“The dirty wings are absolutely amazing! I was raised in western new york and I really happened to enjoy chicken wings when they are good. I don't get them too often now as I am very skeptic. I was visiting in town and read about these dirty wings over there. They are the real deal.I like my wings crunchy.They did that and they had some sticky to them.It was kind of nice.I got the Buffalo style.They were a medium "heat" , as advertised. One thing I am very particular about is blue cheese. Blue cheese can make or break the chicken wings if they are anywhere on the fence, which these wings are not on the fence, they are down right good. The blue cheese is the real deal.It was delicious. I also ordered a Reuben.It was okay.It was kind of dry for me and didn't have enough thousand island dressing for sure. I've been on a Rubin streek for the last few weeks on the road and this one kind of struck out. The wings were incredible though really. The order too a bit longer than I anticipated with the time I was given. It was not a huge deal as the gift shop is pretty neat and the young lady working in there was very kind and helped pass the time through conversation. It was a pretty happening place in the bar and restaurant area a good place to be with a group. Good vibe for sure.“

We got the miso and lime mussels and poutine with our beers and it was SO GOOD! Simple but delicious. The portions were huge. The service was great and the beer was even better! “Great spot. Fish and Chips was outstanding. We were told fries made in house and Panko in fish breading. Really good! Great atmosphere. One of the older wait-ladies wouldn't let the music be herd! Will good again - hopefully on her day off - lol. Will also see also sitting in the back pub room - great tree top views“
“I have never had a bad time or meal while visiting Digger's. I also have enjoyed many birthday parties and other events . They have a semi private banquet room and a large menu to order from when having parties big or small .Vegetarian options: They have salad fries onion rings giant pretzels and if person eats cheese, nachos mozzarella sticks +.Kid-friendliness: When the kitchen is open, children accompanied by parents are welcomed for great bar fare. There is an additional back room with plenty of tables and an outdoor area with ample seating .Parking: There is a large parking lot.When the place is jamming, there's additional parking on the north side of the building and across the street in a strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Large doors at entrance spacious room and handicap bathroomsDietary restrictions: They will try to accommodate everyone's needs if possible.“

“It was very popular on a Friday evening. It was too crowded for us to stay as we had an event that we needed to get to. Would like to try again when we weren't on a schedule.Parking: Lot behind the restaurant. Spaces not clearly lined, so some drivers make their own spaces.“
“1/18/24 Thursday was my first time eating at the 99 in wallingford and have to say my experience was great, for whatever reason I bypassed this restaurant 100s of times and I finally gave them a try and service was amazing, I believe if I'm going by my receipt the waitress name was unique p. Her service was great from the greeting and lite conversation and how attentive she was, her service seem genuine and sincere, she made us truly feel like it was a pleasure to have our service. Now the food caught me by surprise, lately I've been to a number of restaurants and food has not lived up to the price or expectation and before coming here there was only three restaurants that I would highly recommend but now after having this flavorful delicious meal and a wonderful experience this is another highly recommended restaurant added to my list . Thank you to the chef for taking pride in the preparation of my meal you gave my wife and I a reason to return. Also thank you to the manager and owner for a clean , comfortable, professional , welcoming environment.“
“My husband and I really enjoyed this Hard Hat location. Really nice atmosphere, and a well curated menu consisting of bar food, sandwiches and entrees. The steak and cheese eggrolls with a spicy aioli dipping sauce were excellent. Looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu.“
“Came across this little gem on a random strike for a drink and decent food after work as I am new to Cromwell. The atmosphere was phenomenal for 5:30 p.m. I really love the seating and the stained glass makes a nice touch and keeps it true to being a "tavern" as opposed to just a restaurant. This place is not family friendly and isn't intended to be. For golf fans there is a nice range connected to the property with its own bar newly added to the back of the restaurant to purely serve the patrons on the range. Sweet touch! I don't want to say too many bad things about this place because it really was a wonderful quick visit and the energy in the room was an easy adjustment. I came around dinner time on a Wednesday and at about 6:30 they started to pull down a projector screen for trivia night. I didn't stay long enough for that but might have enjoyed it if I knew the genre and something peaked my interest. So now to the negative... As the food was in fact delicious the timing was to be noted. I ordered all of my food to go had a few drinks while I was waiting... First I received my sandwich and chips 20 minutes later The party I came with received part of their to go order, and the rest of my order took another 25 minutes. I think somehow there was a mishap in the kitchen. I ordered my food with my very first drink and it took over an hour ? I ordered the goat cheese honey pizza with added prosciutto and the Florida man sandwich. The chips with the sandwich weren't to my liking but the pizza and the sandwich itself were delicious! All in all this place gets a 4.5. Allan is a nice touch too ??“
“Who knew this local bar has a legit Taco Tuesday!??Located on West Main St in Meriden is Maloney's Pub. Sad to say I have lived here for 20+ years and just started going to this establishment. I was missing out. Bar staff is very nice, provide good service. Drink prices are reasonable and they have mostly any liquor you want. If they don't they will order it for the next time you go! I knew they served food but general go after the kitchen is closed (after 10pm). I went on a Tuesday and overheard someone ordering tacos. I ordered 2 chicken tacos. So good! The ingredients were so fresh and chicken was seasoned perfectly. I am a huge fan of salsa verde and this was the best I've had. Tacos were $2 a piece & draft beers are $3 on Tuesday. Good food, cheap night!“
