Some cultural experience including hanging out with locals; which was my favorite because it brought me back to my exchange experience (even made time in the trip to visit my host family). Lots of great food; he knows where to go! Best of all; willing to go with the flow of our family rhythms.”

“Love this place. Authentic Portuguese cuisine. I always try new foods. Last visit I had the whole grilled sea bass. It was out of this world good! Hubby had the beef stew. It was better than mine!!! No need for me to make it anymore. Manny was very accommodating and Carlos is a real sweetheart! Can’t wait to go again.”

“STRIKE 2, FULL COUNT NOW. - This is a better choice for fast food in town. Great food, fresh every time. Twice this week it was not busy when I ordered and on two separate orders, I asked for to substitute the sodas for coffee shakes. The first time they were Chocolate shakes. So, I order an extra coffee shake on the Carvel side as my brother is allergic to Chocolate. I went in tonight and order my brother's meal for him. When I ordered I made sure to announced that it was a Coffee Shake, TWICE. While waiting, I noticed the female trainer had the trainee put a medium Vanilla Shake instead. When the buzzer went off, not only was there no shake ready but was asked: "Oh, you had a vanilla shake too, right?" "NO! Coffee!" Another wait as they made the coffee shake I originally ordered. Baseball season is upon us, hopefully, you don't strike out if I (we) come in again. Advice - Check your orders placing and receiving them.”

“Environment was inviting. Two lovely ladies . One made my sandwich . No issues just my first time getting the sandwich I didn’t realize how spicy it actually is so if you don’t like spicy I wouldn’t get it . I got it without the chipotle sauce . Only reason why I gave it 4 stars . Other than that it was an amazing sandwich . Definitely going back .”

“I eat here one to two times a week, and it's seriously so great every time. I get a ton of food in one serving, and treats here and there for being loyal! The owner is so nice.”

“So this place is real good. The atmosphere is great. I know this is a soft open so I will give a bit of a critique. Plates and actual silverware not plastic should be placed at the tables either before or right when people sit down. Including napkins. The paper menu should have descriptions of what each item offered on the menu is. I would suggest either a picture or word description by each category of food. This way it gives people an idea of what it is. The item words like Temaki, Hossomaki, Uramaki, Niguiri etc are not descriptive enough. Not all people use instagram or FB so having the menu items with a description is better then having the hostess explain. This will speed up the serving. For the people that have social media give them the address on the menu or a bar code on the table if you want people to refer back to those menu items and pictures. Other then that you guys are on to a great start. Good luck and I would recommend people to try this great take on sushi.”

“My favorite go to for a cold one. The owner Andy is one of a kind as well as all the beautiful bartenders Michelle, Melissa & Kim always give service with a smile. Stop in for a game of pool or darts. On weekends there is always karaoke or a D.J. They even do events such as dance lessons or paint and sip. They are involved in many fundraisers and projects to help better the community.”

On A Positive Note: Great service and fresh hot food.

I dined outside, for lunch, as part of a MeetUp group. This was my second time here. Today, I ordered fried shrimp, fries and coleslaw. The shrimp was tasty, lightly battered, and cooked just right. However, the fries were just ok and the coleslaw was tiny and rather dry. For $24 I would prefer the option of a side salad over fries.

The Verdict: A nice atmosphere and decent food.

“I typically never write reviews for restaurants that we only visit once while traveling but this spot was phenomenal. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcomed in a restaurant we’ve never been to before. The food was prepared for us quicker than any other Chinese food spot I’ve been to and it tasted AMAZING. They offer both Chinese and Japanese food so the variety was large. Sometimes when restaurants have a lot of selection, the food is moderate but that wasn’t the case here. We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious. Space is very clean too. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area”

“My boyfriend I ordered from here three times and each time it got better and better. This is definitely a great pizza spot in Naugatuck! At the top of our list in this town. The first two times I got the feta cheese pizza (if you haven’t tried, a must! Also if you have hot honey at home that combo is AMAZING). My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap and asked for extra chicken. We also got delivery and it was pretty quick!”

“This place is great, I’ve been close to 10 times now and have never been disappointed! My favorites so far are the land and sea quesadilla and the quesa birria. The tres leches is delicious as well.
The bad reviews they have are quite shocking to me because this is one of the tastiest and consistent places I’ve been to. I will continue to be a happy customer here!”
