“The BarXlll Delaware is a great place to go and The Bar got alot of events and got a food Truck out front of the bar and they sell food right there and I recommend going to check it out and the people are friendly and I'M be going Back again and again and I hope see you there at the bar.“
“We had a wonderful couples night out. Our waitress, was phenomenal and gave great advice on drinks and eats. You can tell she was trained well and knew the menu. Food is old American but very tasty and good portions. The bread pudding was unforgettable and can easily serve 4 or get 1 and you will have plenty of leftovers. My only regret was not ordering a scoop of vanilla ice cream to go with it!Vegetarian options: One main dish was vegetarian., a veggie sandwich which was great! The rest were not. Of course there were some salad options“
“Named as one of the top dive bars in the country, Murph's is a bit less ragged and run down and a step up from some of the dives I've been in. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. You can immediately tell that this is a neighborhood bar, where the locals are all familiar with one another. There is ample space for pool, and the 360 degree wrap-around bar is a great touch. We only came in for beer, and I can report back that the draft beer is quite cold!“
“A very cozy place for a Saturday night date. Surprised on how busy it was as it seems pretty quiet during the day so we did not know what to expect. Live music was great and added to the atmosphere. We tried the potato and leek soup which was nicely balanced with tidbits of potato to give it texture rather than a pureed approach. The scotch egg was nicely hot and nice that it allowed the protein to speak for itself without overpowering it with salt or grease. I enjoyed my toad in the hole and the Yorkshire pudding was nicely baked. The gravy with the mashed potatoes was absolutely brilliant. We want to come visit again when we have another date night.“

“The food was fantastic - I had a mushroom Swiss burger and they use a mushroom mix of cremini, shitake, portobello. Delicious!!The servers were very nice... I made the embarrassing mistake of putting the tip money back in my purse and then wondering where it went ? Thankfully I at least noticed the money missing and asked another server to see if ours had picked the tip up from the table. (He hadn't ?) I was so embarrassed but they handled the situation so gracefully that I gave him more money than the first time around!“
“A dope dive bar where a lot of different folk come together to forget about the outside world and have a few drinks over a game or two of pool. There’s tons of bar space and table seating which makes the walkway quite skinny, so be prepared to be bumping shoulders and hips with the patrons all night. Honestly the back wall being full of TVs is kind of hilarious and doesn’t fit the vibe but who cares. Didn’t get the bartender’s name with the tattoos but that guy was really cool. Bring the lads here.“

“First time here recommended by a friend. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside but we're very comfortable inside. Cute place, historic. First tavern in Delaware.Our server Sara was sweet and attentive. I was hoping for traditional Irish food but it's mainly bar food. I was pleasantly surprised. Our drinks were great.We had Philly rolls, delicious. Onion rings, delicious. For entree I had fish and chips, incredible,! Hubby had the John D burger, fresh and tasty, did not need any condiments. “I drove by this place for years wondering what it could be like. Ive always had high hopes as it is very close to where I live. my feelings were that if the vibe was right, then it could be super convenient. My wife and daughter were away for the night so I stopped in. I was immediately disconcerted over the amount of older men who reaked of retired police. After a beer I realized that my stereotyping was on point. However, much to my surprise they were completely void of any pretention and remarkably friendly, hence this review. The bartender was attentive, and sociable. The regulars were comfortable, and non judgmental. Everything was clean and the prices were reasonable. Comfy seats and a smoking area out front. Plenty of parking too. This place rules.“

“I was referred to this business by a family member, said to have some great food but instead I experienced nothing but anxiety from a drunken bartender. She accused me of already receiving my order when in fact she was intoxicated and simply had forgotten it. So I left with cold food and disappointment after a 30 min wait. Waste of time and money. My wife called and explained the situation and was denied a refund. As long as that dysfunctional lady is working there I'd advise anyone to choose another restaurant. Respectfully ??“
