“This place make you feel like you’re eating in front of Lungomare Mergellina in NAPLES, Italy. Absolutely fantastic pizza, pasta and everything you see on the menu. If you’re familiar with a real and authentic pizza this is the right place for you, won’t find a place like this in the whole state of CT. Food is fresh, pizza is not greasy like every other place you go and your stomach doesn’t feel heavy after eating here. You smell authentic as soon as you walk in. Great job and thank you for having a place like this in CT.“
“If you're a true pizza-lover, you must come!!!!The best!We truly enjoy the meatball and ricotta halfed with white clam great, exquisite! The veggie special is so good. I also recommend the De Carne pieEnded dinner with dessert, tiramisu, perfect!Just come, you guys!“
“We hired the BGT for a recent event for 50Guests. The truck arrived early, brought all the ingredients we asked for, and started cooking right away. It was raining so they brought all the food upstairs as it was ready so everyone didn’t need to venture down the stairs into the garage. The pizza was incredible - all the guests remarked on how wonderful it was, as was the salad, gelato and cappuccino also provided. I would highly recommend this company- heard from many guests today telling us what a wonderful time they had - thank you so much for making our occasion extra special !!“
“Every time I stop by to get a slice I am greeted with kindness and respect and always feel welcome. It's nice they're open late. It's a great place to grab a slice on your way home after a fun night out. The pesto pizza is very tasty. Buffalo chicken is good, too. It gets crowded on weekends during the school year. Enjoy the glow from the oven and elbow in among the irrepressible chatter of the students or take your pie to go.“
“This is the best pizza in New Haven, forget what you read from influencers and blogs. Pat is a master of the craft and there is nothing better than a cheese pizza fresh out of the oven. Do yourself a favor and eat there! This pizza is best when it's only a few minutes out of the oven.“
“Great pizza and sides. Should be in the New Haven Pizza conversation more often.Brick oven, Fresh ingredients, nice crunch and undercarriage/ crust. About 5 two person tables So not much for sitting in. More of a take out spot. Well worth it to go pick it up. Out of the down town city area. In Quiet East “
“The shashukka is out of this world good. The little mushroom pastries are incredible. Their garlic knots are FANTASTIC. BUT I also had the gluten free pizza and wasn't impressed. The stuff on top of the crust was divine the crust itself was kind of a miss. It wasn't bad just uneven thickness and therefore it cooked unevenly and some parts were great and some were meh. Anyway get anything else and I'm sure you'll be happy!“
“We came across accidentally when we roaming around we were pleasantly surprised . It has ample seating space and giving Mediterranean vibe. Server was very attentive and kept us informed food status! It a nice place to catch up with family! They were gracious to give free Baklava for dessert and which was delicious!“
“Excellent service, especially for a busy Friday night. The server made a clutch recommendation with the fresh garden tomatoes on the white pie. Mozzarella and tomato was phenomenal. Both pizzas were out of this world. Surprising beer list too. I cannot wait to go back.Parking: I found a spot a block away at 6PM on a Friday. Parking was wide open, but not an issue either.“
“the owner is the nicest person ever. the pizza was great and slices were huge. we talked to him about our schools rutgers and st joes and he was so kind and friendly. hope anyone who goes here enjoys! was just driving through connecticut and tried it here 10/10 worth it! glad places like this are still “
“Easily accessible and in walking distance of the New Haven green. Got brussels sprouts and a large pizza. The brussels sprouts were cut and fried in a unique way I had never seen before but it was quite delicious. The pizza was also quite good although a little too much garlic for my tastes (and i love garlic)“
“I hear al ot about new haven having the best pie I had better in Newton at pizza palace and haven't had any better then fioris in Pittsburgh but the staff are decent over all a kinda wierd exchange with a the guy who felt like he ran the place when I was paying up he asked if I knew uncle Sam assuming I didn't know about taxes or even cared he must of thought my steering at the menu was something other then curiosity of the actual menu not the price Flux but the pizza was definitely far from the worse 4 outta 5“
“Pizza is excellent. We get take out here a couple times a month for dinner and have never been disappointed. We love that the pizza is well done but never burnt. They put a ton of toppings on and their bacon is well done (without asking) which is a plus! They are also always very nice.“
“We had 4 pizzas, the Mexican, clam, eggplants, and margarita. Mexican elote and the white clam were tasty, but eggplants and margarita were tasteless and soggy. Service was fine, but I was blown away for the high price of $8 kombucha, which was not tasting like kombucha.“
“If you really want some good fresh sandwiches and the best FRESH desserts this is the place to go!!!!!! GREAT SERVICE AND ONLY THE BEST MEAT… Boars Head !!!!!! From NY STYLE copped cheese to the Steak and cheese you can’t ever go wrong here!!!!!!!!!!!“
“Delicious! I had the eggplant parm. My daughter had the chicken shawarma. We split a baba ganoush appetizer and ended with a little sweetness (baklava). The servers were so nice and the food was 5 stars. We’re just in town for a college visit, but if my daughter ends up in college here, this will be our “go to” place for Mediterranean food.“
“Fantastic pizza. Great food. Shawn is the owner. He takes pride in what he makes and values his customers. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with both the food and the customer service. Casa Bianca is involved in the community and gives back. Shawn, Kim and the team at Casa Biance make Ansonia proud. We appreciate you.Had to add to this review! Shawn outdid himself. What a wonderful birthday for our granddaughters 8th birthday! Pizza, wings and a special heart shaped pepperoni pizza just for her!“
“Best of pizza I've had in 10 years!! Excellent value, I got a meat lovers Pizza and it was loaded!! Everything cooked to perfection. The crust the meet the cheese everything. I would have given them 10 Stars if I! I gave them five stars for atmosphere because they're so nicen and very clean!“
“The gentleman in the front counter was very nice, but it looked very busy. He was handling the front of the house and the back of the house overall. I had a very great chicken parm sandwich and the fries were pretty good. The area is a little sketchy, but it's a very busy intersection.“
“My go tos are regular cheese or meatball pies w/extra sauce(nyc style). I love my pizza not to be dry.Their fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken & broccoli is really good as well. Only thing is it's expensive & there's hardly anything there (real small portion.) I always had it delivered bc inside is pretty small (when I worked in New Haven) Delivery guy was extra nice & called me by my name bc I was a regular.“
“This has been an amazing experience. I have been going here for years and have tried most of the items in the menu. The pizza and sandwiches are amazing and really shine in this retro diner especially compared to the rest of new haven. Everything is freshly made and really good.“
“I was pretty hard on them when I wrote my first restaurant review. I gave them a second chance and I’m glad I did! The food is good and the service is excellent in my opinion. There’s plenty options for vegans. There’s pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and wraps! The desserts are great as well. Will do definitely visit again. FYI, this restaurant runs in operate within a restaurant that sales and serve non-vegan items.“
“U Gotta Try What Tha City Calls The "Crack Salad" Its Piled With Chicken & Veggies, *& it Goes Down...Been Havin it for YEARS...Just Recently Had The Chicken & Rice for the first Time, & it Wasn't Bad...Decent Taste With a Lil Seasoning U Might Have 2 Add Depending On Ya Taste Buds“
“Lovely place with great decor and vibe. Beer was good, I had IPA. Pizza was very light and tasted very fresh, I ordered Funghi. We went as a big group on Wednesday night. They had good jazz music live play! Overall very good. They also have plenty of parking as compared to other restaurants in New Haven.Vegetarian options: Good veg and vegan optionsParking: They have plenty of parking as compared to other restaurants in New Haven.“
“Excellent pizza that holds its own in a city where great pizza is the standard. It’s a bit more NY style which is nice bc it’s different from everything else in this town. Friendly service and good vibes. Love stopping in here for a slice on my lunch breaks“
“Attended a graduation party that was catered by this wonderful truck. They continued making one pizza after another of so many different flavors. They were all delicious. Super friendly guys. They served us exceptionally good cappuccino and espresso as well as yummy gelato! Definitely w would recommend!“
“Town Pizza is the BEST!!!! I have been going there for over 20 years, and not only is the food fresh and delicious, great pizza, Greek specialties and more, but the owners and the staff are the nicest folks ever! LOVE everything about Town Pizza!“
“Incredible pizza! If you're looking for the right pizzeria that will satisfy your cravings, this is the right place. Salads are also amazing. I usually order a salad to go with my pizza and it's always so fresh. My favorite place for pizza, staff is also very welcoming and friendly. 5 stars!!!“
“Takes you right back to the 80s from the way the joint looks, to the taste of the pizza, even how you pay harkens back to the 80s: cash only. Lol.It really just took me back. Tastes like pizza did when we were kids. Check them out if you want something both different AND nostalgic.“
“The pizza was very tasty and the crust was crispy. As for the music I can tell that the Jazz sounds were relaxing and pretty stylish. This small shop is great for stopping by and having a quick snack.Vegetarian options: Vegan options are separated in an own menuDietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are availableParking: Few spaces in front of the shop“
“Used to go there very often years ago when I worked in the neighborhood I just went there to pick up a salad it was delicious as ever Place has been there I think 24 years It is very delicious go eat there. I always used to get the pizza haven salad, or the chicken parm . For today it was just like I remembered you get Pizza Haven salad and some boneless wings can't go wrong!“
“Unpretentious but comfortable and attractive diner-style booth seating with wooden tables & booth dividers. Friendly, attentive, prompt service. We were offered a choice of booster seat or high chair for our baby. The booster seat's straps were partially missing but we don't tend to count on those anyway. I was delighted to find liver & eggs on the menu; the modest (but cheap) portion of liver was cooked perfectly, with just a little pink on the inside. On request, our waitress was happy to substitute grilled tomatoes in place of my home fries, and got me some light cream for my coffee in place of half and half. The breakfast sausage was also good. My partner got chicken wings and a salad, her portions were large, and the cucumber on the salad was quite good. Very glad this place is in the neighborhood and that we checked it out despite the unappealing facade.“
“Pretty good pizza, slices are HUGE! It's greasy, hot, quick, cheap, and tasty. And I loved every single bite! It was within walking distance of Yale/my hotel, and they are open very, very late. Not a lot of seating (2 tables), so they encourage to go, but the menu is extremely extensive and you will have a hard time making a choice. The prices are very reasonable and you can order everything from pizza, to calzones, to salads, and 4 types of cheesecake. It took maybe 5 mins to hear my pizza up. And they have a self service cooler full of maybe 30 different types of drinks. They have pizza boxes for single slices all the way up to extra large pizzas. Place was very clean and looked like a typical grab and go pizza parlor. Will return!“
“I ordered the 12-in Margarita pizza. The crust and tomato sauce combination was spectacular. The mozzarella cheese also was quite good. I was so pleased with this pizza that I actually ordered a second pizza to take home and when I reheated the second pizza the next day I found it also to be quite enjoyable.I've tried, now, the three major Apizza restaurants in New Haven: Sally's, Frank Pepe's and Modern Apizza. I have to say at this point that at least for my taste the best so far has been Modern Apizza“
