“The cidery is in the same location as valor wines.The owner was there and gave a great description of the wines and the ciders and is very passionate about both which was nice to see and hear.Great little spot to have a couple flights of cider over the weekend.All the ciders had a great flavor to them and the wines were also very tasty.We end up having two flights of cider and one flight of wine and left with three bottles of cider and one bottle of wine.2⭐ for food because they just had a couple packs of candied pecans which were very tasty, but I can't really call it a food option.4⭐ for atmosphere because there was only one other couple in there at that time of the day 3:00pm. Can't speak to the liveliness of it during peak times.Looks like a nice seating area outside for when the weather warms up also.“
“I’m not typically one to leave reviews but I feel like Lumi deserves one. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! The sushi and food is always delicious and the service is great. I have ordered delivery from Uber eats several times and for many people while at work and they always get the order right. They even pack the sushi according to each persons order and label everything. Definitely give this place a try!!“
“This place is a fun time for friends to hang out, have a drink, and play pool. They offer good music, fresh food (for a bar), and the place is clean and well-maintained. Everyone was very friendly. It's located in an unassuming plaza, surrounding by various home improvement companies, so it can be easy to miss if you don't know to look for it.“
“Went there with a group. It was busy in bar with limited seating so plan ahead. Everyone had a good time and was happy with their food. My doob wings were fantastic as well as the burger. Maddy our server was witty and dealt with our nonsense like a true pro. Definitely coming back.“
“Today we hosted a surprise baby shower for our daughter at J. Roos. From the time I booked to the end of our event everything went smoothly and the service was great. Every person I spoke with during the whole process was a delight.The space met our needs and looked great! Our server Johna (sorry if misspelled) was so sweet and on top of everything. She worked hard to make sure everything we needed was met and all our guest all mentioned how polite she was.We chose the brunch buffet option because our daughter enjoys a good brunch and we were not disappointed. The penne ala vodka was delicious! I will definitely consider hosting future events at J. Roos as well as visit at other times to try their other food options.“
“Had to rub my eyes to make sure that I was in New Haven because this restaurant stepped right out of Manhattan. Each dish we enjoyed was recommended by our sever as was the fabulous wine too. The chef introduced himself before seating and checked with us just as our larger plate arrived. He added very much to the overall ambiance.“
“Rare find! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcomed. From the food to the amazing staff, it was all delicious and well made. “They let us in and were so kind to us 15 minutes before closing when everyone else was already shut down for the night. We were on a roadtrip from Boston home to NJ and very hungry. The place is modern, new, clean, and welcoming. The food was very good. We had fried artichokes, steak tip tacos, stuffed clams, Caesar salad, Buffalo wings, and meatloaf. Everything is made fresh. Nothing was frozen. Portions were large so we took home leftovers. Pricing is affordable. The waitress was so gracious and attentive. She even brought us drink refills before we even asked. If you find yourself in the area I recommend you try this place.“
“Dangle's is a black-owned business in well established downtown. The restaurant is nice and quaint giving you the feels of being connected to the owner and staff. The food was delicious - delivered hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It behooves anyone reading this to try this place out. You won't be disappointed.“
“Awesome place!!! Been there several tines and had a wonderful time. I took my grandson and friend along with my family and the friends mom. We had snacks and the food, drinks and service were outstanding!!! Staff very friendly. The boys played some video games but mostly played virtual golf. Plan to go back again. Also, went to a 40th birthday party!! Great venue for a party. Such a nice place for an afternoon or night out!!!“
