“My boyfriend and I stopped here on my birthday. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The ribs were juicy and tender, the chicken was as well. The yams and potato salad were everything!! I didn't get to try the soda but I will next time. The owner was kind and nice and everyone should visit his establishment.“
“I love Ruby Tuesday in Meriden CT. My family and I always go and request Lena. She has the best service ever! The food along with great service is all we need to make sure we come back every time we go out to eat. Lena always makes sure we feel welcomed and always has a smile on her face. “Maybe off the beaten path and a no frills location but TOP NOTCH BBQ. First time trying Roysters but will not be our last. Some of the best BBQ I have had in CT. We tried nearly every meat and side available (Brisket, Pulled Pork, Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage plus both cornbreads, smoked mushrooms, baked beans mac n cheese and coleslaw). Every bite was fantastic! Excellent smoke rings and nice bark, great spice to the BBQ sauce. You gotta give it try if in the area. Keep it up Brian, it was nice meeting you Sat. “I order through doordash. Most recently I ordered the 2 meat combo with beans and a side of potato salad. The meat was brisket & pulled pork. Both were moist and delicious as well as the beans and corn bread. The potato salad had onions in it which I am not a fan of, so I only had a bite, but the flavor was not of a storemade variety. I asked for sauces on the side (Carolina & KC). The Carolina was spicy which I was not expecting at all. Overall, I enjoyed the food and plan on ordering again sometime.“
“Awesome food and great service! We’ve eaten here several times over the years and always love it. Didn’t plan on eating here today, but couldn’t resist after smelling their meats getting smoked - pulled me in like a magnet. My grandson and I took a morning bike ride on the rails to trails path that goes right past Smokin with Chris. As soon and I got a whiff of that awesome aroma I knew where I was having dinner - great choice! I had the Burnt Ends Duo with Brisket and Pork Belly and highly recommend it. My wife had the Smoked Chili and loved it. Our server was very friendly and attentive as well. We’ll be back!“
“This is such a great restaurant. Love the atmosphere here and the beauty of the place itself. The food is great. The happy hour food menu however is minimal and seriously lacking options. Also, the service at the bar is often very slow unfortunately.“
