“Had a great meal as always at Liv's! We love the food and service. When we arrived it was a little chilly, we notified our server we were cold and it seemed others were too and he requested the manager increase the temperature a little. After that, everything was perfect! One little nitpick is the tables are very sticky. We noticed it last time too. Not sure whether the coating failed or what. They were not ‘dirty' just sticky. Other than that, the food was amazing. My wife and daughter both had a Halibut special. My daughter had the cauliflower soup which I tried and it was spectacular! I had the tuna tartare and a ribeye and they did not disappoint! Certainly am amazing meal and great service. Thanks Liv's!“

“I tried Vincitori for the first time and the Shepherds pizza was DELICIOUS! The pork was amazing and the pineapple and salsa added a great touch on the taste buds. I wish this could stay on the menu forever! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be trying this place again.“

“This place is a gem for healthy and delicious food. Truly healthy food that actually taste great. It’s usually hard to find a restaurant with good vegan options, let alone also gluten-free. Well, in this place, everything is vegan, gluten-free and delicious.Another great thing is that they use really good ingredients. For instance, using monk fruit to sweeten cakes and desserts instead of harmful refined sugar.I have tried so many vegan-GF wraps, but they always fall apart so badly and are tasteless for the most part or very hard. This place has mastered the wrap recipe, and they taste great.Pizzas are also a must. We love the Hawaiian one, vegan and GF!And bakery products? To die for! “WE had a craving for dessert after dinner and decided to stop here for a fix. Sampled some flavors and decided on Choc therapy, a berry berry extraordinary sorbet, and coffee buz buz. Very quiet for a Saturday night, had the whole place to ourselves. We all enjoyed ourselves and were satisfied with our picks. Nice after dinner treat.Okay, berry berry extraordinary is thee yummiest sorbet non dairy dessert I've had yet. It made me come back. There aren't many non chocolate or non nut options, which made me choose Sorbet. I'm glad I did!“

“I’ve driven by multiple times and finally had a chance to stop in for an early dinner. Upon entering the hostess was very pleasant and took me to the front patio area. I also immediately recognized the pomodoro and garlic smell that is distinctive of high end Italian restaurants. The waiter was just as pleasant and recognized that I was from out of town ( must have seen my plates on my car ). The bread and smoky EVOO was a great touch. There were multiple menu items I wanted to try but decided that this visit would be the old faithful Chicken Parm. It absolutely did not disappoint. Arrived perfectly prepared from the kitchen and as accompanied by home made spaghetti. One of the best prepared chicken parms I’ve had on the East coast. Skipped dessert but will be back to try more! Bravo !!“

“We had a wonderful experience. Farm to table fresh. The shrimp and crabmeat chowder was the best we have ever had. Made with fresh cream and butter and lots of shrimp and real sweet crabmeat. (Many places add whitefish but this was all wonderful crabmeat). The flatbread and the coconut curry dish were also spectacular and we also enjoyed them for lunch the next day. It was nice and slow and relaxed, with a wonderful atmosphere and nice music. Very pleasant servers and atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!“

“The service was excellent. Cocktails were elevated, unique, and presented beautifully. 3 of our 4 meals were excellent and priced fairly. The steak dinner was the only disappointment. The cut of meat for a Prime Cut NY Strip Steak was too marbled and fatty. It felt more like a Ribeye Cut than a Strip and for $60 was a disappointment. The pasta dishes surpassed any past dish of any restaurant along the shoreline and the Roast Pork dinner from the trattoria menu was cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit again and won't order steak where the pasta is hand made.“

“From the moment we walked in we had great service. We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and they were more than happy to take us back right away! Our server was outstanding. She gave us the perfect amount of attention and allowed us to order as quick or as slow as we needed and take our time to have conversations while she snuck in to fill our beverages. “Absolutely without a doubt my FAVORITE place for Frozen Yogurt! This is not my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last :) You will for sure be greeted by the incredible employees who are always so welcoming. They put you first and are incredible! The decor and atmosphere say a lot of good things about- it's a very welcoming place for humans and their four legged best friends. I'm obsessed with Labrador Retrievers and this place was named for a beautiful black lab named Luna. A great selection of frozen yogurt, gelato, frozen sorbet, and bubble tea, along with other goodies. Next time I'm here it'll be for a Bubble Tea, which I am super stoked about! You will certainly not regret coming to Sweet Luna's. It is very yummy!“

“I was so excited to go to Sweet P's during our trip to Essex, especially after hearing they use Ashley's ice cream! We were greeted so kindly! I ordered lemon graham and salted caramel on a waffle cone. Both flavors were amazing, but man, was that lemon something special! We really enjoyed everything! “Thai place has excellent pizza and entertainment for the kids. There are two large displays of model trains upstairs. It’s fun to take the shoreline east train service there and back to get lunch or dinner.Kid-friendliness: We go to this restaurant so the kids are entertained. They can look at the train models and watch the real trains on the TV screens thT show the train tracks.“

“Such a wonderful and cool place! Welcoming atmosphere with people who enjoy working there. They have a garden in the back and grow some of their own food. Those cherry tomatoes were the best I ever had! I normally don’t even like them. Their coffee and lattes are top notch. The baked goods are amazing also. I was there yesterday, they had a chocolate peanut butter cupcake and lavender shortbread, both delicious! Everything is reasonably priced too, this place can’t be beat. 11/10 recommend“

“My wife and I had breakfast here one Saturday. We were drawn by the availability of paleo options on the menu. We got the paleo waffles with the Blueberry compote, a chicken sausage, and two eggs. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. My wife also got a vanilla lavender hot chocolate that she really enjoyed. We plan to go back the next time we are in the Old Saybrook area.“

“Scotch plains is a great place to hang out and grab some American style food. Downstairs is a more sit down space for dinner/lunch. Upstairs is a fun bar with tables and high tops. Occasionally you can catch a live band. Games are always on the TVs. We went and caught an amazing live band and stayed well after dinner to have drinks! Get the potato chips to start, the dipping sauce is great. I had the burrata BLT, with balsamic and was not disappointed. Chicken Cesar salad was great with a giant crouton. Fun spot!“

“If you are looking for good quality pub food at a fair price, you found it here at this cute little place in the heart of Old Saybrook. Nestled on Main Street, RHT provides good food and good service. This was my first visit at RHT and it did not disappoint. I came with my sister. She got a chopped Greek salad that came in an epic tower. I got the Cobb Salad that was perfectly proportioned with fresh ingredients. We split some honey chipotle boneless wings and fries. The wings were perfectly crispy, yet tender in the middle. I don't know what magic they put into making them, but I'm going back for more. The fries were flavorful and perfectly crispy.We came at 11:30 on a wintry Saturday and were the first ones there. By the time we left, there were 3-4 other couples dining. My guess is this place is packed in the evenings and especially in the summer. Food is served on ceramic plates, but utensils and drinks in plastic. If that is something you care about, you won't give it a thought when you are digging into the food. Bottom line, try it out, you won't be disappointed.“
