“Very cozy local bar! Staff is very professional and personable. The bar side is separated from George's pizza restaurant, which is nice to know there are multiple ways to dine. My husband and I came for drinks and appetizers. The old-fashioned Tony made for us was crafted beautifully. He made the drink with finesse that showed he was versed in his craft. (Eta, my drink was full and delicious. I only thought to photograph it after I started drinking it). In the video, I filmed him creating an expresso martini (he did exquisitely dress them with expresso beans after I cut the video). Our apps were the coconut shrimp and jalapeño poppers. The coconut shrimp was delightful and cooked very nicely. It also came with a flavorful dipping sauce. The poppers were good, and as an app, both were portioned appropriately. Cannot wait to return and try more of the food menu as well as enjoy the inviting feel of this well established local bar!“
“Was there for happy hour at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name, but the dirty martini's were spot on and spanking cold! He was very attentive to my group. My only "complaint" is that Brio is in Westfarms Mall, so you need to deal with the parking morons and the junior high schoolers who hang out there just to get into the place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.“

“love a good Gastro pub and Union Kitchen did not disappoint. Truly wonderful and friendly staff. genuinely nice people which is a refreshing surprise. The food was excellent. Stuffed Queen Olives and Whipped Ricotta toast were incredible. main courses Shrimp and Scallop risotto and the Lobster Rigstoni arrabbiata could stand up to some of the best italian and seafood restaurants. “My wife and I had our first dinner at Vinted Wine Bar tonight. My wife has had a good amount of experience at Vinted, but it was my first time there. Top to bottom... TRULY EXCELLENT!! We shared a nice bottle of Daou Cab while sitting at the bar, and started with the Whipped Hummus, with Crispy Scallion Cake. Best Hummus you'll ever eat, and the warm crispy thin cake slices are very delicious with the Hummus. Terrific! Then we split and shared 2 entrees: The Chicken Milanese, and the Vinted Prime Burger. Both, also super delicious. Rich, flavorful, perfectly prepared by the talented crew in the kitchen lead by the executive chef, and partner, Mike Voight. Ate every bite of everything. Lastly, for desert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Holy cow, that is one incredible desert. Our bartender Chris was very helpful, friendly, and although busy had time to talk with us. And we found all the staff, extremely personable. Mike has a finely tuned ship in Vinted. We'll be back. #impressed“
“French restaurant in a chic space where there are both no reservations and no cash accepted The menu is kind of strange, as it is comprised of a few different variations of a few eclectic options. For example, you could order one of three variations of their stews, flatbreads, or grilled cheeses, or you could also order a whole roast chicken. More than a few of the games I played had non-functioning buttons and the coin slots ate my money without giving credits.“
“Our first time dining at Mecha, but definitely not our last! Dylan was extremely kind and helpful when I called to inquire about seating, making a reservation (they don't - it's a waitlist system)... our server Lauren was awesome! She was patient (we had a million questions) and made wonderful suggestions. Super helpful considering we were first timers... and the food! Everything we ordered was delicious! The mushroom dumplings, general tso's shrimp, the ramen were all fabulous, fresh and full of flavor. I had the ground chicken seasonal special and am absolutely going back before the season changes to have it again. I highly recommend this place.“

Wonderful atmosphere, smooth music and the owners never miss the opportunity to stop buy your table and say friendly hello. “Service was on the slow side, however the dining area was busy. My chicken sandwich was delicious and juicy, and I would definitely order it again. However the $1.50 for the up charge on french fries was not worth it. The fries were soggy, limp and unseasoned.It wasn't all bad. Like I said I really enjoyed my beer and my chicken sandwich.Parking: Nice new looking building but parking seems limited.“

“I was at Kbarr 2 Friday's ago June 16th to be exact I had a great time. I just missed the happy hour ?? lol but still had a great time food was amazing Maddie the bartender was great made the best rum punch I've ever had it was better than the rum punch I was drinking in Jamaica...the food was great as well as the atmosphere I definitely can't wait to go back to see my Girl Maddie she's my new favorite bartender. “I used to love coming here pre pandemic! I brought my friend with me from out of town and we were having a GREAT night with the bartender Dustin (who literally was excellent), and at the end of the night it was just my friend, the owner, and I. The conversation was calm and civil and fun and suddenly out of NOWHERE the owner proceeded to verbally assault us, calling us expletives and making us feel unsafe and unwelcome. We decided it was no longer for us and stepped outside, at which point he FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE and alternated between apologizing and cursing at us and begging us to come back inside until we left. I’m glad we didn’t go back inside as his behavior was erratic and potentially dangerous, considering we were two women and he is a much larger man. We were afraid and felt safer walking home (in Hartford that says something) rather than staying put. I’m bummed because I used to like this place, but it’s come to my attention we are certainly not the only women with this experience. Please be careful y’all.“

“Went in on a Wednesday for a business meeting with 3 partners, we sat at the bar to have a drink, the bartender Emma was a delight. She was friendly with such a warm personality. There was a young man filling the cooler with bottles of beer who joined the conversation, we stayed longer than expected and I will be back with my wife.
