“Made a quick stop here for Dinner. Food quality was excellent. Good portion sizes for entrees and appetizers. Service staff were friendly and quick to help with any questions. Place had a decent ambiance. Overall good experience with food and service.”

“Excellent atmosphere, service, libations and fare! Where else can you go to a Colonial Tavern-Restaurant that was built before the American Revolutionary War. I have been coming for years and have found that it’s gotten better if anything! Fireplace in the bar is great. It’s my favorite in Mystic CT.”

“We’ve been to the Stonington location before and enjoy the beer. We enjoyed our time however docked one star because service is incredibly slow. It was pretty busy and only one person behind the counter. Seemed there was another staff working but really not working. She kept drinking and not assisting with customers ?‍♀️”

“Food was amazing!! My favorite dish was the lobster bisque. Service was a little slow due to the popularity. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming.Kid-friendliness: I took my kids who are 4 and 7 and they also enjoyed it. They have a kids menu with plenty of options such as grilled cheese and many other kid friendly foods like pizza and soups.”

“The staff at Gametime are exceptionally friendly and provided above and beyond service to my wife and I several nights ago. Beyond that their chef did a phenomenal job accommodating to our individual palates. I always order wings as crispy and hot (spicy) as you can possibly make them. You know, like “leave them in the fryer until tomorrow” crispy and “try to hurt me” hot. Gametime didn’t disappoint. They were crispy in spite of being doused in sauce, and hot enough to satisfy my chili addiction with a flavor that made them so much more satisfying than just hot. Hands down the best wings I have ever had!!! (from a non-accredited 36 year wing connoisseur)”

“One of the VERY few places I would give 5 stars to. Eat here every time I’m in Mystic. This place is good enough to travel a distance to, just to have lunch or dinner.Parking: Public parking lots all around if you can’t find a spot in the street”

“Great place and Biker Friendly! 10/10!My waitress was Rachel D. She was very friendly and was quick to get my order as well as get my order to me.I had the chicken and bacon quesadillas with some ranch dip… very good and very filling especially considering it’s technically an appetizer in of it self. Previously, I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was damn well made too. It’s fairly cheap as far as food in Groton goes so I would $100% recommend this place!Parking: Lots of places to park and it has a few spots specifically for Motorcycles in front too!”

“I've been going to Koto every now and then for years now as my wife enjoys the hibachi "experience" so this review is really only regarding hibachi.If you go during lunch or dinner times the place is generally busy enough that you won't have to wait long before the grill/table fills enough to have them start.the service is sufficient and the wait people have always been nice.While overall I like the place and the food, the fact that I've going to this place for years allows me to recognize that the serving sizes have plummeted.For starters you get a small soup and salad as an appetizer while you wait for the chef. I like the dressing they use whatever it is.The soup is broth with a few mushrooms in it. Tasty enough.For the meal I generally order the scallop and steak combo which costs a little extra. Unfortunately the last time I was here I only got maybe 4-5 scallops in total. Also the steak piece that they give you is really very tiny. Plus that includes the fat that was on my piece.You also get to choose fried rice or/and Chinese noodles. the rice I noticed has less in it. It used to have little pieces of peas, carrots, onions, etc. Not there's very little of any of that. Maybe a few peas but that's about it. Likewise the noodles are just noodles cooked in sauce.That said, it all tasted good. Just hard not to notice the price increase and lesser serving size.As for the hibachi "show". Maybe I'm just because I'm old or maybe its because I've been here a few times but once you've seen it once there's no surprises. Same old act and my chef while proficient, he seemed to be going through the motions. Its probably enjoyable if you haven't seen it before. Plus kids usually love it.When I went there with my wife last week it ended up being about $100 total. That was for 2 hibachis, a soda and one sake including tip”

“Was a bit late to their "unlimited bowling" night, so had to get on a waitlist but was surprised we were able to get a lane for about the last 1-1.5 hours. For $17 each, it includes unlimited bowling and shoe rentals Friday and Saturday night from 8-11p. While we waited for a lane, we sat in the pub area and shared a pitcher of beer. I had a side of mozzarella sticks while I waited. The food was hot, cheesy, with strong cheese pulls! They have about 32 bowling lanes on each side of the building. Since it was crowded, and we got to bowling late, my usual go-to bowling ball weight was taken, so I had to use a heavier ball. No big deal. Had a good time, and got two rounds of bowling in before close.”

“We went for dinner tonight and had an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly, he helped us navigate the menu and made great suggestions. We got a combo platter so we could share and try it all. The meat melted in your mouth and the flavor was so good. We will definitely be back!”

“I go to college in the area and i absolutely love Margaritas. The bar area is a great hangout spot with friends, the staff is always friendly and responsive, and the food is delicious!! I also love the $6 margarita specials at night and how it changes every month! My personal favorite is the chicken baby chimi's appetizer for dinner, along with chips and queso for the group. I told my parents about this place and brought them here to show them our hangout spot, and they were also pleasantly satisfied with their food and margaritas! I have now brought them back one or two more times since because it is always a friendly environment and fun time!”
