bagel not toasted with flavored cream cheese. This time the bagel was excellent. Just what I expected. I'm glad to see that my first experience was a 1 off. I will go back to try their sandwiches and burgers. Changing my review to 5 stars.“

“My husband and I decided to stop for breakfast one day three weeks ago and we were amazed with everything. I ordered Eggs Benedict, coffee and an orange juice. My husband ordered pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice. We also got a side of bacon. Everything was perfect and delicious! My Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and the best I’ve ever had. I am a self proclaimed Eggs Benedict connoisseur and I was extremely impressed. The eggs were poached perfectly…which is very important. The hollandaise sauce was so tasty that I just wanted to jump in and swim in it! And the homefries were amazing! My husband, who is a huge pancake fanatic said the pancakes were by far the best he has ever ate. He said they were fluffy and cooked perfectly through and the bacon was very crispy and the sausage not overcooked. The coffee was fresh and strong, which is how we like it. Since that first day, we have gone back two more times. If you happen to like soup, let me tell you…their soups are wonderful! The waitress was excellent and very friendly. She welcomes everyone with a smile and frequently checks in to see how everything is. The gentleman who cooks also comes out to greet the customers and asks how everyone is doing and is very humbled with every compliment he and the waitress receives. They definitely pride themselves on being the best and they truly are the best! We will definitely be making this a weekly trip. We find ourselves thinking about the food at Peter’s II and can’t wait to go back. We 100% recommend Peter’s II to anyone looking for a small locally owned and operated restaurant for breakfast and lunch. You won’t be disappointed.Parking: The restaurant is located in a small plaza so there are many parking spaces in front as well as on the side and back.Kid-friendliness: They make the cutest Mickey Mouse pancakes for kids. They also have a children’s menu.“
