“They are located behind a gas station in Litchfield, CT. They rank up there with Bigfoot and UFO's in terms of things you might randomly find while driving. That being said, make the effort. Their pizza is awesome, with perhaps the most perfect crust I've had. Everything else on their menu is well done, too. Why does all the magic happen behind a gas station?“

“I’ve been going here many years and I’m not sure how to give this review, because the quality of the food changes every time they have a new owner. When they first opened this place the food was incredible, and then it was below average, and now it changed again. Last I went it was just average, nothing like it was when it first opened. But by no means was the food bad!2nd experience: I believe there are new owners, the food is significantly more bland, and the drink I ordered was way too bitter.“
“First time here, thought the atmosphere was great and so was the food. We had the potstickers and jalapeño popper egg rolls for apps. I had buffalo cauliflower tacos and my husband had blacken chicken pasta. Everything was awesome. Others in our party enjoyed their food also. Our waiter was great! Will be going back.“
“My first visit was last February for my birthday. My friend had pre-arranged for the 5 course tasting menu/pairing. It was the perfect introduction to the restaurant and the culinary talents of Chef David. When a close friend had a milestone birthday I knew this would be the perfect locale given his Italian heritage. He’s picky on bread since he makes his own - he couldn’t get enough of it and was excited to find out it was made on site! Recently, when I saw the braised rabbit filled buttons I knew I had to return. Since it was just me and a last minute decision I was thrilled to get a spot at the bar. “We are very impressed. Lauren and I had lunch today. They got us in without a reservation. We were treated "compliments of the chef"with an antipasto salad and lemon cello shots. We ordered a late lunch of Tramonti salad and chicken wings. We were so impressed with the atmosphere and the food. There was so much food we had to bring some home. We ended up talking with our neighbors who are up from Brooklyn, New York and Milford, Connecticut visiting because they had heard such good things about the restaurant . I recommend I recommend you get a reservation.“
“We completely enjoyed our first visit to Geppetto on Valentines day. The atmosphere, my wife pointed out, seemed to make Connecticut disappear and Italy appear in it's place. The menu is comfortable and small which we like because it says that real care will be taken with your meal...and this was clearly the case with each of two courses we enjoyed. The grilled octopus and my wife's Quail antipasto were prepared perfectly. The bucatini all'Amatriciana and lamb was fantastic and delivered hot and delicious. We shared a blueberry tart type dessert. Thanks also to Jenna for her great service, we left with smiles on our faces and intentions to return again.“
“My experience at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. It is nice to see a family restaurant with nothing but happiness and hard work. Mensur (general manager) was very professional and makes you feel as though you are appreciated not just as a customer but as a person. He does an amazing job accommodating whatever it is you need. The food was spectacular. Each bite was a huge hit of different flavors but it was not too overwhelming. Great place, beautiful food, spectacular service. Definitely will be returning. “We went for dinner tonight. My parents love it and took us for my husbands birthday. Food was great! Such big portions and so many shrimp in my Nana’s dish, and it was delish! But what I really want to comment on is that I informed the waitress my son had a peanut allergy. She said they didn’t have anything with peanuts but would inform them. She came back with a picture of the back of the bread wrapper to show me the ingredients to make sure his grilled cheese was safe. I appreciated that more than they know. As a new mom who is also new to the allergy world I’m just learning and the fact that they thought to show me the ingredients says so much. Usually people think if there are no peanuts it’s safe, but you knew enough to look at the ingredients in the bread and go the step further to show me, and I thank you for that!“
“I forgot to mention on my last review that we always get a vegan pizza to go with our dinners. It is really great crispy pizza with vegetables on top but no cheese. I'm sure all the other pizzas are equally delicious. Lasts for days in the fridge and can be reheated in oven- not microwave because that makes the crust mushy! Really good place!“
“After walking around on a cold, windy day hot, delicious pizza was perfect! We live supporting small businesses, and this family-owned place fit the bill. You can tell a lot of care and pride go into the preparation of the food. The tables were clean and well cared for, too, which is always appreciated. Great service and prompt delivery of the food. “The food was decent ( we had cheese ravioli with marinara and chicken frances) but overpriced for what is was. The marinara sauce was a little watery so the ravioli just kind of sat on top of it but it had decent flavor.The salad was fresh and the bread was good too. The waitress was friendly.“

“Just ordered a medium size grinder and I wish I had a large. The bread was warm and toasty and NOT SOGGY turkey was amazingly warm and light the cheese was melted to perfection complete with a cheese pull with every bite. Highly recommend, the best grinder I have had in a long time and I would say the best in Torrington PERIOD“
“As far as sub franchises go (Subway, Firehouse, Jersey Mike's, Blimpie's, etc), Nardellis is as good as it gets. Their sandwiches can be a bit dry, though, and can feel like there's "too much bread". But their ingredients are top-of-the-line. This particular location is ok.“
