“We visited for the first time tonight. we had a gift certificate from a friend and we decided it was a great excuse for a date night. The pizza was awesome…. Definitely some of the best in the area…. Don’t have to go to Wooster Street for great pizza. Unfortunately we will not return again due to a very unskilled and unprofessional situation that happened at the end of our meal. Our waitress informed us that we were not able to bring our water in again……I sent my concerns in a private message to the manager hoping that we could have constructive conversation but the response I received back was worse than the waitress at the restaurant. We had mentioned to our waitress it was our first time at their restaurant when we first arrived…. Just surprising that this is the way first time guests are treated at Angiollo’s. So if you want great pizza this is a great local restaurant…, but beware…. Don’t take your water bottle in,!!!!“

“Been around pizza all my life. Wooster Street always a favorite, but I gotta say LaMonaco's in Northford has been our go to for years now. They are consistently the best our family has had, ever. The folks down there are delightful and kind and the food is outstanding. This time, they had pizza and I finished a large calzone that was the best I've ever had. Been meaning to write this review for a long time now. But finishing a Foxon Park White Birch beer was the perfect time to praise my local treasure.La Monaco'sThanks GuysRW“

“We found a local ? gem last Wednesday! We were driving by and decided to stop at Giovanni's. We ordered a large 18" pizza with precooked bacon, black olives, mushrooms & onions. Thin and DELICIOUS.?The waitress was awesome, very attentive, and efficient.We will go back and thank you! ?“

“I hired Jimmie for my wedding which was in June. He was very responsive and easy to work with leading up to the big day. He was in communication with my wedding planner because we were having some concerns about the other food truck we booked. Literally during ceremony, we found out our second food truck was not coming. Jimmie called his wife and sister-in-law who immediately drove up to our venue (which is an hour drive from most) to assist him in feeding our whole wedding party. Jimmie stepped up and handled the situation so smoothly , we are so grateful for him. & the pizza was absolutely amazing. Big Mac Pizza!!! He had a variety of pizzas out all night which the guests still rave about. We cannot thank him enough for saving our wedding...without him we would have been without food for our 90 guests.“

“Delicious pizza. We had a plain and a broccoli. Very crispy. I was especially impressed with the broccoli pie. Usually veggie pies and broccoli especially get super soggy and heavy but this was perfectly light. I'd definitely come by again when I'm in the area.“

“Truly a Pizza Gem in New Haven CT. This wood fired pizza comes out faster than you can recite the national anthem. The ambiance, environment, service and attention to detail make this a must try pizza joint. You cant miss out!! They have a great wine selection as well. I love this place especially because they do not use soy in their dough recipe and for those will allergies or simply avoid soy products rest assured you will not be disappointed. I cant wait to go back and try their pastas.“

“We hired the BGT for a recent event for 50Guests. The truck arrived early, brought all the ingredients we asked for, and started cooking right away. It was raining so they brought all the food upstairs as it was ready so everyone didn’t need to venture down the stairs into the garage. The pizza was incredible - all the guests remarked on how wonderful it was, as was the salad, gelato and cappuccino also provided. I would highly recommend this company- heard from many guests today telling us what a wonderful time they had - thank you so much for making our occasion extra special !!“

“Every time I stop by to get a slice I am greeted with kindness and respect and always feel welcome. It's nice they're open late. It's a great place to grab a slice on your way home after a fun night out. The pesto pizza is very tasty. Buffalo chicken is good, too. It gets crowded on weekends during the school year. Enjoy the glow from the oven and elbow in among the irrepressible chatter of the students or take your pie to go.“

“I kind of stumbled over this restaurant and I'm so glad I did !!! I have been here approx 4 times and every time the meal has been delicious, from the very friendly waitstaff. Every time I have been here we have ordered the hot antipasto which included two baked stuffed shrimp, two stuffed mushrooms, and two clams casino, along with the appetizer came a warm basket of homemade bread with butter. We had the New England Clam chowder and it was perfect I had a veal dish with mushrooms and prosciutto over noodles. Perfect did I say fresh mushrooms my brother had the zuppe di pesce, which he totally enjoyed. He got it without the calamari and another basket of warm bread. If you're looking for delicious Italian food with a very friendly waitstaff this is the place to go. I almost didn't write this review as I don't want to see the place over crowded lol but it's well deserved. We were there last night and will be back again. Very cute place inside“
