“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. Sally’s Apizza @ Fairfield deserves a 5 star rating for making our event the success it was. Thanks so much“

“Ricotta's catering service is wonderful! We are from out of state and were organizing a Shiva lunch for family living near New Haven. Given that we only had a day to plan, time was very tight and we didn't know where to turn. Luckily, Ricotta's was recommended. Sarah was great - she was flexible, willing to deliver, arranged the food beautifully, and everything was delicious. Guests, in particular, loved the sushi, the pita sandwiches and the pastries. When visiting, we can't wait to eat at the restaurant and to hopefully use the catering service for a happier event. We highly recommend them!“

The staff are accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere for eating here is very casual, not the kind of place for large groups.“

“Ordered: slice of cheese pizza and a meatball sub with fries. I have been wanting to get pizza while in Connecticut and finally made it happen. I enjoyed my slice of cheese and wished I had gotten more than one slice. The meatball sub made me forget about wanting more pizza. Excellent toasted bread, the meatballs were sizable and the sauce and cheese were good. If you follow me then you know I like spicy so I’d recommend getting a cup of hot sauce to put on your pizza and to add to the sub, but even without hot sauce the food is great! The fries were crispy outside and a nicely cooked soft inside. I would recommend to all, they also have a regular restaurant aside from their vegan menu as part of their business so if you bring non vegan friends they can have whatever they want. May go back again before I leave CT to try something new or to get another tasty slice of pizza. Updated from previous review on 2026-09-08“

“Hidden gem! This place was perfect. Good food and fast service. Deli style where you order at the counter and just sit at the tables and high top. Large menu. I got pizza which was thin and delish. My friend got a chicken wrap which looked amazing. Will be back!“

“The party size pizza has really thin crust. And the extremely thinner parts of the crust were burnt. However, I loved the deep dark red color of the sauce and it was delicious.
Not much parking even for pick up.
It was really cold inside.
However, I'm not giving it a bad rating. I'm just not a fan of the thin crust, if I had known I wouldn't have ordered it.
I'll still willing to give another try. 😉“

“The pizza is AMAZING. 😭🔥 The consistency is actually insane, like every time I get it, it comes out just as good as the last time. That’s not easy to do at all.
Everyone on the staff is super nice too, and you can tell they really care about making sure everything is quality. Easily my favorite pizza spot and probably the best pizza in NH, no debate.
