The food is absolutely amazing and the effort that goes into making this dining experience a 10/10 is evident when you taste anything Reds has to offer! With a small staff, you feel right at home when you sit down for what feels like a home cooked meal. Go check out their biscuits & gravy, along with their delicious pancakes. Although, whatever you decide to eat is bound to be delicious! Not to mention all the vegan options available, which is very important to me because my toddler has a dairy & egg allergy. “We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm without reservations and were seated immediately (Thursday night in late April). The dining area faced the waterfront, looking clean and classic. Service was fast, courteous, professional and friendly, attentive without being smothering. We ordered bread which is made on site, warm and delicious; entrees included the Seafood Squid Ink Pasta and a glazed salmon and black bean risotto special. Both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Portion size was good. Coffee was a little bitter; i usually take it black but found myself wishing for some sugar. Desserts were carrot cake and creme brulee which were ok. The small parking lot was full, but we found street parking. Prices were medium high, ok for a special evening out.“

“Can only comment on a few items... Buttery smooth lattes with the Canyon Coffee they use. Great Chicken Salad sandwich! Really good Rotisserie Chicken and sides. Drip coffee is really good too. Egg sandwich is a tad bland, but solid. Staff is always really friendly.“

“An upscale but friendly restaurant, Rio has a relaxed in an upscale setting. The food is Mexican, not tex-mex. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I had the impression the place is family run. We will definitely be going back.Vegetarian options: I noted some dishes have portobello mushrooms as the "meat" option. Other dishes had all vegetable options.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has a good selection. The food comes on a divided plate in case you have a picky eater.“

“What used to be a regular local bar, got even better about a year ago. Although I miss the pool table, I think the new changes are great. I always get something different every time I come. The last time, I had a taco salad, and although it seemed a bit small, the flavor was great. The burgers here are large and amazing (a bit "finger-licking" sloppy here and there). For local wings, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE! The beer taps change regularly, and the cocktails are always (dangerously) yummy!“

Big, crispy, gooey delicious-ness that is served with just enough tomato bisque to dip and enjoy. The atmosphere is nice, some people were there working on their laptops, others meeting friends for lunch. The desserts looked abs decadent, I'm looking forward to going back and trying the baklava. “Fantastic Mexican restaurant. Good vibes and good music. There is an upstairs and downstairs seating area. We came for lunch on a Wednesday and were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Although a little pricey, the food was amazing. Highly recommend the chips & salsa or the guacamole & salsa. Limited street parking.“

“I loved my experience at Pink Basil because of multiple things. Firstly the food was delicious and well made. Secondly the decoration was really pretty and just made you feel at home. And lastly our server Meriah was very nice even with our chaotic family.Kid-friendliness: We had two kids and and my daughter is a very picky eater and they made a special meal without some of the things she wouldn’t like.“

“It's a really nice environment to be in. If you're like me and prefer less crowded restaurants, go for dinner as late as possible. We went at 7pm, and it was the ONLY time I've seen empty seats there. I'm just not a fan of packed places. The food is amazing, and I love looking into the kitchen to see what the cooks are preparing. “Unbelievably fantastic beer and dining. They have the best grilled oysters in New England. Pair it up with Effed Up On Pilz and you will be in Heaven. They even have Effed Up On Pilz shirts that are a one of a kind. You have to check it out.“

“Spent a few days in Mystic ... we needed a dog friendly restaurant for dinner and found Dog Watch Cafe. The staff were welcoming and very friendly ... traveling with your dog and finding a restaurant can be difficult but the patio was roomy and had plenty of space for our dog ... it was a relaxing atmosphere oh and the food was awesome! Shea was our waitress and can't say enough about her and the other staff members ... we went back twice we liked it so much! I would strongly recommend the Dog Watch Cafe!“

“Very nice time totally worth the trip from anywhere“

“I went here with my family and let me tell you, it is the definition of FEEL GOOD PLACE! It is a cozy little cafe with 80’s or maybe earlier, handheld games spread throughout the cafe. While we waited we enjoyed playing many games I hadn’t played in years! While we were just chit chatting, all the sudden marshmallow come flying at us! My daughter thought it was so cool, we looked over to see one of the ladies shooting them from behind the counter. She came over a little while later to squirt ketchup and mustard at us, it was a prank but very funny! It was really just a string. To top it off, she brings a small claw machine so my daughter could play it and win some prizes. We found out that they feed squirrels that come up to the window, so we inquired and one of the women tried to get the squirrel to come so we could see it. Unfortunately it did not happen but honestly, just left feeling like my soul was warmed. The food was amazing! The coffee was hot and all the women working there were truly a delight! I wish I lived closer, I’d definitely become a regular. Best part- aside from taking some photos for memories, no one was on their phone. Just really enjoying the cafe and experience.“
