“Amazing local restaurant, eat here at least once a week, sometimes 2 or 3 times. My go to is the harvest Salad with the house balsamic vinaigrette (wow, it’s awesome), the Chicken Club is also really good. Great place to go and grab a beer as they have a great selection, and watch a game. Staff and ownership are amazing.”

“I have been to The Loaded Goat a handful of times now. Always a great experience, but today the woman who took care of my order (twice in one day because I happened to drop my first drink on the sidewalk...haha) went completely out of her way to show kindness to me today. That is very much appreciated. Atmosphere is great, many specialty drinks to chose from, and friendly employees. I will be back again soon.”

“The shrimp used to be sizable, but lately, they have changed to regular sized shrimp. They're still very tasty but there are only four in a meal. A bit disappointing. I realize the cost of everything has risen lately, but I wonder if the extra large shrimp might never return even after the war subsides.”

“My husband is Portuguese and from Naugatuck, with his great grandparents having been greatly involved in the Portuguese club. For his birthday, he wanted to go in and experience the restaurant since we heard the food was good, so we called ahead and made a reservation with someone at the club. When we arrived, all heads turned and looked at us from the bar, and they couldn’t locate our reservation, but thankfully seated us anyways. A bit bare bones, which we expected, but the food was good. Our server perked up when my husband’s grandmother started speaking Portuguese to him. The shrimp Mozambique sauce was a bit too vinegary and more similar to buffalo sauce than we were expecting, and the chicken francaise was very lemony, but nothing was bad! We loved the presentation of the chorizo. When we were leaving, we realized there was a nicer restaurant side that had been locked when we first arrived, and we wished we had been able to sit in there instead of the bar side. Overall, it definitely felt like an authentic experience and is a well kept secret in Naugatuck!”

“STRIKE 2, FULL COUNT NOW. - This is a better choice for fast food in town. Great food, fresh every time. Twice this week it was not busy when I ordered and on two separate orders, I asked for to substitute the sodas for coffee shakes. The first time they were Chocolate shakes. So, I order an extra coffee shake on the Carvel side as my brother is allergic to Chocolate. I went in tonight and order my brother's meal for him. When I ordered I made sure to announced that it was a Coffee Shake, TWICE. While waiting, I noticed the female trainer had the trainee put a medium Vanilla Shake instead. When the buzzer went off, not only was there no shake ready but was asked: "Oh, you had a vanilla shake too, right?" "NO! Coffee!" Another wait as they made the coffee shake I originally ordered. Baseball season is upon us, hopefully, you don't strike out if I (we) come in again. Advice - Check your orders placing and receiving them.”

“Menu had lots of variety and the service was very good. All of the food was fresh and tasteful and they gave big servings. A big train goes behind the restaurant occasionally and that is great for the atmosphere. There is also a outside area for sitting”

Had went to visit this Brazilian American café, Junior's Lunches as it happened to be something, that had caught my husband and I's eye as we were going down to visit Naugatuck, Connecticut for my husband's appointment in renewing/updating his Portuguese passport at the Portuguese Consulate. We were feeling in the mood of wanting to try one of their desserts, (which happened to be the Mousse, Assados, along with a water. I believe I had ordered a Passionfruit Mousse and my husband had ordered...a Vanilla flavored Assados with water).

After eating my Passionfruit Mousse, for some reason, I believe it wasn't agreeing with my system and was in urgent need of a bathroom...I would assume when the employees were making these, they had put too much sugar or, something within the mousse. Overall, I would mention, that my husband and I had enjoyed trying out one of their desserts but, I guess next time; I would have to come prepared with a water and a nearby bathroom...Lol!”

“Perfect choice! Ordered lunch shrimp with broccoli with curry sauce. It came with fried rice. Looked and tasted great! Loved the no MSG comments, and that soup, soda, or egg rolls were optional add-ons and not automatic. Swift friendly service, and sauces and utensils were easily available. Perfect size to eat while I waited for an order at Walmart pickup across the street.”

“Ohhh myyyy gawwdddddd!!! Ate here last night and it was absolutely amazingggg!!!! I loved the murals painted on the booths and the food was soooo good, that I even ordered take out on top of dining in. The server was soooo accommodating and sweet and I will definitely be coming back again. Not from the area butttt I enjoy eating and it’s well worth the drive.”

“My favorite go to for a cold one. The owner Andy is one of a kind as well as all the beautiful bartenders Michelle, Melissa & Kim always give service with a smile. Stop in for a game of pool or darts. On weekends there is always karaoke or a D.J. They even do events such as dance lessons or paint and sip. They are involved in many fundraisers and projects to help better the community.”

“I am going back and forth whether its 5 or 4 star rating but its better than 4 but not quite 5 yet at least. I will have to try some more to possibly update to 5 stars but as of now I'm sticking with 4. The reason for 4 stars is that the food was lacking a bit more intensity in the flavor. The flavors are there and the food is good but the flavors that I'm used to are not completely shining through. It's hard to explain but maybe after the next visit it will change. Typical food truck vibes and super friendly service which is a huge plus. Food comes out fairly quick but not quick enough for you to think its just laying there on the side and waiting to be loaded. They definitely put pride in their work and I will definitely be back (hopefully to change the review to 5 stars) ... Definitely worth trying if you are craving mexican food in the area ... keep up the good work”
