“Everything was Great!! I walked in expecting good service and good food and I walked out a happy customer. I ordered the bbq and the j*** sauce wings, It was amazing!! I was actually licking my fingers because the sauce was sooo good. I must add the decor was beautiful. It looked so elegant on first encounter and I found myself talking about it during my whole dinner. You won't regret eating at favorites. I promise you, I will be a regular over there.”

“The spice palette is very welcoming, great customer service, staff patient with menu questions and suggestions. Our dinner was selected from the vegetarian/vegan menu and did not disappoint. Portion size is perfect as we like options. Also great for sharing. Our selections easily fed 4. half of our dinner was taken home as it was too delicious to leave behind. We say the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in new London .”

“We were on a family dine-out after the holiday and were planning on checking out a different sushi restaurant in New London which was not open so we ended up here. And it was absolutely an amazing hit! We first were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary spring roll as we were seated. We ordered a few appetizers, couple of special rolls, their lover boat, and finished with a few deserts. Everything was surplus in quality, very fresh, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. The lover boat was a blast to everyone when it came and was an absolutely upscaled experience to have sushi and sashimi served on the boat. Checkout the photos. Their deserts were great and our favorite winner is the sticky rice with mangoes. Everyone in the family from 6 to 65 had a wonderful time dining there. Would definitely recommend and would come back next time when we are looking out for sushi time again.”

The sandwiches and grinder were freshly made and stacked high...delicious. only drawback is waiting area and the long lines (other people obviously know it's a great lunchplace too.”

“I got the Fish and Chips last night 09/03/2024. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were quite big. I usually don’t get to have seafood because I moved down south near Asheville, NC but this place made one of my favorite meals (that I don’t get to have too often anymore) perfectly even the fries were cooked perfectly. “I am writing to both commend and thank your staff for their kind graciousness above and beyond the call of duty. My friend and I came to the Inn on Saturday, February 23 around 2:20 pm. We desired a simple glass of wine in a beautiful and quiet place to have an important discussion. Although the Inn was closing, the bartender Robert graciously served us and the waitress welcomed us to the dining room although the kitchen had closed. It was not until we left at about 3:30 that we learned, accidentally, that the waitress, Grenis and chef, Dave, had stayed simply because we were there. We are grateful for their kindness. We were fortunate that the Inn operates in the "old way" where the guest is the highest priority. I hope you will recognize how beautifully your staff represented the Inn's values.”

“01.30.25 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' featuring Apathy- The Dutch Tavern 23 Green St ❤️ City of New London, CT ❤️ I ordered and reviewed their Cheese Steak Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Red Potato Salad. Apathy had a Cheeseburger with Red Potato Salad and Broccoli Cheddar soup. The big question is, "How was this Spot"?👎🏾👍🏾💣 Well I was pleasantly surprised that the place was booming when we walked in, I loved the whole atmosphere, the Owner and cook named Tim was very talkative and friendly to my Brotha Apathy and I. To top it all off he served us both delicious sandwiches👍🏾👍🏾, potatoes salad👍🏾 and broccoli and cheddar soup👍🏾. The Dutch Tavern is a great little spot, a hidden gem in the City of New London and I am glad that I finally found it!! You really need to get your *as down there Right away!👍🏾😏 Thanks Dutch Tavern! “Our server was Caitlin! She was awesome! My 2 sons and I went out to dinner and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had anywhere! She was training Richardo and the duo was top notch! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating with our substitutions. They never let us run out of drinks, they kept our table clean and the friendliness and patience She had with my kids ordering for themselves was admirable! “01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. “This place was impeccable. everything from the service to the decor was on point. When walking in I thought that the food would make me need to use the toilet for 3 hours straight but when I walked in I felt this strange aura as if God himself was trying to give me a sign that this restaurant will wash me of my sins and boy, that’s what I experienced alright! When the server spoke to me, I started blushing and thought he was the most gorgeous person I’ve ever seen. Even though I have a girlfriend(obviously), I went straight ahead and dumped her right then and there. When I stuffed my mouth with the food, it felt like fireworks exploded and melted in my mouth. It was just soooo good that it surpassed every restaurant I’ve ever went to in my life. I’d literally give up my children in order to just have a nibble of the food again. The only downside to this place would be that I can’t ever go to any other restaurant again because they can’t even begin to match the pure satisfaction of just being in the presence of these amazing, good-looking chefs. If I could, I would rate this infinite stars since this place was sent down from God himself. It’s as if the angels came together to lead me to this wonderful place. This is truly the second Garden Of Eden. I believe this is truly the place pure hearted people go when they die. Now I gotta finish this review before my dad comes home to beat me again cause my mom just cheated and he needs someone to let his anger out so byeeeeeee!!!!! ☺️”

“I found this little pub while I was on a date on my birthday. The atmosphere and crowd was pretty decent. most of all, I love the fact that they do live performances. Unfortunately for me the person who I was with wasn't feeling the music and wanted to leave. Honestly, I should've ditched her ass instead and vibe out with another chick that night (something that my gut feeling was screaming at me to do). If I ever get another opportunity come to this pub, I might just change the star rating.”

“I went here with my family and let me tell you, it is the definition of FEEL GOOD PLACE! It is a cozy little cafe with 80’s or maybe earlier, handheld games spread throughout the cafe. While we waited we enjoyed playing many games I hadn’t played in years! While we were just chit chatting, all the sudden marshmallow come flying at us! My daughter thought it was so cool, we looked over to see one of the ladies shooting them from behind the counter. She came over a little while later to squirt ketchup and mustard at us, it was a prank but very funny! It was really just a string. To top it off, she brings a small claw machine so my daughter could play it and win some prizes. We found out that they feed squirrels that come up to the window, so we inquired and one of the women tried to get the squirrel to come so we could see it. Unfortunately it did not happen but honestly, just left feeling like my soul was warmed. The food was amazing! The coffee was hot and all the women working there were truly a delight! I wish I lived closer, I’d definitely become a regular. Best part- aside from taking some photos for memories, no one was on their phone. Just really enjoying the cafe and experience.”
