“When we decided to take a day trip to Mystic, Connecticut, I asked my Insta friend @mysticlocal for recommendations. Top of his list for breakfast was Sift Bakery, and rightly so. Gorgeous French pastries that taste as good as they look, and a beautiful interior. It was tough to choose, but eventually I picked this exquisite orange pistachio pastry. Pistachio financier with pistachio ganache, orange vanilla pastry cream and pistachio Bavarian. Heavenly ??This great pastry shop is the perfect way to start your day in Mystic. (You'll be walking a lot, so you'll probably burn off the calories ?)“

“Wedding photographer, Mystic local, and food lover here...Oyster Club is the best restaurant in Greater Mystic for sure. I've been with my wife for a few special occasions but have also photographed a wedding celebration here.Chef Renee and company know what they are doing. If you're anything like me, you'll love the uniqueness of everything Oyster Club has to offer, from the the dishes to The Treehouse. This is New England fine dining at its best.If you're in the area (and even if you're not; just make a reservation and plan a drive), you have to stop for a meal at Oyster Club!“

“The best tacos on the Northeastern Seaboard!Had take out once and accidentally got charged for a dine in order as well. Called to ask about the double charge that I saw on my statement and the manager was very quick to respond and handle the issue!Have been a recurring customer for a while now. Taquerio is a destination that anyone visiting the Mystic area should definitely check out!“

“They do a juice cleanse which is phenomenal. It is really well thought through. I have never fasted before and am presently finishing my last green juice on my third day, before the grand finale of the cashew mylk drink, and I feel like I have really done something worthwhile. The rest of the menu is also great, and the people are friendly.Vegetarian options: There’s only a couple things that are not vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Anyone can eat here.Kid-friendliness: It’s great for kids.“

“This was a great Lunch spot! They had a very versatile menu and Our server ( I think her name was Mallory? ) was very kind and polite. I got the dog watch Salad with steak and it was so good! Just a lot of cheese on the salad that I don’t think was listed on the menu.“

“This place definitely exceeded expectations. What we thought was a traditional small brewery turned out to be more of a hub for a bunch of microbreweries. They have a solid selection of beers from local breweries around the area but the food was a great standout. This might sound silly but their French fries are by far the best I’ve had anywhere and their cinnamon sugar pretzel bites was a mound of deliciousness easily more than enough for two and realistically 4 people. We ended up sharing ours with the tables to the left and right of us. ?“
“Such a unique brewery experience located in the quaint downtown village of Mystic! This repurposed, legendary bank boasts an assortment of food choices as well as a variety of beer, wine, and mixed drinks sure to please your palate. It took less time ordering our drinks and receiving them than it would to cash a check at the bank!“

“The exterior of this place is very deceiving. Almost like a seafood restaurant masquerading as an ice cream joint (facade reminds me of Carvel). The seafood there is really really good. Clams and fish were very fresh. If I had more time I would have revisited the next evening for more.Btw, they do have ice cream....“

“I visited Nashville, TN last year with friends, and have been trying to find a similar spicy chicken sandwich. I stopped by the Tin Peddler in North Stonington after work for takeout and decided to try the "Nashville Chicken", with tangy slaw, pickles, kewpie mayo, and a homemade bun. It was everything I could have imagined in the first bite. Spicy and delicious! The fries were an added bonus. Looking forward to going back with friends to try more items on the menu.“

“Parking across street large lot. Chairs tables front of restaurant before you walk in. Bathroom to right as you walk in. Hostess to left. Get a seat closer to the bar area. Views are magical. Outside another dozen or more tables and a bar. So no need to worry about space. But as the season kicks in make a reservation. Prices are inexpensive for the shore. Food is excellent. Drinks prices reasonable. Good beer choices and mixed drinks.“

“We visit Westerly from the West Coast every few months and always pop into Stick + Fin. The coffee is great, if you get a latte it isn't too milky like it is at a lot of other places, americanos are on point. The staff is super friendly. Also the toasts are yum. And usually there is some reggae blasting. Also, we are vegan and it is nice to have a place in Westerly with options. A great way to start the day and it reminds us of the nearly decade long stint living in CA! Thanks for being awesome!Dietary restrictions: vegan optionsParking: parking lot up front“

“This place is a little gem!The sandwiches we got were fresh, big, and delicious! The service was so friendly! The peanut butter cookies had just come out of the oven, so I had to try those too. They were perfect. And, you will appreciate ot more if you are a need! There are so many things to look at!5 stars all around!“
“Shunock River Brewery And River Cafe stands out because it is inclusive to everyone- no weird looks that I noticed to me or other segregated groups and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This place’s hours range from the earliest to latest dinners, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The food is very affordable and if reviewed, I have no doubt that Michelin would give it a “Bib Gourmand” badge. This place is well known for their pizza and for a good reason- pizza is made inside a historic brick column with many ingredients being local. All minors in my family were given delicious cookies upon entry. Not one employee there was even slightly bitter and half the employees were smiling even without guests around. Unique brewery made beer available on tap. Smoking guidelines are unclear and unenforced. Live music occurs twice a week. If you come here consider joining the “mug club” it is a subscription where you have a designated chilled mug that is easy to get to and you can get free beers!Food just as good as environment and all food is made after order.Summary: get your butt up and come here“

“I love going to this coffee shop on the weekends. The interior just gives a very calm vibe and the coffee and pastries available are great. There's plenty of different types of seating if you're trying to do work (they have wifi), or sit down and catch up with friends in front of the fish tank. The staff are very nice to talk to and the service is at the perfect pace. Nothing bad to say about this place, can't wait to go again with some friends!Vegetarian options: They have some vegan options for their cafe drinks as well“

“Food was overall good. Went for the clam fritters and they were incredibly disappointing. Fritter was WAY too tough and made it a chore to chew. We didnt finish them because they were that bad. There was very little clam inside. Definitely would NOT order again. My husband got the whole belly clams and they were fresh and delicious but not cheap. Worth it in my opinion. I got the shrimp po'boy and it was good, but I didn't love the bread (very chewy and seemed to overpower the shrimp).“

“1st timers at Longo Ristorante & Pizzeria. Made a reservation and table was ready when we arrived. Enjoyed a wonderful meal including 2 of the specials. The meatball appetizer is delicious. Also enjoyed the house spiked seltzer. The staff surprised us with a dessert & candle to celebrate our daughters birthday. We will go back.“

“The owner is an absolute doll! I asked her about her experiences while in Puerto Rico, the meals are most enjoyed, and the culture behind food. My fiancè got the chimi burrito and I got the Super Hot Dog. Both were so yummy!! His burrito was FILLED with beef and my hot dog was covered in delish meaty chili!! We also tried a fried goodie in the display; I wish we could give this place a 10/10. Wanna support authentic Puerto Rican foods at local business?? This is the PLACE! Thank you so much for all the yummy food. We will be back.“
“We had an unforgettable experience! It was a snowy Saturday in late February when we arrived. We indulged in a variety of IPAs at this charming classic home, built in the 18th century New England style. The layout was superb, offering plenty of tables and seats to choose from. The bartender, Justin, proudly informed us that all the murals were original, leaving us in awe! They were reminiscent of the Wadsworth Atheneum (CT), showcasing their age and historical significance. Whether you’re here for the beer or not, this building is worth exploring with its iconic status. What an incredible opportunity to tour such a historic gem! We’ll definitely return to enjoy more delicious beer.“

“Fabulous antique home with many seating options both inside and out. Interesting architecture inside and great picnic vibe outside. The beer menu was diverse from DIPAs to NWIPA to sours and cider. I found the NEIPA to be very good with grapefruit undertones. But the cream ale was middle of the road to in my opinion. The inside was fun and comfortable, until we were driven outside by a woman at the next table whose volume rose increasingly. It would have been fine but she was excruciatingly boring. In the end I want to thank her. The outside was delightful!! You can bring in your own food, and there is a lot of seating. Overall a great experience!!!“
“Found this place by accident while waiting for a train, and what a jewel of a find it is. We got there right after it opened and it was quiet, but quickly a few regulars showed up and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The bartender was nice, funny, and made us feel as welcome as the regulars at the bar too. The decor and just overall vibe was stellar. I can only imagine how great it would be during peak hours with more people and live music. It is on the smaller side, so I can imagine it gets crowded, but that's half the charm of a hole-in-the-wall spot like this“

“This little Mystic gem has the delicious ice cream creations around! I had the PB & fudge sundae and my wife had the caramel lovers sundae. OMG delightful! The ice cream is fantastic, the service is quick. Not a lot of seating and it is always packed but the line moves quickly. It gives you time to make the perfect choice. The ambiance is cute, like a country ice cream shop. I love good ice cream and this place knocks it out of the park! A must try and you won't be disappointed!“

“Not your regular restaurant. We stopped for brunch on our way to the Orient Point ferry. What a wonderful surprise it was. Everything served is way above the standard quality of regular and even fine restaurants, for a very moderate price. I wish we would have a place like this closer to home!“

“NL Eats made our night! Six teachers were rushing from an overpacked and understaffed Social where they didn’t even take our order for an hour… we put in an order for 4 potatoes and 2 mac and cheese- by the time we walked down bank st. Our food was packed and ready to go! We ate the most delicious loaded baked potatoes, taco potatoes, and Mac and cheese on the front steps of the library before going to see Bored Teachers at the Garde- thank you, NL Eats- you gained 6 costumers for life! ?“

“Probably the BEST breakfast sandwiches around!!!! I love the sweet Sunday!! It’s my absolute favorite. I’m usually not a sausage person but they put sausage 2 eggs and cheese between a Portuguese sweet roll and it is soooooo good :) I love Portuguese sweet rolls, I grew up with them at my grandmas house. I love that the library is right across the street too so I get my coffee, breakfast sandwich, and go across the street to study“

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! To start, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is inviting and clean. The wonderful people that work and run things are amazing with our kiddos and the service has been stellar. I literally can’t name one thing that has gone wrong since we started making this our regular stop and I don’t expect there to be one in the future.“
“An expensive but convenient option for getting from CT to LI (and back) instead of driving through NYC. Boats are looking a bit older these days and inside are not the cleanest, which is annoying for $70ish per ride, but the staff are polite and the trip isn’t bad. Recommended.“

“It's a really nice environment to be in. If you're like me and prefer less crowded restaurants, go for dinner as late as possible. We went at 7pm, and it was the ONLY time I've seen empty seats there. I'm just not a fan of packed places. The food is amazing, and I love looking into the kitchen to see what the cooks are preparing. Thank you for a great time, each time!Parking: There's a parking lot in the rear of the building; super convenient. There's also street parking towards the front of the building as well.“
“Such a fun place. The sommeliers there are knowledgeable and very nice. I've been several times; the wines are really good and there's a nice variety, most likely you'll find a fav. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy a nice afternoon.“
