“We ate here late on a Sunday night (8:15) before heading out on a long drive. Everything was perfect - the atmosphere was really warm and somehow both super calm and happy; the menu was awesome and the food was really delicioius, and the service was attentive and fast, but not rushed.“

“Not sure if this is really what it's called I always thought of it as the Nordstrom cafe but it's right inside the store. They have good options to select from. Great place to go for lunch. Their tomato basil soup has a great flavor. I also enjoyed their cranberry turkey sandwich with havarti cheese on whole wheat bread. They have a fairly healthy selection sandwiches, salads, soups, entrees . The staff is also very friendly. Not a long wait for the food. Will definitely be back. Convenient to break up a long day of shopping.“

“First time here, order a cobb salad. Was disappointed on the size and the chopped iceberg lettuce they used. I did order the half salad, but it was more like a side salad to me. They should mix in some other mixed greens as well. Iceberg lettuce salads make the salad cheap. ( but price is not cheap)“

“We had a party of 3 so tried everything on the menu and we loved it. The roasted squash was probably the star of the show. All of the entrees were nicely sized portions and well executed. The butterscotch pudding was great. Service was also top notch. Angie took great care of us and I would request her great service next time we come in. This concept is truly special and I hope it flourishes.“

“I've had many different plates at this spot but tonight.. OMG. I got the Mediterranean Salad with crispy chicken & it was sooo good. The dressing was delicious and although it was creamy, it was a light dressing. The fried chickpeas and feta made it!! My daughter had the kids chicken quesadilla w/ I'm assuming house made chips?! But our dishes looked EXACTLY like they presented in Facebook! *chefs kiss* also the guy working there was so nice!!“

“The food is insanely good. My friend and I dine at Trumbull Kitchen before we attend Hartford Stage, and she was still extolling her dinner on the drive home after the show. She had the marinaded steak. The best thing was the response to her request to replace the fries with veggies. The choices were plentiful, and the side salad that arrived was gorgeous. My dinner was equally delicious, seared tuna with salad. Yummy and beautifully plated. The salad dressing (served on-the-side) was exquisite. We each had reasonably priced glasses of wine.Julian, our waiter was running, as was everyone on staff when it became crazy busy at around six o'clock. The bar was hopping and there was a line waiting to be seated. Yet, he checked on us every 5 to 10 minutes and made sure we were well supplied with the spicy, chip-like crackers that come in the bread basket and are irresistible. If there is one negative, it is the very loud sound system which pumps in thumping music that you might want as background for a weight-lifting class at the gym, rather than for dining. I am sure there is a metric that tells restaurants and bars that people drink more if they can't hear themselves think. Personally, I find it offensive. If I could have done, I'd have changed the selection and turned down the volume.“
