When they first opened this place the food was incredible, and then it was below average, and now it changed again. Last I went it was just average, nothing like it was when it first opened. “We were at the flea market nearby and went for lunch because it was so close. Located in a strip mall, it’s was a cozy, informal, little restaurant with booths and some tables. Service was prompt and courteous, menu had all the classics and nice, simple dinners and black board specials. We had cheeseburger deluxe and pastrami melt. The fries were so good, steak fries that cooked to a deep golden brown. Perfect crunch for the outside, soft and mashed potato like inside. It’s been a while since I had fries that good!!! Burger was hefty, cooked to perfection and juicy. Pastrami melt was tender, with very thinly sliced sauté onions, grilled well on rye. Coleslaw was very good, not too saucy, not to dry. Ice tea was very good.Saw others selections, pot roast with gravy looked so good and a grilled chicken salad that was enormous!Prices were great for the quality and portion sizes. “We went for dinner tonight. My parents love it and took us for my husbands birthday. Food was great! Such big portions and so many shrimp in my Nana’s dish, and it was delish! But what I really want to comment on is that I informed the waitress my son had a peanut allergy. She said they didn’t have anything with peanuts but would inform them. She came back with a picture of the back of the bread wrapper to show me the ingredients to make sure his grilled cheese was safe. I appreciated that more than they know. As a new mom who is also new to the allergy world I’m just learning and the fact that they thought to show me the ingredients says so much. Usually people think if there are no peanuts it’s safe, but you knew enough to look at the ingredients in the bread and go the step further to show me, and I thank you for that!“
“Goshen Pizza is a hidden gem! Easily, the best thin-crust pizza I've ever had, and their garlic knots are to die for! “I forgot to mention on my last review that we always get a vegan pizza to go with our dinners. It is really great crispy pizza with vegetables on top but no cheese. I'm sure all the other pizzas are equally delicious. Lasts for days in the fridge and can be reheated in oven- not microwave because that makes the crust mushy! Really good place!“

The bread was warm and toasty and NOT SOGGY turkey was amazingly warm and light the cheese was melted to perfection complete with a cheese pull with every bite. Set up like a please be seated but attempted to run as a please wait here to be seated. Open kitchen, very loud and annoying. Upgrades need to be made. I had the baked Sicilian Penne with home made meatballs, tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, penne, topped with Mozzarella. It was good, I finished it, however, needed more sauce and I'm not a big fan of penne but they have no angel hair. Debbie had the baked mannacotti and finished it too, so she liked it. Only 3 dressings for the dinner salad, blue cheese (yuk), ranch (yuk), and a house oil and vinegar which was not very good, what a waste of the .10 cent dinner salad. Bread was ok, kind of prebuttered but served with no butter, unacceptable. Lots of pizza options, grinders, and appetizers, but that's it. Good heavy trafficked location so they'll stay in business.“

“I've driven by Bantam Pizza for years, and I think before this only stopped once. It's a cute exterior, it clearly used to be a house with a big front porch. The restaurant has a front and side entrance, although the side opens into the table area and looks a little cramped. The front you have more space to take it in. It still looks homey, with a pizza counter in the back of the "sitting room". The menu is pretty big with selections. I ultimately chose a steak sandwich, which had meat that was well seasoned. The cheese ratio was pretty good for this part of the country, and the bread was fresh. The mozzarella sticks were exactly what you think they are, and a little oily. My poor shirt suffered. The Oreo cake was not made in house, but so creamy and chocolately, who cares? The waitress was really friendly despite multitasking while she worked. Check on a table, then unload a box of soda. Check on tables, bring something to the basement. Her speed and good cheer throughout was impressive. It was good food and a good experience!“
