“My husband and I tried this place on a whim. It was a very busy Friday night, lots of take out pizza's passed by us on the way in. I order the chicken marsala and my husband ordered cheese pizza. He said the pizza was good but he prefers our usual pizza places instead. My chicken marsala was tasty. I also order a white wine sangria that was excellent! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We shall return.“
“New to the neighborhood got 8 pcs wings they short me, ended up getting 7pcs. Please look over your order before heading home. The food was good but they weren’t paying attention on the pc count. Not a good look for the first time ordering from there.“
“We rented the little Italy pizza truck for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and we couldn’t be happier! First of all I’d like to point out that the party was in the back field of a farm, that had a very rough dirt road in and out. Luigi came out a few days prior to scope out the place, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. It DOWNPOURED the whole day of our party, so we were nervous about him being able to get down, not only did he make it down the dirt road all the way to the party, they showed up with smiles on their face and got right to work making their delicious pizzas! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza and service was. We had enough to feed over 75 people, and even had enough so people could bring some home with them. Luigi and his crew were so nice and we are so grateful for everything they did to make the party a huge success. 10/10 recommend their services!“
“The delivery driver who drives a red car named James. Is a professional, fast, dedicated delivery driver who exceeded my expectations. I’ve done deliveries for a bit and know the frustration that comes with having a time limit making sure the food is still hot, having to deal with rude customers, low tips, weather and those last minute late night calls. We called last minute and I opened the door expecting a rude delivery driver but he was exceptionally polite and I was surprised seeing as it was the day we got bad rain. So even though he got poured on the guy still had a good attitude! I highly recommend the place and request him but make sure you acknowledge his work! Also the owner Chris is a great man. Has always looked out for my daughter. We definitely appreciate the service, the food, hard work, and how they are everyday people not just a money hungry business. We are happy to use them and will use them every time!“
“My favorite place to go in East Haven! You need to go! Everyone is so attentive. Their food is excellent, especially their hot honey pizza. The owners are extremely considerate of your needs and want to make sure your experience is positive. I’m so happy Nicky’s opened in East Haven.“
“I absolutely love this little piece of East Haven. It absolutely represents East Haven and everything that makes it great. It has amazing Italian food, a sweet dessert section and hot chicken wings. The young employees there fit the culture perfectly. They are young, caring and nice. I have eaten here even though I typically take out. They have three little tables to eat at and a cute outdoor section to eat at.“
“Family brought me to Tolli's...after a sporting event where I sustained pretty serious leg injury. I was still in my softball uniform too! Add to that, I'm one of those pesky vegan's!. The place was jamming, and so welcoming! Has a "Cheers" vibe, everyone knows your name! Friends of my fam came up to clap me on the back and offer encouragement re: my stove up leg. The Bartender was so busy, but made sure our glasses were filled and my menu questions answered. I had a absolutely delicious cavatappi with broccoli rabe, I'm still thinking about how good it was. Wonderful local place. I can't wait to visit again!“
“I kind of stumbled over this restaurant and I'm so glad I did !!! I have been here approx 4 times and every time the meal has been delicious, from the very friendly waitstaff. Every time I have been here we have ordered the hot antipasto which included two baked stuffed shrimp, two stuffed mushrooms, and two clams casino, along with the appetizer came a warm basket of homemade bread with butter. We had the New England Clam chowder and it was perfect I had a veal dish with mushrooms and prosciutto over noodles. Perfect did I say fresh mushrooms my brother had the zuppe di pesce, which he totally enjoyed. He got it without the calamari and another basket of warm bread. If you're looking for delicious Italian food with a very friendly waitstaff this is the place to go. I almost didn't write this review as I don't want to see the place over crowded lol but it's well deserved. We were there last night and will be back again. Very cute place inside“
